I am obsessed with this Design + in Marin and San Francisco. Some people check Facebook daily, but I check Design + Consignment Gallery. Every day, unique pieces are just waiting to be in your home from all over the world. Why buy new when you can have unique pieces that are well-made and sophisticated? Also, the sales staff go above and beyond to help you with your selections. Get off the internet and enter this store; you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely stunning store with beautiful pieces and extremely friendly staff who are passionate about their work. This is a hidden gem in San Rafael. I purchased a beautiful lamp that I previously passed up on but so glad I went back for it and lucky it was still there. Can’t wait to come back and find more treasures!

Very professional and knowledge. I purchased a beautiful antique oak dining room table w/inserts, and 6 chairs at a very reasonable price, on a Sunday afternoon. They had it delivered at price so low that I tipped the delivery guys $80, which almost equalled the original delivery fee. We are up a path with many steps on a steep Marin hillside, but the two guys from Lugg didn't bat an eye, and I had my table in my home before dark.

I love this consignment store. The prices are good. The selection is varied the people who work there are unbelievably lovely. I understand they have a another store in San Francisco which I would like to visit. I recommend you go there and buy lots of beautiful things.

What a great place to shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and an ever changing assortment of furniture, art, rugs etc.... There are pieces here to fit every budget and you can view all their stock on line. There is also a store in SF with completely different merchandise (that you can also see online).Mari was patient and helpful in working with me. I came a couple of times to look at a rug that I liked but wasn't sure it would work in my space. She moved furniture so that I could see the entire rug; looked at it with me to identify any damage or stains (there weren't any) and even found me the best price to get it cleaned before I put it in my house. BTW: The rug was in very good condition and didn't have to be cleaned but I assumed that it was easier to do it now then once I'd laid it and placed furniture all over it.Super staff, great selection, excellent pricing.Check out their website. Easy to navigate, filled with info and great photos.Design Plus is a great resource not to be missed.

We came when the store was closed, and guess what they let us in, it was so nice of them… because we found beautiful unique furniture with wonderful service from Pete and Maciek… love it, they were so welcoming and so professional… we went to a different consignment store and we were so disappointed because they closed their store 10 min earlier… please support great people with great thoughtful service !!! Highly recommend them…

This store and its sister in San Francisco are just wonderful. Beautiful pieces and a wide variety of aesthetics. No matter your style, there is probably something here you will covet. I have personally bought chairs, art, lamps and.. more chairs. If they can, they will help you get it to your car. If they can't, or it won't fit in your car, Lugg knows who to work well with them.

A truly incredible spot. Such unique pieces. The price point is generally pretty high, but you can find some great bargains if you're lucky. Plus the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend! I found an amazing dresser at design plus and got it delivered same day. I wish I needed to buy more furniture because this store was filled with amazing hidden gems at great prices. The store also organized the delivery for me and worked with me to find the best priced delivery fee. The people at the store are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back and encourage others to check it out as well. I noticed some reviews said the store was in a sketchy location but the store and location felt totally safe and comfortable to me.

The people here are some of the nicest around and the store looks like a high end new furniture store. They have lovely things. Also, they are very easy to do business with. I have consigned furniture here as well as bought items. And will do so again!

I had a very good experience buying a small used sofa here. All of the people were helpful, polite, and knowledgeable and interrupted what they were doing to help me. When they didn't have what I was looking for in SF they found something for me at their other store in Marin. They wrapped the sofa in plastic so it wouldn't get damaged in transit, helped me load it into my truck, and I was on my way. The sofa was reasonably priced and in good shape.

This place is incredible. Family owned with exceptional customer service. Honestly, if everyone was as attentive and nice as the crew that runs Design Plus, the world would be a better place. They are *always* willing to go the extra mile to help you. They greet you at the door with a smile EVERY TIME. They are just consistently positive and upbeat and the store has SO MANY great items. Items are high-end and in great shape.They also have a "wish list" you can sign up for where they keep an eye out for items that you are looking for. I love that they post everything on the website for both locations too.You can't miss by giving this place a visit! And better for the planet too. If I could give more than 5 Stars I would!
