I am so impressed with my custom made farm table and bench. It's exactly what I was looking for, for an affordable price. It's beautiful, so well made, and came in a weeks time. I definitely highly recommend this company! They even had it delivered! So fantastic, so high value, I definitely recommend them!

I love this storage bench! Michael was very kind & quick to both respond & produce this piece with custom dimensions for us. It was very reasonably priced, easy to pickup & it is very well built! Sturdy, attractive & useful. I'm super glad we get to support a small local business & we ended up with a lovely, enduring piece of furniture rather than buying some piece-of-crap-particle-board-nonsense for the same price. Thank you again Michael!

Michael Catanio built a table and bench for us and the results were amazing! He's really easy to work with, had everything ready when he said he would and we love the work he did! I recommended him to some family and neighbors and would definitely have him do more for us if the need arises.

I found Catanio Woodworking while I was browsing for wood slab tables and came across some nice work on craigslist. There was a beautiful sycamore wood table that was up for sale that sold right before I inquired about it, but there were a few other pieces available that I thought maybe great for my living room.

I found Catanio Woodworking while I was browsing for wood slab tables and came across some nice work on craigslist. There was a beautiful sycamore wood table that was up for sale that sold right before I inquired about it, but there were a few other pieces available that I thought maybe great for my living room.
I ended up buying a different sycamore coffee table that has saw lines across it which I thought has a unique look to it. In fact, it's the table that's featured in the video on their "about" page. I thought I was getting an incredible piece and was extremely excited. What I've come to understand from Michael, the owner, is that this table is one of his "private pieces" which isn't being represented by Catanio Woodworking. The reason this is pertinent is that Michael is one of the worst business owners I've met when it comes to ensuring quality of work and having customer empathy. This table has beetles nesting in it and Michael's form of customer service is sending me a bottle of termite spray to eradicate the nest on my own. I've since used the full bottle of spray and the beetles haven't died and are continuing to poke holes all over the table. The beauty of this table is being ruined as we speak.
While Michael charges slightly less than what you would pay at Crate and Barrel or EQ3, the lack of customer service is unspeakable. I never received an apology for the inconvenience or any follow up of this disaster of an experience. His response to me about the table's quality, "The table was not originally for sale and is not through my business sales, it was a personal item I had around and wanted to give you the option. The original ad was for the other slab that was posted that you came to look at."
Based on this experience, I'd recommend saving your time and money and buy from a place that will back the quality of their work. The inconvenience of having to deal with these beetles and finding a resolution on my own doesn't justify the small cost savings buying from Catanio. All other furniture stores will work with their customers to back their work which I've found is a premium that you pay. I tried my best to resolve these issues with Michael directly but found him to be incapable of taking any responsibility. I've written this review 2 months after trying to work with him. I hope that you have a better experience than I have should you decide to purchase items from him.

Be wary! Gave Michael measurements with photos and he didn't say that it wouldn't work (he just wanted the money) DON'T TRUST or use this guy! So I have $1500 worth of useless doors with hardware. There was a measurement of 4" from the top of the ceiling (which was pictured) He still took the order even though it wouldn't work. Even my handyman said he shouldn't have taken the order take that as paper trail! Stay away!

I got a farmhouse table and bench for my home several years ago. I noticed Michael was using minwax stains and when I checked out the colors, I thought a green table would be nice. It is VERY nice! I love it. After several years, it seems the table just gets better with age. In my old house, the bench was extra seating, now because my space is smaller, it sits with the table and that's where I usually sit. It's very comfortable and I love the color as well (I got a darker green for the bench). I've since fallen in love with Minwax stains and wish I had room for more furniture from Michael.

I work for a luxury boutique hotel, NOBU HOTEL CAESARS PALACE, and we needed a Key Drop Box that fit our luxury aesthetic. We sourced 5 different vendors and Catanio Woodworking was the only one able to provide us with the custom design needed. Working with Michael was an absolute pleasure. He was friendly and prompt in all his communication. He was patient with us as we had some delays on our end with our sourcing team. He never made us feel like we were a hassle and maintained communication throughout. From the moment we placed our order to receiving the product was about 1 week. Fast service! Now that we have received it, I can say the quality is top notch. We are delighted with the product and plan to use him again for more one of a kind crafting for our 5 star hotel. Thank you Michael!

This guy is a hack and has no business building furniture. After seeing a table in person , I wouldn't have this guy build me a fence. The reveals didn't line up ,the screws were not counter sunk, nothing was square and he use number 2 lumber! For those of you that don't know number 2 lumber is used to form concrete/curb and gutter not to build furniture !

I have nothing but awesome things to say about my experience with Michael Catanio! He is so talented, professional, affordable and timely! I asked for a couple decorative pieces for my wall in my new apartment and he had them to me within the week and they are soooooo CUTE! I recommend him to family and they ordered a couple of tables from him, after a remodel in their home! They LOVE THEM!! And he delivers! Thanks Michael, hope to work with you again!!
