I woke up to a flat tire so I headed to Cains tires where Angel fixed me up immediately so I was able to get to work on time. I can’t thank him enough!!

Always buy tires at Cains Tires, but one day recently my front left wheel started making noise. I figured if it wasn't a tire it was something close to it so I dropped in to the Tire shop. Dylan said it sounded like a bearing, and referred me to Nick at this Annex. Had never heard of this place before, but it's on my radar now for anything connected to tires. I may even buy tires here as well, given how busy the main shop can get. Anyway Fabian diagnosed it as a bad bearing after listening to it during about 100 yards of a test drive. Took a few hours to fix it, not particularly cheap nor expensive given that the car is incredibly reliable, paid for and only relies on a battery to start the petro-fueled motor. I'm not a climate denier, but i do know something about manufacturing. Those big complex ev batteries are simply not "sustainable" given how many different exotic materials are required to be dug up in different parts of the globe by third-worlders living in grinding abject poverty. What's never mentioned is that, unlike the ease with which lead is simply melted out of lead/acid batteries, e.v. batteries contain many different metals that aren't discretely localized in the battery so no method has yet been developed to recycle them.

My mechanic highly recommended Cain's Tire Annex and I'm so glad he did. They took great care of me, and they were able to work on my tire repair immediately; the whole thing took about 30 minutes. Younger manager dude was amazing and I wish I could remember his name. Lastly and most importantly, they've got integrity, which was demonstrated to me during our interactions. Great experience. (P.S. this location is much less busy than their other one on 4th.)

Buyer beware! Cain’s uses dangerously cheap parts in your brakes. I had the front rotors and pads replaced in my 2017 Ram 1500 after the factory originals wore out at 80k miles. The replacement parts were completely shot after 25k miles more. Pads worn down to metal on metal. Complete junk. 0/10 do not recommend.

I called around to get rates for brake pads before I went in. I called all the usual suspects in Novato, then a neighbor recommended Cain's Brakes. When I called them, they were the best price and they were true to their price. I needed brake pads and rotors, and new tires! It was a longer driver for me, but the savings was worth it. All the work was done in 4 hours. Fabian was great and the front desk staff was also great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They are honest, offer great service and charge reasonable prices.Services: Tires

The Workers at Cains Brake Annex Are very professional. They do a great job at reasonable prices and get your vehicle finished in a reasonable time. They also have a very large selection of used tires and most of them are like new with great prices. The same thing at Cains tires. Cains Tires have been around for decades and it seems like everybody in Marin goes there for tires , they have the best prices and are very knowledgeable and honest. They don't try and sell the most expensive tires to you. and Mark the owner and his crew go out of their way to make sure your very satisfied.

Lazy staff didn't properly change my brakes, been over 2mo since my terrible experience and my brakes still squeaks.Man with texan accent gives terrible customer service, He will rudely rush you so he can leave early and left my keys in my car in plain sight for anyone in that area to take. Save yourself from overpriced service with underperforming techs would give negative stars if possible. Maybe if you know him personally he will give better service but not to me.Service: Brakes

I wish I could give this place negative stars. This shop was recommend to me by multiple neighbors. They adjusted my brakes for me and then my regular mechanic found that the pins holding my brake calipers on were completely falling out two weeks later! Thankfully they caught it otherwise my brakes would have literally fallen apart and possibly caused me to get in an accident. I called the shop to request a refund and they weren't apologetic in the slightest. Told me I needed to call back another day to talk to another person. Unbelievable. They're really lucky I didn't get injured because they'd be on the hook for a lot more than $83.

Barry is straight up HONEST. He will tell you if you have a little more time for your roters, or he will make adjustments so that you can make them work longer or he will tell you outright if you need new brakes. I am convinced that other places see a little bit of damage and scare you into thinking that major costly repairs are warranted. Barry gives you the honest truth. I will only go here for brake repair and I tell all my friends. He is communicative and easy to work with. I wish every mechanic place was like this. I will NEVER go to a dealership. Thanks Barry!
