If you’re looking to order collectors edition bottles or nice bottles to keep on display, look elsewhere. Packed and shipped poorly.Labels damaged.
Don’t really seem to care once they have your money. But the “Integrity of the product has not been impacted” so I guess thats all that matters (sarcasm)

I placed an order and totally forgot that I was set to be away for vacation. I sent an email to the manager letting them know I wouldn’t be available for the delivery. The manager Amber held the order/shipment for me until I returned! She was extremely polite, professional and kind. I HIGHLY recommend using this site for top notch products. Great great great place to do business with!

They were not willing to ship 10 personal bottles of mine with purchase of an additional 2 from them. Sounds farfetched, but it was a one-time favor I needed.

I love this store but it is NEVER OPEN. Closes at 4:30 on weekdays and is closed all weekend. It's a liquor store, not a bank! I imagine it isn't just me and that if they had more reasonable hours they'd be doing a lot more business. So many times I've wanted to go buy something and no dice. Perfect example, today it's Saturday afternoon and I'm on my way to a bachelor party. I would've spent a few hundred easy but it's closed. So I'm leaving my first YELP review in like 15 years. I don't, but if you work M-F 9-5, you are S.O.L.

It's really great that there is long-standing high quality boutique for the best selection of hard to find items in San Francisco is now operating in San Raphael. . Can be hard to park in San Francisco. In my case is coming by San Raphael when I'm driving north is pretty much weekly occurrence. Dita the charming co owner is always helpful.

I Order one of the best bourbons that I have try BH Smokey that, I was not able to find here in my state and I ordered on Saturday and I paid for the 2 day delivery with Fedex and I was deliver early. m
I will buy again from this guys. No complaints.

What a find! It's a pretty nondescript storefront but a nice, neat setup inside. They have a broad selection with a lot of good prices. I was helped immediately once I came inside and quickly received a couple of recommendations. I'll definitely visit again.

My first time in the store today oh, I walked in the door and Doug was there right away to greet me very polite very courteous very knowledgeable showed me around the store oh, they didn't have what I was looking for but he said he would try and order it! I did buy a can of Stillhouse spirits and I will be back to the store because of Doug and his service and his kindness! Paul S

Ordered an item which was supposed to arrive several days ago which given the time of year isn't a big deal. However the item has twice now said that it would arrive that day and has not which means a day of waiting to sign for a package that doesn't come. I sent an email asking about it and saying I would report the issue to paypal and they did nothing but send me an angry letter and tell me to take my business some place else which I will happily do and you should also!

Had it with BevMo? Especially now that they've become a glorified convenience store? (Seriously. I want bourbon. Not breakfast cereal and candy.) Blackwell's is fantastic. I can't believe we never noticed it, in all the times we've been through San Rafael. Had a field day in there when no one else in Marin had Averna. Got that and a few gins we haven't seen since we went to Scotland. Now Blackwell's is one of our go-to's,, right up there with Vintage Wine and Spirits in Mill Valley.

Thank goodness we have a San Francisco calibre wine store in Marin now. We needed it 20 years ago. Unfortunately they just cut their hours back. Tried to go there on Sunday and they weren’t open, but tried again today and got the same friendly and knowledgeable service I received the other 2 times I visited. It seems many other reviews are for the online side of the business but I usually prefer going to a physical store and this one does not disappoint. Although small, they have a better selection of premium wine than BevMo and way better customer service than Marin beverage outlet. They have great champagne and burgundy sections and a good port selection as well. Give them a try
