If this bank was an animal it would be a turtle - no one seems rushed- 10 people managers talking in group - no worries I'll check on another bank to use

Drive thru ATM is accessible from 5th Ave to Court St. Right turn onto parking structure, you’d find an ATM located left side of the building. You will exit towards 5th Ave once you follow the road to exit out of the parking structure.

Bank of America is horrible and this branch is no exception. There is regularly a line nearly out the door (I've seen it back all the way up to the door on multiple ocassions) even with three tellers working. Once you are finally greeted by a teller they are generally fairly rude at worst and impassive at best. I once went here and was overdrawn by just a couple of dollars and had literally overdrawn that day. I went to deposit my work check and the teller, right then and there, charged me a $35 overdraft fee. I have dealt with these matters before so I know this is not some automated system process, he manually did this. Overdraft fees are rarely automatically assessed to your account the same business day the overdraft occurred. He also practically shouted I had an overdraft so everyone in the bank could hear. In addition, my work checks are BofA checks and yet it regularly took them 3 business days to process them, whereas Redwood Credit Union releases the funds immediately because it is a payroll check. You can't even request temporary checks at BofA branches which is generally a standard service that banks offer. Also the UI of both Merrill Lynch and Bank of Americas website is atrocious. I have closed my account with them and will never bank at BofA again. There is a reason they are often rated the worst bank in America. Ironic given their name.

I don't understand how Bank of America stays open. 2 tellers, 17 people in line and more than 1/2 the other bank of America's in the tea have been closed for months. Why would anybody want to bank here. I'm pulling my money out and am done with you guys

The drive through ATM took my checks and didn’t give me proof of my deposit. When I waited to speak with the bank teller she/he/they told me to not use the advertised ATM anymore and to just have faith that I’ll get my money within 10 business days.

Traded in a bunch of coins for cash here, the teller was nice. Waited in line for like 20 minutes though

I needed to send an international wire yesterday, and the service was amazing! The 2 people that helped me were Gelareh and Teresa, both were so helpful and friendly, it reminded how banks use to be.

It's confusing why this location doesn't have a higher rating as each personal experience visiting this particular location has been great. Street parking can be a challenge especially during peak hours. But the staff are friendly, professional and quick.

Worst bank. Avoid at all costs! I have had awful experiences on multiple occasions. First incident, the teller was off by $1,000 when I was cashing multiple checks. I had to tell her to recount. Had I not calculated the total prior to handing her the checks I would've lost $1,000 due to the tellers error. Second, this location does not accommodate disabled people. Handicap entrance is locked and the accessible teller is not always available for disabled people. My most recent bad experience was with the manager Teresa, she is extremely rude and unprofessional. She gave me a fake number for her supervisor. I will be closing all of my accounts, and moving to another bank, and tell all of my friends and family to do the same. We have been with BofA for decades, and the repeated awful experiences are just not worth it anymore.

For more than 10 months Most every branch in town every town is closed! One bank only one is open at all in downtown San Rafael. I drove from 45 minutes away only to find bank hours for Saturday are 10-1pm! Ridiculous! Glad my primary bank is WellsFargo- they know customer service, B of A just terrible!

No one greets me and asks me the nature of my business. Stood in line for 29 min to see the teller only to be told that I need to see the banker. The wait for the banker is another hour. WTF?!!!! The service here is definitely without smile and lots of nasty attitude( not tellers- other staff) so if I have a choice in the future this is not the bank I would visit. Ok, I've calmed down. I was eventually taken care of and the banker was very nice actually and took care of me reasonably well. If I made any suggestions- I'd say she needs to look up the account and figure out who she is working with and get all the info before commenting on the fees. I suppose it's best to make an appointment next time. So, yes, it's a mixed review .

Every Bank of America has a wait. It doesn't matter what day and time it is... but this location has the longest wait I've ever experienced, pre covid and during. I always wondered why, considering the profit and reputation they have over other banks. They have two tellers... and 4 other random bankers sitting in offices alone. Are those people totally above assisting the tellers, or something? With very obvious down time on their hands, they should be trying to shrink the line of about 15 people. Unfortunately my landlord requests that I deposit rent into her acct via check... otherwise I would never come here. I bank with Chase and Union Bank and have never experienced 45 minute wait times. This is truly mind boggling.

10 people in line to make payments and get cash during a pandemic. ONE CASHIER WORKING! The worst customer service ever!!!
