I would wholeheartedly recommend Ahmed’s Moving Express! Their crew showed up right on time and were ready to work. Hustled the whole day (in the heat) and wrapped up everything. Even pointed out some wonky Ikea furniture that already had damage on it to let me know it was there and might be an issue. Made you feel good about the move and getting your money’s worth. 5 stars.

World class movers. If there was a professional moving league, these guys would win back to back to back championships.
I've moved many times, often with expensive movers - it's always been dreadful and unpleasant. Kevin and his squad did an A+ job, took care of our stuff like it was their own, had a positive attitude, and charged a fair price. If I ever move again, I'll 100% use Ahmed's.

You should read my review of Ahmed's because you want to choose a professional moving and storage company. My business and my family have relied on Ahmed's Moving and Storage since 1997. We build houses and stage houses, and we know what it takes to depend upon a moving company. Twenty-five (25) years of moving and packing, storing, and retrieving, are you ready for this review? In all that time, cross-country moves, and Bay Area moves, we've had only one minor glitch - ultimately, that was my fault! Thankfully, they are very competitively priced. Even if they were a bit more than another random company, I'd choose Ahmed's. Moving is stressful, and I'd rather have a company I trust and who I know will take care of the details. Over the years, we estimate they've done at least 100 packing, move and storage jobs for us. No hyperbole. This small company is a huge asset to our family and business. I've referred them more times than I can count, and no one uses any other company after working once with Ahmed's. Why? In short, they show up with the expertise and professionalism to make small jobs easy and fun, and on large complex moves, they have excellent planning and team members who care about their work. They show up with EXPERTISE, professionalism, and organizational skills you didn't know you needed. They're as concerned about the quality of their own work as you are about the smooth execution of your move. To have a #1 moving and storage company for over 25 years, you must care about your clients - AND your employees. Many of Ahmed's team have worked there for 15+ years. That alone says a lot. They are trained well and have deeply experienced leadership on every job. In the field, they are inventive to solve tough issues and have the tools to handle any job. Javier is the moving and storage crew's overall leader, and you're lucky to have him on your job. Request him! Sherry Julin runs their front office and has built their customer service organization and values. She has a team that considers every job detail and communicates with their clients responsively and always ahead of time! Their storage warehouses are impeccable. I can't tell you how many times I've called Sherry to ask about a particular piece of furniture, and within a day or so, it's delivered. We've sent them out on jobs and not been present - because we know they will figure out the best way to handle a request. You will not find anyone better in big jobs, small jobs, or having a relationship where Ahmed's helps you manage the in-and-out of items in storage.

Fantastic and friendly service - from the intitial contact, the planning and to finally the moving day. Our three men team was wonderful to work with - respectful, efficient and careful. We moved out of a three floor townhouse with very narrow staircases and they did an amazing job to maneuver our heavy furniture. Paid conveniently with a check. Highly recommend!

How do I leave six stars!? My experience with Ahmed's Moving was absolutely outstanding. Bob in the office was super informative, friendly, helpful, and patient with all my questions. The virtual estimate process with Tom was efficient, and he had a great sense of humor. The team who helped pack (Christopher and Daniel) and move (Brian, Daniel, Donald, and Mario) exceeded all previous moving experiences and expectations. Items were packed with great care, furniture was disassembled and reassembled perfectly, and not a single item was missing or broken. They also placed protective film on the carpet, and blankets on the hardwood in the new place to keep the floor pristine. This is my first move within NorCal (I've had four moves within SoCal, and one move from SoCal to NorCal), and I found the pricing to be extremely reasonable.

I’ve moved a lot and never experienced the level of professionalism and chill that these guys have. They were highly recommended to me and I can’t recommend them enough to you. They always answer the phone, patiently answer any question you throw at them, and make you feel taken care of through the process.

We hired Ahmed's moving to shift our office and warehouse from San Rafael to Novato. We had 10 years of tools, ladders and stock materials built up that needed to be relocated. We also had desks, file cabinets and other furniture. Bob's team showed up early and in 2 hours had our entire warehouse packed up and loaded on the truck. They met us at our new office location and carefully unloaded all of our equipment and furniture. They made moving much less stressful with their professional team. They provided great value for their skills.

Bob in the front office was a pleasure to mwwt. He set up our move from West Marin to San Francisco in a very professional way. The movers, Abel and Daniel arrived on time and did a fantastic moving job. They were qjuick,thorough and a delight to work with. What a great team!! Highly recommended on every count..
