I do appreciate the service that Allstate itself as insurance has provided thru the years of service I have been with themWhat I do not appreciate is the condescending tone that "Shelly" or "Shirley" has. As cheery as she might sound, questioning anything about your policy or payment information, her condescending tone comes. You do not hang up on a customer only bc you have others waiting. You ask to be put on hold or offer to call back. There is no time frame with any update claim with them or communication when you have issues. I have not had a single receipt of my motorcycle insurance payments. With an excuse that their system does not let them send one. Updated information on my policy has not been changed since my last update of policy of almost 1yr ago. Updating still needs confirmation of Agency. Claims/ re payments also with no time frame or update for over 1 year. It is incredible to have a front receptionist with the attitude change that the lady has putting up a front. I always try to be courteous and respectful bc I wish the same to me. Do not talk down to someone when your job is to help out customers, provide solutions. Help your attitude and assist. This has been the only person I have spoken with in almost 3 years apart from the gentleman I acquired the policy.

Greg Barquero from Lazar's agency goes the extra mile. Incredibly prompt, practical and has his client's best interests in mind. For Allstate products, he's helped us seamlessly navigate the process, including claims. Even when Allstate can't provide coverage (or sufficient coverage), he's helped us find/compare/bind other insurers.

No insurance experience is perfect but we've had Allstate coverage though this office for auto and property for MANY years and have had consistently good experience with them. That includes dealing with many policy changes, response to accident claims and property damage, legal backup and consolidating policies for better value. Lilliana is particularly friendly and efficient figuring out things on the phone. Just wanted to commend them for giving us good service for a long time!

I had a terrible experience with this office. Allstate charged me for an auto and renters policy. A month later I received a letter from the DMV requesting proof of insurance and I immediately contacted their office. The woman who answered the phone told me the documents had not been signed. I had e-signed the documents that were sent to me but apparently that was just for the renter's insurance and had no idea there were outstanding documents for my auto. No one had ever contacted me. I emailed the signed documents to her within the hour and sent the DMV the policy number from my temporary insurance card. I was charged again a couple weeks late so I thought all was good. The same day the charge went through I got a call from this office saying they wanted to sign me up for auto insurance. When I stated that I already had auto coverage they said my policy had been canceled for incomplete documents. After I questioned them, they admitted that I had sent the signed documents but that they hadn't been processed. I told them the DMV had contacted me for proof of insurance and I had given them the policy number from the temporary insurance card. They assured me that I was insured through the month and that the DMV would know that. Shortly thereafter the DMV suspended my registration and told me that the policy number was not valid. I contacted them - they asked for my registration but never responded to my multiple requests for a valid policy number. I have filed a claim with the California Insurance Commissioner for a full refund. I don't think I was ever insured though they have kept my money. I shudder to think what would have happened if I'd been in an accident.

Adam has always returned my calls promptly and with a friendly manner. If I wasn't sure about something in my policy he explained it to me in simple concise terms and then talked with me about the best way to proceed. At one point I was caught in a main office loop from " hello" Adam stepped in and stopped the madness. He works for Allstate, but your his client.
