We started to use help to prepare our taxes this year for this first time. During the data collection process, George was professional and responsive. The process took roughly as long as expected. We however ended being disappointed with the outcome. I was handed over all the files for the return when we were supposed to meet to "review" the return together. Instead, it was a one-way conversation with few opportunities to ask questions and certainly no time to review. At the end of this meeting, I was asked to pay for the services. After I took home all the return and reviewed it in more details, I had several questions, which I detailed in multiple emails to Van Buren and Associates. I sent 5 emails with no response. I called as well and left messages to no avail. I eventually gave up and will have my tax return amended by a different specialist. This experience was overall disappointing.
