Too bad to see some bummer reviews about this Rite Aid because my experiences with this store and even more so with the pharmacy (particularly with the staff) have been unmatched in terms of absolutely wonderful. This is the best pharmacy I have ever been to. Absolutely have to mention the staff members at the pharmacy Keilon and Ernesto. They both (but especially Keilon who has happened to be there during most of my visits!) have gone above and beyond to assist me with insurance/ medical challenges multiple times. As someone who lives with a disability, having pharmacists and pharmacy staff members that have your back and know you by name (in a good way) makes all the difference in a country with a less than perfect healthcare system. I hope so much that this can be my permanent pharmacy for many many years. In general, this rite aid is quite clean and nice and the other staff members have been very nice as well. They are conveniently located in a great shopping center with a nice starbucks and a huge Albertsons amongst other business. Thanks again to the wonder staff here. I cannot emphasize enough how kind, patient, and helpful they ALL are.

It's time for this place to just close. The website and app are a ridiculous joke that never work. I spent 2 full hrs trying to put in my insurance info and it does not work as they ask for numbers that do not exist on my insurance card so it won't take it. Btw They have had my insurance info for 15 years yet the site does not save it so you painstakingly have to reinter it along with your birthday 100 times each time you need something. The website repeatedly asks for my address which they have had going on 25 years now. Right after you put it in it asks again. Isn't that the purpose of creating an acct ONCE so you don't have to put in your number 10000000 times?! On the phone and on text they tell me my medicines are ready but when you get there they are not and they wait on people that came way behind you first. If you make an appt for a vaccine they are an hour late and you made an appt! Several times I had done all the pre questions on line and they made me redo them in person wasting time and trees even though I told them I had an appt. And did all the paperwork. When you have an appt they should be ready for you and they act surprised you are there. The web site sent me a dead link today too. It said " click this to fill out your insurance info" and I did and the link was dead. They text you too much saying things are ready and they are not and are constantly requiring extra codes to sign in which is plain stupid. They don't cover medicines that other pharmacists do. Once they tried to give me a diff dose wanting me to cut the meds in half because they did not have the correct dose. I'm just done. Will be transferring my scripts and 2 family members to another place that has a working app, website and working pharmacy. They suck. Hope they close.

The folks here at the pharmacy are always very helpful and attentive. I have been coming here for many years and will continue to do so. Excellent customer service and very helpful. I recommend this pharmacy and store 100%.

Set up a COVID vaccine (have had other CIVID and flu vaccines there). They came back to me and said my insurance (same one I've always had) won't cover the vaccine cost, so they won't be able to give it to me. I asked the cost out of pocket and it was $190. I left, got in my car and went to a different pharmacy company (not RiteAid). I asked if my insurance would cover a COVID vaccine, they took a couple minutes and said everything is fine. I got my vaccine. I don't know what game this RiteAid is playing, but I recommend going elsewhere.

Let me preface this by saying, I currently have covid-19 and am running a 102 fever.I had a prescription dropped off last night and my wife went to pick it up. They told my wife the prescription was out of stock and directed her to another rite-aid pharmacy. unfortunately it was closing time so we were unable to pick up the prescription.Now today -- I called in this morning to ask this rite-aid location to find another location with this prescription in stock and to transfer it so that I can go pick it up.I spoke to the first lady and she put me on hold and then after 5 minutes told me that "Wilmington may have it". I said can you confirm and then send the prescription over there and I will send the wife to go pick it up. She said sure then put me on hold again. After 8 minutes the line was disconnected (idk if she hung up or if it was a bug but she didn't call me back either)I immediately called back, a different lady answered, she said can you hold we have 3 other people on the line. I said I already waited for 20 minutes I was working with the other lady and explained what happened to her. She then told me that wilmington location wasn't picking up. I asked her to find another rite-aid and move it there, doesn't really matter. She then hung up on me. (Clear hang up, could hear the phone slam down)Morale of the story, don't go to this pharmacy if you need medication or you are sick. They could not care less about you and are willing to hang up on a sick customer.

RITE AID IS THE BEST PLACE EVER TO SHOP ? @ BOTH THE STORE ? AND THE PHARMACY.THE ASSOCIATES ARE, FRIENDLY, KIND, PATIENCE AND PROFESSIONALS.SO, I RECOMMEND THIS RITE AID ON "WESTERN" IN "SAN PEDRO CITY" TO ANYONE, FAMILY ? AND FRIENDS TO SHOP ? I have been a customer of Rite Aid for over 20 years. Never have I dealt with the ineptitude of the Pharmacists and staff here. Aparently Rite Aid policies vary from store to store or whatever the Pharmacist or technician chooses to enforce or policies on a whim. I have one additional perscription to be filled and then I will take my 20 years of business to CVS. At least they have a drive through.

This was the Third time I arrived before closing time and door was locked. First instance I was told they lock up the doors early because employees need to leave on time. Second time, he let me in but rushed me out. This evening again door was locked. It was not 9 pm.. Robert took a few minutes to open the door and I said you locked the door before closing. His rude comment back to me was the HE did not do it. I said yes door was locked. I asked if I could grab something. He said No. WOW... it's such a shame that this rude behavior by a manager or at least someone with Keyes thinks that's is acceptable.

Great neighborhood pharmacy. The staff is friendly and professional. My prescriptions are filled fast.
