First time there referred by school, long waiting in line with only two customers in front of me. When finally was my turn the old lady told me “they can’t help me to put logos on my shirts because they are busy and I can go to the next shop”. Maybe because I don’t bought my polos there or racist.

Our daughter started a school require uniforms, specifically Norman’s. Their sizes are not consistent with regular sizes at department stores, sometimes being off by two sizes. Trying to return for the right size, I called the phone number and spoke to Nick. He was incredibly unpleasant and unprofessional, telling me to “lose my number” after our call. I was merely trying to return to get correct sizes and understand how their sizing worked.

Ordered uniforms for my daughter with the school logo on it. They charged me extra for the logo and the shirt came without it. They do not respond to you. I have emailed and called them multiple times to see how I can return it but they never get back to you. Horrible customer service and prices are too high for their uniforms.

1st time coming here, Came here To get my son's uniform due to that the school recommended me here. I asked some lady for help and she just said oh just go upstairs and she just walked away. The people working there are not knowledgeable. No customer service what so ever. Employees look tired run down, Not helpful at all. I will be calling my school to notify them and see if they can recommend me Elsewhere. They didn't have my son sizes. Very disappointed cause my school talked very highly about this place. I would have given them 0 stars but because I have to give some kind of stars to be able to post.

Poor customer service. If I had a choice I would not choose to buy from here. Their customer service is bad. I ordered a school shirt for my daughter but they didn't have it when they came to sell on campus. So they said they will order it and send it to school. School started and it's still not here. I called them over a week. I emailed them at least twice. I tried using chat system they have which is not working. No one is answering and voice mail box is full so apparently they are not checking messages!! I paid $20 for one shirt and they are not delivering it! It's a fraud. They took money and not delivering it!!!! Don't come here if you can avoid it. I wish I can. Maybe I need to tell the school to change vendor somewhere else. This is ridiculous.

Does anyone know if they are under new ownership? It used to be a great company but it's a nightmare now. I have placed 2 orders - one in April and one a few weeks ago - neither ever shipped. No one answers the phone - it's unnecessarily stressful and annoying. Many parents are furious and frustrated and we will be petitioning the Principal to change companies. This is ridiculous in the age of eCommerce to do business with such a careless and inefficient company. I would advise all other disgruntled parents to similarly petition your schools. We live in LA / Southern California - there are many apparel companies that would die for this level of business especially in this economy.

I came in last minute after a late school acceptance and was so thankful I was able to get what I needed for my daughter. Zuma was lovely and extremely helpful.

Man this place makes me scratch my head, how are they doing business?!! I didn't have a choice but to come here as the online orders I was told were backed up over a month and they don't pick up their phone (why list a phone number?). So I drive an hour there from OC and there is absolute chaos inside. Over three hours (5 including drive time) and lots of craziness later we got our uniform and got the you know what out of there.

The staff is super helpful, efficient and friendly. We were able to go into the store and quickly get what we needed for the new school year at BOLS. They engraved and stamped our kiddos clothes on the spot and they look perfect. My only request would be to have Norman's consider first responder discounts or teacher discounts (outside of being a teacher at the school your child goes to). I was bummed when the cashier told me they wouldn't offer a discount to a faculty member form USC. I've been coming to Normans since I was a child in Catholic school and now I'm bringing my children. A small discount for two generations of purchasing would've been amazing.

My daughter needed school uniforms and thankfully the school provided a list of places to go. Norman's was one of them on the list. I'd never been in this store and didn't realize it was right here on 6th street...as much as i've been on 6th. They have regular everyday clothes, in addition to uniforms, though most of the store is uniforms for various area schools. I was surprised how many schools they service in the area. I really liked that the uniforms for my daughter's school were already embossed with the logo and if there was something on the list that we wanted that wasn't embossed, they would do it for us. That was honestly a great feature that they offered. Anywhere else, you might have to wait for it, but here, they did it in a matter of minutes. I also liked that they had nicely embroidered sweatshirts with her school logo. They reminded me of the quality of my college sweatshirts. Zuma helped us as soon as we entered the store and really went the extra mile for us. She was super nice and helpful, as were all of the staff. I liked that they all worked together to make sure customers were taken care of. If Zuma went somewhere else, someone gladly stepped in and helped us. I know you're able to order online, but I'm old school... I like to see and feel things in real life. I was also glad to see that they have good extended hours, so you have time to make it there and get what you need. They had a good supply of uniforms, but I would suggest to get in there early to get what you need, because I would guess that it's mayhem the closer it gets to school starting.

My granddaughter attends a private school that requires that her uniforms are purchased at Norman's. We live in the Palm Springs area so we called ahead and told them what we needed. They had everything embroidered and ready to go for us.We were even allowed to try everything on to make sure it fit. We made a few exchanges with no problem. The staff was exceptionally helpful and very accommodating.
