It's unfortunate that they do not have immunizations available at the office, hence the reason I gave them one star less (4/5) but other than that, Dr. Shaw was very helpful, attentive and thorough. Maria was very helpful, as well. We would definitely recommend this office for anyone who needs an immigration physical or if needing a family practitioner.”

“I got very lucky as a walk-in patient. There were 4 walk-in customers in the queue ahead of me waiting for the facility to open. When they started letting customers in, they allowed the only customer with the first appointment to enter first. There were 3 check-in kiosks. The 4 people customers ahead of me went to the other 2 kiosks, while I followed the only customer with an appointment. Luckily, he knew the process, so his check-in was quick; and because I also am familiar with the self-check-in process when he finished, I simply checked-in making me the first walk-in the official queue, while the other 4 people who had been ahead of me where still trying to figure it out. I was seated for all of 5 minutes before my name was called to be seen. So, I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. My best time yet. As usual, the staff was friendly and professional.”

“I had been a faithful fan of Quest Diagnostics, in Rolling Hills Estates, until my last visit there, which was horrible. This LabCorp was wonderful, and the people there were very nice. I had to call my physician to have the lab order faxed in, but they waited and then saw me quickly after it arrived. This is my new go-to for all lab work. Really nice folks, good service, and easy to make an appointment.”

“Lately, I was having to go to multiple pharmacies to get my medication's. After going for more than a week without my medication, three different local pharmacies in San Pedro did not have the medication in stock there's a national shortage this pharmacy has been able to not only fill my prescriptions, but also has great customer service and knowledgeable pharmacists, who have explained meds and even asked me about possible different interactions. I have one medication that I'm taking temporarily, where you cannot eat certain things it will have a bad reaction. I was so happy she told me to wait a day because I had actually eaten some of the foods that cause stomach upset with that medication five star customer service and five stars for having items in stock. It says compounding I think they make medication there. They also do many other services that are listed when you enter the property, it's located inside a medical building parking is super convenient. It's worth the drive to get all my medication at one place instead of driving to multiple pharmacies also, they have some very cool hospital. Type gift shop stuff. I bought a cute Kitty cat that looks like the one we have at home.”

He knew the exact requirements for my country. Did the test at 9:00 am, received the results at 3:00 pm. It was really fast. Will totally recommend this lab.”

“It’s best if you set up a appointment if you don’t you will wait hours I once waited 2 hours, I set up a appointment using a paper with a Qvr code that a nurse gave me then I used my phone camera on the Qvr code then it opened the Quest website I registered a account then I set up my first appointment. Later on my appointment day I used the kiosk to check in with my health insurance card .”

“Quest's system of self checkin is great if everything works well, but it would not take my state issued driver's license as ID and I couldn't check in. There is no staff available, such as a receptionist, so no one to help if your system doesn't work. I had to stand on my feet for a long time and catch one of the technicians who came out to get another patient. She couldn't make it work either but they scheduled me anyway. Quest should have a real live person to help patients, many of whom don't feel well, if there is a problem or a question.”

The lady the owner is really nice and goes out of her way to make sure everything is according to procedure. Shes not mean shes just straight up and doesnt sugar coat anything. All around i like this facility ive drug tested here several times and its always fast and easy. No long waits like other facilities.”

“Very straightforward process for the DOT. Go in tell them you need to take the dot exam, pay, wait for your name to be called, they call you in, exam takes about 10 to 15 minutes. I have no complaints”

“After calling various LabCorp facilities which sent me to voicemail(Downey and Los Angeles), Natalie picked up the phone and informed me they were taking walk ins until 3:15. I rushed over and made it by 2:50. The staff were quick and professional, I maybe spend 15-20 mins. My technician was Natalie who was very nice and professional. I miss the times in which the communication was not automated and you actually speak to people. Great place to come get your labs drawn!”
“So quick & painless, or as painless as a blood draw can be! This Draw Station is located in the Torrance Memorial Specialty Center, just down the street from Torrance Memorial Hospital. Parking is plentiful, although you might have to walk a little ways. Like other lab places, it seems to mostly be a one person operation. The one lady takes care of everything, paperwork & lab work. If it is busy, be patient. You have to take your chances when you come here because they do not offer appointments. It is strictly a walk-in place. *** Be sure to find the sign-in sheet and sign-in. It is located on the right side of the 2 desks. You are helped in the order you sign in. The lady who did my blood draw did the best job. She found my vein efficiently and was able to get what she needed on the first attempt. Not only that, my arm did not bruise at all. I usually have 2 attempts and am left to bruise later on. I will definitely come back next time and I hope she will be working!! It's great to have a person who knows how to find hard to find veins!!”
