“Despite all the negative reviews, I decided to take a chance at this location and made a post-cruise reservation for a vehicle (one week rental and returning it to LAX) as it was much cheaper than other options (including taking the shuttle to LAX and picking up a rental car there). It was an easy 20 minute walk from the Princess ship to the counter. Reservation was for 8:30am and we got there at 9:00. There was only one agent on duty but only one person in line in front of me and no one came in after during the time I was there. Had to wait only a few minutes to be served and my reservation was there on the printout list for the day (along with about 10 others). I had booked the “Manager’s Special” which said it would be a compact or electric and it ended up being a Ford Edge (for the same discounted rate). No issues at all with availability of the vehicle and the agent got the keys for me right away. We were on our way within 10 minutes. So hopefully the past issues seem to have been corrected at the location now and I would not hesitate to recommend.”

“Recently, I was in a car accident bad enough that I needed to rent a car. I had never rented a car in my life and I was especially nervous about it. Thankfully, I went to this Enterprise location.Happy to say I had a fantastic experience here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Caesar, who helped me all the way through, was awesome and outstandingly accommodating. When a small issue with the first car I rented came up, he immediately moved me on to a better car. And my return of the rental was smoothly completed. From beginning to end, I only have great things to talk about here!A solid 5 stars!!!”

“My first but not the last time going here.I had a very positive experience renting a car on short notice because my personal car had to stay in the auto shop over night. I was picked up at the Honda service dealer and got a rental the same day for a compact suv. The rental agent was very knowledgeable and customer service was great.The other rental agent who picked me up was cordial and informative as well. At the last moment, when my car was ready for pick up just 7 minutes before closing, they offered me a ride back to theHonda service center to get my car before it stayed overnight. The rental agents would have to stay a little over their schedule shift yo accommodate me. This was service above and beyond my expectation as I felt that I would have most likely have to call Uber to help me out.”

“The day before I was supposed to return my car rental I received notification from the airline that due to bad weather i ad to change my flight. I tried to contact Enterprise at the Downtown Long Beach but they were closed. I called customer service and I was told that the offices were closed and that I had to wait until the next day at 8am to speak with someone. Customer service also told me that there would be a fee to drop the car off at a different location and they couldn’t provide the fee because they did not know. Well, my flight departure was changed to 9:05 am boarding at 8:35am and I couldn’t wait. I was disappointed that Enterprise did not have something in place to assist its customers after hours. So, I emailed the CEO, President and VP the next morning and I never received a reply. I then decided I would return the car to the Enterprise at Long Beach airport and I shared with Karen Mason at Enterprise what happened and she accepted the car and waived the fee. Thank you Karen Mason for allowing me to return my rental and waiving the fee. It’s people like you Ms. Mason that make the world a better place.”

“Not sure why this place has any reviews less than than five stars. I have rented from this particular location at least six times and every time each visit outdoes the previous one. From their great customer service to their pre-pickup confirmation they are always on top of it. If I've ever had any issues they have addressed them right away. This last time I went in to pick up my full size sedan and the previous person had stated some sort of issue with the vehicle I was slated to pick up. They immediately notified me and upgraded me to the next vehicle size up free of charge. During this same visit I was running late on the return that was supposed to be done by noon and I called and let them know I was running late and let them know I wouldn't be able to be there by any earlier than 3pm and they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend this location to everyone I know.”

“Update on below. Avis responded and resolved the issues. Everyone makes mistakes (companies too) and if they fix them, i'm ok with it. They did.Avis is terrible. Didn't have the car i reserved. Wouldn't give me refund for lesser car. charged me for fuel AFTER i had just filled it up before dropping off. Literally got the fuel surcharge on my e-receipt 1 minute after dropping car off. They didin't even check it!Automatically charged it to make more money i guess....”

“I'm not sure why this location doesn't have rockstar ratings... EVERY time I go here I have a good experience. And I've rented from here numerous times in the last 8 months. The staff are friendly, quick to provide customer services, the cars are in good condition (and ready for pick up) and it's always such a pleasant experience. I switched to this location after having terrible experiences at SNA and LAX Hertz locations (we are talking like 2+hour waits an/or no cars available, and no reimbursement for expenses related to those Hertz issues). So this location is a true blessing. Friendly, timely, and the employees go above and beyond here.”

“Highly recommend this place!!I've lived here for almost a year now and I don't see myself moving out any time soon. Kenneth is very easy to communicate with over text, which I really like, but there are plenty of ways to get in touch or submit maintenance requests. When I viewed the apartment, I had to apply quick because these apartments get rented up so quick since they are so nice for the price. The application process was online and made me feel really comfortable about giving my security deposit and information. I also got to meet his dog which was awesome! Move in was so easy. It's way more affordable than anywhere in the area, you get an assigned gated parking spot, and there is not a single time of day that you don't find street parking. There's a pool, jacuzzi, gym, laundry, pool tables. Amazon and other deliveries never have an issue getting delivered. There are cute little restaurants, bars, and a brewery in walking distance, and tons more within a 2 mile radius. It's very dog friendly, and I feel safe walking my dog any time of day or night in this neighborhood. My studio is almost like a 1 bedroom without a door, so there is still some privacy. In the time I've been here, Kenneth has made huge improvements, including redoing our parking lot, which is huge!There's an amazing view of the sunset over the Palos Verdes hills from the back of these apartments, and not a far drive to hiking right over those hills right on the ocean.”

“So I saw there were a lot of bad reviews but I had a great experience. I rented a compact SUV through my AAA but when I got there they didn't have any. I was upgraded to a nicer SUV at no additional charge. The counter is in the hotel but it's very easy to find. I was in and out in about 10 mins and the agent at the front desk was very helpful. Even drop off was convenient and left the keys with the Hertz agent on the 1st floor of the parking structure. ISince the hertz is in the hotel, you can actually drop off the vehicle after hours or on Sunday and drop the keys in the drop box at the counter. I would definitely rent from this location again.”
