This is for mainly the lifeline and ACP customers. You need to know that this boost as well as the one near lomita blvd is scamming you, seriously. So a couple weeks ago we wake up to find our service was stopped. We call ACP and get verifacation that we are still enrolled so we get to wondering. They told us as they do that w have to go to the store site to apply, but since we werent cut that shouldnt be needed. We go into the store and the manager guy is there to help us. He informs us that it will be 30 dollars to keep our number or that we can pay 60 to get a new phone and number. Now understand this is after we already have the emails and texts from boost and ACP that this isnt the case. We get free phones and the credit per month for our services. So we say ok play it off like we dont kow hes trying to scam us and go home. Again we contact the agencys and boost to confirm whatwe already know and been told for double evidence that we arent supposed to pay. TOday we went to the store in lomita to see if its any different, and there for soem reason its 35 to sign up(illegal) and then when we questioned it the girl there got flat hostile and told us it was a franchise business and that was thier policy. She didnt seem to care that corporate policy overrides this as the business franchise uses Boost logos and stuff to sell thier product and so must follow thier rules. But for the masses you are not supposed to pay for service. You will only lose the program if acp or lifeline sends you a recert and you miss it or dont qualify. We got skipped one year and cut the next(not how govt reups work, if anything we all know the govt loves thier paperwork and proof you are who you are, so its unlikely that the govt will let you "slipthru the cracks as that store manager said). I plan on filing an lawsuit aginst them for lost wages and fraud. If any of you want in on it then please keep an eye iout for mention of it or ill post on the "forgotten and the poor" facebook site when its ready. Boost is scamming the poor simply because most poor people dont have the resources or willpower to fight this sort of thing. I do. I went to the police to file a report but this is bigger than they can handle, they did suggest a route i may take as they agree that this sounds very fishy. For one if it was corporate policy to charge us, then the charge would be the same all across the board, we got told 30 at one place and 35 at the other, that doesnt line up. The degree of hostility the girl showed when i questioned it shows that she seems to be guilty and knows what thier doing is wrong, " He that doth protest the loudest is usually the most guilty" and all. And couple that with the fact the girl told us that since it was a "franchise" store they could charge what they want. (not true, look up franchise laws on your own.) Be warned going into this place as they smile and act like they are doing you a favor all the while skimming our already limited resources just for personal gain, you know guys thats downright evil.

Just rude. Makes his money by charging for items Boost mobile will give you for free. Go to the 1st street store. They are at least nice there.
