Husband and I came into the 10th and Pacific branch in San Pedro to do a wire transfer. I informed the gentleman manning the welcome desk, Josh, what we were there for. He began to ask me do I have all of the information regarding where the money is going to, etc. I stated that I have it in my phone, but that it should be in the computer already because we had done the same transaction to the same entity just the month before. He informed us that the information is not in the computer and that it would have to be re-entered so I was going to have to write down the account number, wiring instructions address, and ABA routing number, giving the reasoning it's easier for the representative and they didn't want to have the employees touching our phone. We reiterated that we had done this same transaction last month, but he insisted I write the information so I did. Josh's tone during most of this encounter, was a little condescending, We were informed that we would have to wait which was fine. About 15 minutes transpired, and we had noticed that one of the two agents who were occupied with clients in the cubicles had completed the work he was doing with a client and then left. A few people had come in and gotten into the line. At that point, I decided to ask Josh who was still manning the 'welcome desk' how much longer it would be before we are assisted. He began to explain that they had just allowed a lady to go into the safe deposit area, but it would only take a couple of minutes to sign her in. I then asked him, "Did she come in after we did?" He replied, "yes she did, but it's only going to take a couple of minutes." As I was about to respond to what he just said, a female employee, Jearem Campos, came up quickly and began to explain that she would be helping us, but she had gone to sign in the other customer who'd just come in because it would only take a "couple of minutes" for her to do that and our transaction was going to take " at least 30 minutes.". I went ahead and sat down in the cubicle with her and began to explain the error of her ways by informing her that we have been sitting for 15 minutes and for her to take an extra two minutes to assist someone ahead of us who had just come in was inappropriate and unprofessional. She felt that the service we were going to be rendered would take about 1/2 hour, which it shouldn't have by any means. When we came into this branch last month for the same transaction, it took 10 minutes. Regardless of the length of time needed for our transaction, my husband and I were there first, and we were never asked if we would mind waiting the extra couple of minutes. She began to give excuses which included, they were being audited that day, and had to have that welcome desk manned at all times. I still have no idea what that had to do with us having to wait for someone else to get serviced ahead of us that wasn't there when we came. I will say that she was very sweet, and I could tell that she absolutely knew we were upset, so she was very "chatty" to try to de-escalate the situation. My husband, nor I, were ever rude to either employee. We received an apology for the wait, but not for the fact that someone was taken in ahead of us. Really interesting is the fact that this behavior occurred while the bank was being audited. Go figure.

Bank of America will not allow people to withdrawal more than $3000 of their own money per day! This seems illegal to me! I will never use this bank after I get all my money out! Chase is much better!!!!

I work as a realtor and I have a client who was attempting to get a home loan for a mobile home through one of the agents that works in the finance arm, Brian. I have called and left a note for him to call me as well as scheduled a formal phone appointment with him and have not heard a word from Brian or anyone at the bank since. I have called 4 times on two different days during open hours to try and get ahold of someone to reschedule another appointment, but my calls are not even answered. This is why I don't recommend any of my clients obtain financing through a bank and I am really disappointed in the lack of customer service and attention here.

Had to come to this BofA for work because the one closest to me had the tellers closed. One teller open, 11 people in line. Been standing here 10 minutes already and I am 8th in line. This is why I do not do any of my personal, private banking with Bank of America. They literally should all be closed down.

Terrible branch. Only have 1 or 2 tellers and a huge line. Please do not come here. You will wait in line forever. This center needs to be closed down thats that Terrible.

Bank of America in San Pedro. Parking is big Place closes early seems like. Atm wasbeasy to get to but I wish they had someone to wipe them down. Seems still scary to touch but I was in and out. Looking at the bank you can see a lot of people come here. Should switch bank the hours now that more and more people are starting to come out and do shopping . B

The line here is always incredibly long and there is no sense of urgency to get the line to go faster. Even with 10 people in line they WILL NOT open another window. Avoid this location at all cost.

This branch is the worst. No matter the time of day, no matter how busy it gets, the line can be through the branch and out the door there is NEVER more than 2 tellers working. But excess staff in the building and the same, presumably manager trying to look busy - while the line is OUT the door! So poorly managed and operated. Save yourself the extra 30-45 minutes (no exaggeration) and go to a different location.

Hate, hate, hate having to visit this branch! The manager is clueless and just brushes you off to call customer service. How can you be a manager and not know how to reach out to a particular BofA department and tell the customer it doesn't exist, when I already spoke to the that department that same morning!? Problem was that I had to sit on hold for over 45 minutes, then got disconnected when the department attempted to transfer me to those that handle Zelle transfers. Silly me, I thought that since I pay a monthly service fee for my checking account, I might be able to get some service from my branch? So what is the service fee for again?Save yourself a lot of headache and go to a different branch, or just run from BofA and find another bank altogether.

Amazing service professionalism and KINDNESS! These employees have really given their best during Covid-19. The security guard passed out cold waters and umbrellas to Ppl standing in line and offered seats to ppl who couldn't stand. Many of us cannot visit our home banks and it's just nice to see the community pull together. Well done! Fast lines too

This is by far the slowest bank of America I have ever been to, my average wait is at least 40 min's. The staff is nice but is really understaffed especially on Fridays when most people get paid. The lines to wait are ridiculously long due to not having enough teller help. The only reason I go to this bank is cause of distance all others are way to far.

Worse bank ever!!!!!! And the manager DEANAA GARCIA HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. You would think this bank wants to help their customers and give them the best experience but you get the opposite with this bank. I wish I can give zero stars. Don't open a bank account with them!
