“I’ve just gone through the first part of the moving process, packing and picking up my belongings and furniture. The process was very smooth, from the time I requested a quote and until the moving crew arrived. I received guidance from Drew and Amy, they responded to my questions and guided me on things I didn’t know about this process. I received an email the day before my move date to confirm the date and to let me know the time when the crew would be arriving. They took care of the parking permit with the city, which was a relief. They posted the parking permit 3 days before the move date. When the moving crew arrived, everything was smooth and straightforward. Enrique, Adam, and Eddy really know what they are doing. They handled all my belongings and furniture with care and made sure everything was properly labeled and arranged to unpack easily. Everything has been transparent and straightforward until now. Dennis and Matt Crudo sent photos and updates re the restoration and welcomed a visit to see the process in action. Incredible care was taken with every detail by musicians and technicians who are extremely skilled. The fully restored piano now plays beautifully. Great care and attention to detail was also given to the external cabinet's restoration. And all at a very fair and reasonable cost! We highly recommend DC Piano.”

They worked efficiently, carefully, and diligently to remove every item from my home that has been occupied for the last 45 years. They took care of the runs to the dump, and they left the home 'broom swept, cleaned out.'If you're lucky, when Dennis comes to do the initial estimate, you might be graced with the presence of the single cutest 4-year-old on the planet, his son. Don't mind him as he makes pillow forts out of your throw pillows.This could have been a long, drawn-out process if I used a more traditional estate sale liquidator, but I would have had to work around their schedules. Not the case with Dennis. His timing is not hamstrung like those folks because his task is a simple estate liquidation. It may have been simple for me, but the crew at Lulu's literally did all the heavy lifting and so much more.The contract here was a big one, and Dennis, Lulu's, and his squad were up for the task. Job well done.”
“We moved out of our home of 40 years, and Foster Van Lines was great from first phone call to delivery of our stuff to a storage unit across the country. We have not opened all the boxes, but everything we have seen so far has been in fine shape. David Lane was our point person for the move, and he was tremendously helpful. He took the time to talk us through how the moving process works, things we need to be aware of, potential issues, what to plan for, etc. We are very grateful for the generous sharing of his time and knowledge. Knowing what to expect and the things we could do to prepare was enormously helpful.A cross-country move is very expensive, and David's estimate was both reasonable and came extraordinarily close to the actual cost.Moving is exhausting and emotional, and David and all his workers were sensitive and professional in their dealings with us. The packers came on time, worked hard, and at the same time were kind and respectful of the fact that they were handling our stuff and taking apart our home. The only (very small) complaints I have were that someone packed away our checkbook, which turned out to be less of a problem than you might think. Also, a few items were left behind because neither my husband nor I were able to focus on inspecting the property at the end of the day, and we don't remember being asked to do so. We've arranged for the items to be picked up, so it's OK. Nothing valuable was left.Our driver, Elvis, was responsive, helpful and kind. He called us a few days before the move and kept in touch with us throughout. He was very professional and considerate and we worked together to get the truck into the storage facility and parked as close as possible to the unit. His workers were careful with our stuff and worked hard to arrange things in the unit so they would not get crushed or damaged and while maximizing our access. They were just as professional and pleasant as the packing crew across the country.I am so impressed with everyone we worked with on this move!”

Oakland“Last week I hired One Big Man and One Big Truck to move me from San Francisco to Santa Rosa. It took to days, with two trucks each day, and five moving men to accomplish the move. Yes, I had a great deal of stuff to move. The team showed up on time...to the minute...and quickly filled the trucks with my belongings. They were careful with everything, and after we unpacked at our new location, nothing was broken or damaged. Pretty amazing. The office management team kept in touch with me throughout the day to be apprised of the progress of the move. The working team only took a half hour off for lunch in the middle of the day, and then they were back to work. They were efficient, friendly and helpful. Quite an amazing team, and moving company. I've worked with One Big Man and One Big Truck for office and home moves for more than 20 years. They are just great people to do business with, and always have come through for me.
