The facility was well maintained. The property was very clean. The rooms were nice. The breakfast had a great assortment. The staff was friendly and very helpful.Rooms: Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows.

This is a great hotel.The bed was comfortable, and there were 2 firm pillows and 2 soft pillows on each bed and “firm” and “soft” were embroidered on the pillow cases to help you quickly identify the one you want.The bathroom was clean, well stocked, and the shower had good water pressure.The morning breakfast was excellent. You’d pay at least $20 in any diner for it.I had a room with a window facing the highway and still heard very little traffic noise. The hotel itself was pretty quiet and the other guests were friendly and respectful.The staff was friendly and efficient. I asked for extra blankets and K-cups. They have coffee and tea available all day.The room had a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave.I highly recommend it.

Rooms: Rooms ok walls paper thinI was on the second floor. First night, I could smell that someone was smoking pot. The second night, it sounded like a 600-pound silver back gorilla was on the third floor, swing from the light fixtures and jumping up and down on the bed.Walkability: Great restaurants within walking distance

I stayed for two nights. Great place. Consider if you are going for graduation ceremonies around this area; especially for Berkeley. It is a little cheaper compared to the other hotels near Oakland, but still very accessible to the campus.The hotel rooms are larger than some of the other holiday expresses that I have been to.Even though it was next to the highway, I didn’t hear any noise in my room. There are plenty of restaurants near here here and right next to a Taco Bell, Denny’s which is really nice. there’s an outdoor gazebo and a sauna as well inside the gym. I thought this was great but didn’t have time to use the facilities.Fantastic staff. The breakfast crew forgetting me coffee at 5:30 in the morning when I needed to have an early start. appreciate that.

Dated hotel with not many amenities. During the night you’ll likely hear the multiple turkeys around the property. A small nice courtyard to relax and nice when the sun was shining.I usually stay in Holiday Inn Express and was expecting more of this property.it just needs to be updated and cleaned thoroughlyOur room key would not work. We had to go to the front desk five different times to have them activate it and we did not have it near anything magnetic. They apparently kept dating it wrong so frustrating.Front desk staff was friendly though and breakfast has multiple options and pretty good ! The

The hotel is a typical hotel with typical amenities. There was nothing to set it apart from the countless others. I almost left before I even checked in due to the rudeness and the nasty attitude of the desk clerk. Thankfully, she was the only person who behaved so badly.

From the hallway outside my room I started smelling urine and the smell just got worse inside. Wet spots on the floor, the furniture, and mold all over the bathroom. What appears to be blood and feces on the wall in the bathroom as well. This place needs to be shut down and is a biohazard nightmare. Don’t stay here.

They have a sauna...which is why I stay there occasionally. Great breakfast. Very clean and fresh feeling enviornment. Friendly people at the counter. They don't watch you or harass you. Love this place.Rooms: Clean, fresh, and comfortable.
