As a first time lehenga shopper, they were very helpful and patient - not to mention they turned around some small alterations within 30 mins of purchasing (I got lucky that their seamstress was in on a day she wasn’t supposed to be, but regardless the customer service is unmatched!). Definitely check them out if you need to do some last minute shopping.”

“Julie at Maple Street Denim is incredible at determining fit and talking through differences between the denim brands and designs that her store carries. I found a pair of denim that was perfect for me and my first pair of selvedge! In love with the fit -- definitely trust Julie to help you find a size that works. Maybe due to modern vanity sizing, but I had to go 2-3 sizes down from my normal denim. I'll be back for repairs for my well-loved pairs :)”

“Quest is a great store! We visit Sausalito a few times per year and always make a point to shop there. it is so important to support SMALL businesses who managed to stay open during the pandemic. The owner has always been respectful, kind and very helpful. We have been shopping there for over 8 years without one incident. I highly recommend visiting Quest!!!”
“The selection of gifts are vibrant, uniquely designed, and thoughtfully curated. I appreciated how the store owner allowed me to pair and match various baskets even though they were filled with inventory. I was able to pick up last-minute Christmas presents from Nepal, Kenya and India. If you are looking to add more color or geometric designs to your household, there's a drool-worthy section of constellation-inspired houseware (like salt cellars with stars on them) and beautiful basket planters all over the shop.”
“I love this shop. It's so unique and well laid out - with amazing, high quality, special/beautiful items, such as clothing - all displayed beautifully, and appealingly. I've bought indigo jeans there, T-shirts with cool designs, as well as fragrances. These purchases will last.I have always gotten so much thoughtful, positive guidance from staffperson Frances. She knows the products, and has helped me each time to find the right thing for me. “You can tell everything in this store was perfectly curated and picked! It's got a lot of heart, price ranges from low to high but that's reasonable considering they have smaller, local brands. There is jewelry, clothing, handbags and lots of fun pieces to keep your eyes busy. I wanted every piece in the store! I'll be back.”
“these guys are very cool and their reasonable with the returns. I had a situation where my mother was Hurtt and I went to visit her long story short to stay put me out over my return. But the manager working there was kind enough to return the item, of course the item had tags and was never used and I’m sure they had all kinds of customers for the jacket, but the point is that was cool of them”
“I love this shop. It's my neighborhood place to go for everything I could possibly want when it comes to shopping for new clothing, shoes and accessories. I love popping in at least once or twice a month. When I visit, I like to survey the store and I always seem to find something new or what I want. The merchandise is of quality brands , with trendy and unique items that make it the boutque it is. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, and are a long time buiness. I kind of consider them a neighborhood institution. They are a huge anchor in this distric. One of my go to's.”

“A lovely and well curated little shop in Albany. Just steps from Solano Ave but easy to miss on a side street, this place is a delight. They have ceramics, incense, jewelry, perfumes, body wash, cards, small gifts. I think I saw granola, olive oil and a few cookbooks. They also have a good selection of gently used clothes, shoes, and bags. Kind people behind the counter. Just a wonderful place all round. I hope this store stays for a long time to come!”
“When I came across this store it was as if the clouds had parted to let the sun shine down on me. Yeah I’m exaggerating but it’s a cool store and the dude who runs it seems laxed. But when he asks you “how much do you think it’s worth?” I recommend quoting some outrageous price and wait for his counter offer. I mean it’s negotiating 101. But when you’re desperate for money, you’ll just be happy if somebody is willing to pay you anything. A mistake I shan’t make again. Yes I do recommend this spot for every hipster rocking a man purse and a cardigan and a SnapBack. Oh my god I just described myself. Bummer?”

“I love this store. I see lots of negative reviews about not getting attention. Well, in fact I do enjoy that. If I walk into any place I was raised that I am the one to say hello. I am the one entering the place to look around. I do not expect over the top hellos and attention from the walk in. In fact I find it annoying to be greeted, informed about sales and all that fake (really) helloness. )In Mexico is right the opposite, they will make friends with you from the get go - that almost ruined the trip for me. I had to say to BACK OFF.) If I find something that I like I will make it to the counter and ask a question. To me it is that simple. But I think it is a cultural difference. There are lots of tourists in Sausalito and id think that these people are aware of cultural differences. That is how it is in SOME countries in Europe and it is nothing personal. The greeting, smiling is just over the top and Id think "She is so nice to me because she wants me to spend money here". Well, while that might be true - if i like something I will buy it regardless if someone said hello to me or not. I totally understand the people working there too - now wear that fake smile to strangers to 8 hours per day. C'mon everyone has life and shit to deal with, you can not be happy ALL THE TIME. Give them a break, they have to deal with hundreds or thousands of tourists from all over the world always. Now imagine to what cultural differences they are exposed to. I understand both sides. If only people loosened up their suspenders, stop taking everything so personally and to the heart, the planet would have been so much easier to live on. There - off my chest”
“As someone who's pregnant and seriously struggling to find clothing that’s both comfortable and cute, stumbling into Cotton Basics felt like discovering a hidden treasure. It’s not a maternity store, but honestly? It was better than any maternity clothing I've found—because everything is so soft, so stretchy, and made from such high-quality cotton that it fit my growing belly like a dream.
I walked in just hoping to find one or two things that didn’t make me want to rip them off after 10 minutes... and I walked out with an entire new wardrobe! Pieces that feel like a warm hug, but still look chic enough to wear out and about. Total game-changer. I've already gotten so many compliments and multiple people I know now want to get the pieces I purchased!
And then there’s Karen, the absolute angel of an associate who helped me. She went above and beyond—bringing me different styles and sizes, calling other stores to find my favorite pieces in the colors I loved, and even writing down the item names so I could easily reorder from where I live in Boston. That kind of care and personal attention? You don’t find it often. She made me feel so taken care of—and helped me navigate my changing body with great recommendations!
I’m officially obsessed. Cotton Basics is now my go-to for pregnancy and beyond. Can’t recommend it enough—for anyone who loves comfort, softness, and that rare combo of simplicity + style. Thank you, Karen!! I’ll be shopping from afar, but this store has my heart.”

At the cashier section onw of the staff “Dalyia” she very helpful helped me to look for the item on the website and called another employee which she helped me found the right size to try it out ( unfortunately didn’t get her name of the seconde person ) but she was great too. There were another employee I think she was the shift manger she answer the question explained about the shipment process if I want to pick the item.Thanks for all of the staff ??”
“I came across the bows and arrows website when trying to find some stüssy shorts, they were 40% Off and when you include shipping were actually cheaper than buying them in the UK!
They arrived from California to England in 6 days, and I am so happy with what I have bought!
I haven't been to California yet but if I do I'll definitely visit!

“I've walked by this store many times. I always paused or slowed down because of the great window displays but never walked in: I mean, do I need another pair of earrings?Turns out I do! (And for less than $40!)I also needed very chic trousers a bit reminiscent of Katharine Hepburn, that I can wear all year, because I need all the help as I can get to reach my goal of casual elegance - still unattained but these things will get me closer, lol.Whoever does the buying has a great design sense. Great place to pick up gifts, too.
