“We went to Airport Appliance in Emeryville after a salesperson at Home Depot told us there's essentially no difference in quality between their washing machines, regardless of price. In contrast, Manny, Manuel Lewis, Jr., the salesperson at Airport Appliance was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the tiers within brands, whether parts are easily available, and what people say about how well machines with and without agitators work. He also helped us to understand different dishwasher options. They offer a service for connecting the dishwasher that HD does not and their delivery is faster and free. If machines don't fit when delivered, they can be returned free of charge, and if they arrive damaged, their price can be reduced or they can be returned. There is also a much larger selection to look at of all appliances. Great experience.”

“Kanen Coffee is a great place to get your espresso machine repaired. I recently too mine in for repair. They communicated with me during the process and completed the repair on time. They fixed what was wrong with it and polished it up, to boot.”

“I have been purchasing appliance parts from Ray for years. When something is not working, he is my go to. I recently hired him to come into my home and fix my oven. When I visited him at his shop to tell him what was happening with my oven he asked me a couple of questions and informed me of what he thought the problem was. Told me exactly what it was going to cost if it was indeed that problem. I hired him on the spot. He showed up exactly when he said he was going to show up. He actually called me to tell me he was on his way. He showed up with the correct part, tested my oven, and had it completely repaired within 40 minutes. I couldn't be happier. He is incredibly respectful, professional, and personable. at the same time. I would hire him again in a second.”

“It's less hectic than some busier store most times. Well stocked. Most employees very helpful. great parking. Has a number of electic carts for disabled folks that can't walk so well. Bathrooms reasonably clean. All the reason I rated a 4 star.”

“I will say that I can see how the Home Depot has changed, the majority of items are locked up. However, I do understand why; it’s due to the high amount of theft. But, I would like to say that I appreciate how friendly and how proactive an employee was during our visit. Denene provided us with AMAZING customer service! I appreciate how thorough she was explaining the process of changing out the cabinets and counter tops for our home. At this moment, my husband and I will be placing that project on hold, but I did want to recognize the amazing job she did, with being super patient with us and answering our questions. Thank you so much! ☺️”

“We visited on 7/10/23, looking for a length of flexible spa hose to finish setting up a hot tub in our backyard. We had already gone to one Home Depot and had issues. We located the hose in question, but wanted to buy per-foot, rather than an entire roll of hose. This was something they had a SKU for, but they didn't have 8 feet of loose tubing for us. Eventually, we took the roll up to check out and explained the situation to Sylvia. Other places might insist that we buy the entire roll. Instead, she stuck with us, and found Jose, who could do the cutting we needed.Thank you to Sylvia and Jose for going above and beyond in order to make it work. It took a little while to get the right people, but they didn't abandon us, and they made sure to keep with it until we had resolution.”

“This Home Depot is in the Emeryville shopping area, with a huge parking lot and is within walking distance of a Target, Nordstrom Rack, Office Depot and Michael's.I've gone there to get paint matched, and a variety of other household items and they've always had them.Lately I've been ordering online for pickup and they've usually been pretty responsive to get the pickup orders ready.”
