Absolutely Avoid Wiline! If you're looking for a reliable internet service provider, look far away from Wiline. They've been nothing but a headache since day one.Constant Outages, Slow Speeds Even when it is working, the internet speed is a fraction of what they promise.Terrible Customer Service: Getting help is like pulling teeth. Expect long wait times, unhelpful reps, and getting transferred around like a hot potato.Hidden Fees: Be prepared for surprise charges on your bill.Overall, Wiline is a company that seems to specialize in frustrating its customers. Do yourself a favor and choose literally any other provider in your area. You'll thank yourself later!

Company is a complete joke. We've been attempting to cancel their service which under contract only takes a 60 notice or a 0 day notice if their service doesn't live up to the Service Level Contract. That was back in January fast forward to now December and add an $18,000 bill that should even exist and you can sum how this company operates.DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE!!!

Worst company you can ever work for, they will rip the employees off too.

Awful experience sums it up. They acquired a local provider a couple years ago and everything went south since then. I eventually left them in 2022 for poor service, they still owed me a balance. I called and emailed all kinds of people repeatedly at no avail. They still send me a monthly statement reminding me that they owe me the balance. I eventually complained about their new jersey headquarters to BBB but they didn't even bother responding, that's how much they care. If you need internet you're better off using a dial up than working with this crowd. I actually believe that the company is run by robots, tell ones that have no souls and are plotting to erase the human race, bit that's just my conclusion, you make your own.

I don't know what else to do at this point except to offer a review. Our small business has been without internet or phones for a full week as of today. Not only my business, but also the two other businesses in our building that have WiLine service. Customer service seems apologetic, but there is absolutely no sense of urgency on their part to resolve the issue. I had just renewed my contract, so am aware of their questionable cancellation policies. Their own customer service staff commented they are in breach of their Service Level Agreement, so maybe that will be my out if they can't get their service up and running by the end of today. I will happily remove this review if they get my service back up by the end of day today, otherwise it stays.

Terrible service for years, only getting worse. Currently experiencing an outage which has persisted for what is approaching 140 hours, and after three days without service the support remains incapable of discerning what the issue is and remains unable to offer an estimated time of restoration. We are paying as much as our counterparts in town less than 15 miles away who receive substantially better service. Customer support is exceptionally unhelpful as they are outsourced to remote locations and do not even have access to the pertinent service backends. Stephouse was bad, WiLine somehow made it even worse. Another example of abhorrent business practices carried out by incompetent leadership helmed by John McGuire after a predatory acquisition in which they pled with courts to withhold deferred payments for said "purchase." These corporate fat cats will continue to not only abuse their relationship with their customers, but those whom they employ and those whom they conduct "business" with unless held accountable by the applicable governing bodies (said governing bodies being accountable is another conversation entirely).

We do not have a good word to say about Wiline. Their service provision and customer service is absolutely atrocious. We get regular outages to our internet service and phone service. This means that we cannot open our business during this time. There have been a number of times that we have been out of service for over a week. During this time, we have lost a number of big contracts with our customers and had to send staff home. Whenever we call WiLine to find out when our service will be back its always "We are trying to isolate the problem" or some other excuse. We have tried to cancel our contract a number of times but they quote obscene amounts of money to do this, $15,000! Their customer service team is extremely unhelpful. A representative, Ken, hung up on us and would refuse to talk. We have requested that a manager contact us about our issues dozens of times but have never received a call back. The only time they contact us is to let us know that we are locked into a contract. Our best advice for anyone running a business is do not contract with Wiline. It isn't fair to treat a customer like this, especially a small business trying to be successful. We cannot rate Wiline low enough.

Make sure that you read your contract in detail. They will not tell you they have an annual CPI increase. They raised their rates by 31% on us within a one year. In two years, the rate went up 50% from the original agreement. What's the point of signing an agreement so that they can keep us tied in? I ask to terminate our contract 1 months before our contract is about to end. They were tricky and tried to keep us. The Customer Relations Executive, Paul, says he will immediately replace our agreement giving us the old rate back. I actually believed him and signed the agreement. Afterwards, he says you need to wait 4-6 weeks for them to prevision and process the agreement. I wish I had never signed the new agreement; even if I had to pay a little more with another carrier. I rather give our business to the other internet provider. Learned my lesson. Theses are tricky people trying to tie you to their agreement, so they can increase the rates whenever they wish, as much as they wish. It's hard to get out of it. I just realize all these YELP reviews today.STAY AWAY! I agree "WILINE IS THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY I'VE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO WORK WITH. READ THE CONTRACT! IT'S BAD THEY WILL HOLD YOU TO IT. NEVER GO WITH WILINE!!!"

NEVER GO WITH WILINE!!! WiLine is the worst, most predatory company I have ever worked with in 10 years of business. Paid 5x market price for internet because Comcast didn't want to run a wire over the railroad tracks and I NEEDED it. Wiline said they could make it work so I signed a contract that was not in favor of the consumer at all. They couldn't get our service working, blamed it on our equipment, took forever to come out, and still insisted on getting paid. We were forced to go with someone else but still had to pay wiline. I tried to get out of the contract for 2 years but they make it too burdensome to prove it's not working so you just give up. We spent hours on the phone with repeated promises to get this fixed only to have them do nothing but send more bills. Wiline wanted over $5000 to get out of the contract, for a service that never worked. We eventually moved but kept paying $280 per month. They wanted well over a thousand dollars and 45 days to switch to my new building (with no guarantee and a horrible track record), it was cheaper to go with Comcast. Eventually the credit card expired and now they're harassing me for payment. I learned an expensive lesson about not signing contracts without strong performance guarantees. Wiline did not deliver what we paid for and we were too busy to fight them at every turn to come to a resolution. It's horrible business practice and it will kill them in the end. Even if what they did isn't illegal, it's really predatory. Read the other reviews, they're equally as bad. It's at the point where it's again occupying my time and lawyers might need to get involved. In a last ditch effort to get this resolved, I sent a copy of this review to them. I received a call from David Hertgen, who had some authority. After some time we negotiated to get out of the contract for around $700. I agreed, only to have him raise that to $1300 in the next sentence. I expressed my dissatisfaction with that and he lost his temper, started swearing and then told me he wouldn't honor the agreement, not even the outrageous $1300 settlement. A week went by and I got an invoice for over $3600. Now I'm going to have to fight more. They sent me to collections.WILINE IS THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY I'VE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO WORK WITH. READ THE CONTRACT! IT'S BAD THEY WILL HOLD YOU TO IT. NEVER GO WITH WILINE!!!

When you want to enter into a contract with wiline, be careful. Please read all reviews and you will find out why I think 1 star is the highest level Wiline can get. Don't trust what the salesperson told you. They won't tell you that wiline will reserve the right to increase your monthly rate as they wish. The contract will only bind you not them.

If I can put less than one star I will do it!!I am a business in an area they service and I have not choice other than use them for my phone/internet provider. They have a lot of issues updating their equipment or fixing any problem with their network. They take DAYS to recover and they don't care if your business is not running. And they are expensive!!!

Super disappointed with this service. They charge over a thousand dollars a month for service that has gone down almost daily for two months. They told me it was my equipment's fault for the first week or two. Then after a month admitted their equipment was the problem. Meanwhile my phones are out, we can't sell things. The 'service contract' says we get credit for down time but they won't provide the credit unless I provide all of the trouble ticket numbers that were opened after the last two months of down time. They told me they can't provide me, the customer, the trouble tickets they opened in their system, for the service I am paying for that they did not provide. Strongly suggest avoid these folks.

Please make sure that you read your contract, they have raised their rates by 48%. When trying to get out of the contract they said that my 12 month contract (singed in July 2020) auto renewed and I would have to pay a penalty for the remaining 5 1/2 months. I hope this might help some of you out there! In California they passed a new law Assembly Bill 390 which make it necessary for them to send you a renewal notice, which I never have received. How does one say class action?

Do yourself a favor and check the fine print on the contract. We were un-knowingly locked in to a 3 year contract that automatically renews. Now that we have changed to another provider, (twice the speed at less than half the cost) we are threatened with outrageously high cancellation fees of OVER $16,000.!!!! Company has been unwilling to price-match, waive fees or even budge on the amount. Shady business
