Got my passport application done in 10 minutes. There was no wait. Tessa was very nice and explained everything very clearly. She also watches the line, when there is a shortage of staff, she rings the bell to make sure customers are served promptly.

I've been to this post office several times over the past year to handle various tasks (mail pickup, mail forward, change address, etc.) for a family member living in San Mateo. Each and every time the clerks were knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating. Given my generally negative experience dealing with all types of service providers in the area (retailers, restaurants, attorneys, doctors, nursing homes, funeral homes, etc, etc.), it has been a pleasant surprise.

1st visit: 30 minutes to get money orders. I was the first person in line.
2nd visit: some random lady walks up to the counter and cuts line and asks if they speak spanish. The USPS clerk served her even though the first person in line was already half way walked up and had to turn around. Everyone in line looked around perplexed. This wasn't a case of her already being at the counter and having to come back, she wouldn't have to ask the person if they spoke spanish.
If you can avoid the USPS I suggest doing so. They waste your time and move slower than my dead grandmother.

I go in to return a package and the first thing that caught my attention was an older Asian lady being super flirtatious with a customer, she was second to last on the right hand side. Then as soon as the customer leaves she takes a good look at the rest of us yelled out “I’m tired!” and then closes the line continuing to yell out “Im going on break, I’m going on break!” Goes to the back starts yelling some more nonsense and then proceeds to vanish. Needless to say she choose the worst time to go on break since the place was packed. When she came back I had lucky enough to be the guy that was up. Now we’re half an hour into waiting to return a package…… As I’m trying to return my package the lady decides it’s the perfect time to answer a phone call and hides behind my box while she has a full blown conversation. The tea must have been good since she obviously forgot about it me. After the phone call was over she goes onto have the nerve to start questioning me about my package!? Like what, I get the legal stuff like batteries or whatever but she was like who sent this where did you get the label I think this and I think that.. Almost an hour into trying to return a . As you might assume I had very little patience for nonsense at that point and here we are. Very dissatisfying very disappointing I’m going somewhere else next time I recommend you do too. Trust me the other people in line were just as fed up.

This place is not recommended for passport services, particularly if you require a photo.Despite repeatedly asking about my photo and having already paid, I had to wait over two hours while others were served before me. Most of the staff were kind though confused, yet the lady taking photos was rude and provided incorrect instructions.Additionally, they failed to staple my photo to the application, handing me a stapler to do myself while they helped other customers, which I had not experienced before.To top it off, the photo lady dismissed me with a "later" and a "wait" hand gesture after I had already paid for the services hours before.Overall, it was an incredibly frustrating experience.

I've been using this USPS many times, but I've never had negative experiences. They've always done their best as much as possible and gently and professionally provide their services.Sometimes, I don't know the best price for shipping my package or their services, but they were always willing to explain them. I love this USPS place so far.

They've always done their best as much as possible and gently and professionally provide their services.Sometimes, I don't know the best price for shipping my package or their services, but they were always willing to explain them. I love this USPS place so far.

They said they delivered package but the package was never there! The postman/usps often mark the packages tracking as 'delivered' way before they did the delivery. It creates a lot inconvenience to the customers. USPS sucks!!!

We came in to renew my child's passport today. The employees are so nice! They were really patient with my fussy child who didn't want to take her passport photo. They started processing us before our appointment time and it was quick and painless. Highly recommend.

FIRST OF ALL THEY DONT HAVE MUCH STAFF PLEASE BE PREPARE TO SPENT LONG TIME STANDING IN LINE. IF YOU HAPPENS TO HAVE AN ISSUE PLEASE DONT SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR NAME: RAJ BECAUSE HE PRETENDS TO BE THE MANAGER. RAJ BELIEVE THAT A MANAGER AN A SUPERVISOR IS THE SAME THING. RAJ CANT HANDLE DIFFICULT SITUATIONS BY WALKING AWAY AND SAYING THAT HE HAS TO GO BECAUSE HE DOESN'T FEEL LIKE TALKING TO YOU ANYMORE. RAJ THINKS THAT WHEN A CUSTOMER IS TRYING TO EXPLAIN THE SITUATIONS IS THE SAME AS TRYING TO IPNOPTISIM AND THAT IS THE REASON HE IS WALKING AWAY. RAJ LIKE TO INSULT CUSTOMERS BY RAISING HIS VOICE LIKE WE ARE HIS CHILDREN'S ?. thanks raj you made my day ?.
