I’ve been to the San Mateo UPS office on 41st several times. Every time the staff has been both friendly and fast/efficient in processing customers through the line. No ridiculous waits that can happen elsewhere.

The two people who helped me were both thorough and knowledgeable. The woman taking my packages quickly and completely explained the options and charges. The other gentleman present gave me good solid advice on safety with packaging and shipping PC components. I frequently ship PCs and know he gave all the correct advice on supporting internal components.

Ali and his team were very responsive and accommodating to our needs for shipment. They guided us with the process and even stayed late to make sure we got everything in place. Thanks for your help! Definitely one of the best UPS stores we have come across.

This store lost the parcel we were attempting to ship and then when trying to file a claim they were providing us incorrect information.I know we’re emotionally charged but this was an incredibly important parcel and losing it has great consequences for us. More empathy for our situation would have been appreciated.

Went to drop off a package and they honestly tried to charge me to print their own label off after I told them I wouldn't pay for it. Twice now at this location we've had just really d*** issues.Prepaid shipping, sent them their label from the UPS email, they printed it, and then said it would be a charge after the fact for "print service". Talk about predatory practices. It's a UPS generated email and process. UPS deciding not to generate a dropoff QR code at the same time is absolutely a cash grab for the printing fees. I've seen it in the past but this is the first time that policy was enforced.Do better, Evelyn and UPS.Edit based on misinformation in owner response: the fee was not waived. The label was printed and then ripped up. I went to another UPS location just down the road and had a significantly better experience. So, again, based on the 0/3 quality interactions with this location I stand by recommendation to just go to another.

Lost my ID shipping from this UPS store. I was told to file a claim, and they gave me wrong information when filing a claim. Other than charging for labels, customer service experience is terrible.
