I have not been here since the pandemic. Whoa! How so much has changed. I love how Musubi's are pre-made, warm and fresh! I didn't have to wait! Still got to choose from an array of fresh poke. Organized and efficient store. Picked up a new insulated bag for our bounty! Everyone is always friendly here and full of Aloha. Luckily, we got a parking spot in their lot. Great spot!

Wonderful Hawaiian style market with fantastic quick food. Try the BAM musubi or the plate lunches.

This place is a well kept secrete. Its tucked away. Has a small parking lot but inside you feel like you walked into someone's Hawaiian kitchen, pantry. This place has everything you need and want when you have that Hawaiian itch. The staff is extreamly nice and helpful. The only thing I've eaten is the mac salad. (I needed for a party) . It was made with love. It was really good. I want to come back to try more food. #moononthego

What can I say: Food: Great, and always consistent - musubi, poke and side dishes Service: Great, always friendly Ambiance: It's like your old mom-and-pop store that happens to have Japanese/Hawaiian food.

This market has been on my bookmark list for quite some time, but their hours prevented me from checking them out. The place is quite compact. I mostly wanted to come and try their masubis. I had the unagi and salmon belly ones. They are quite filling, like a mini burrito. Poke was tempting, but I had enough food. I was a bit surprised there was a tip screen when I paid at the register. I guess it maybe makes sense for the people who order plate lunches.

Finally got a chance to come here!! I've heard great things about their musubi's and entrees. We picked up 2 unagi & crawfish musubis, 1 salmon belly musubi, 1 spam musubi, and a mochiko chicken curry rice plate. The total came out to around $70 - which was surprising to me. But it is a small business, so I didn't mind supporting!! Unagi & Crawfish Musubi 5/5 - even though it was $15, it was so delicious!! The musubi sauce + creaminess from the crawfish mixed so well together, and ofc unagi is always good! Salmon Belly 4/5 - I didn't try this, but my friends said the salmon belly was a little dry. However, they made a sriracha Mayo dip on the side, and it was perfect. Spam Musubi 5/5 - spam musubi will always be good, but 5.95 for a burrito size musubi is GREAT. got this for my little cousins, and they loved it! Mochiko Chicken Curry 5/5 - no complaints. Chicken was crispy, curry was delicious. We also happened to go on a day where Malasadas by Ocean had a pop up outside! While waiting for the food, we got Lilikoi & Guava Malasadas. Fluffy dough, and I was a fan of the cream based fillings!

Fantastic local market selling groceries you'd expect to find in Hawaii. Be sure to come here for their incredibly fresh tuna and salmon poke. For meat lovers, they also offer classic dishes like loco moco and Kahlua pork - all of which I would highly recommend.

Love their musubi's but they need better quality control: bought unagi musubi on 2 occasions and when opening at home they turned out to be spam musubi. Pretty expensive spam musubi. What can one do? Can't open it onsite to check!??

This place used to be epic. Now they premake the spam misubis and leave em under heat lamps. They're full misubis now not the sliced up bite sized ones. Sigh, covid is to blame.

Been bookmarked and I finally made the jump to go here. I was in the area for work and I was so glad I stopped here for lunch. It was delicious and quick and easy. I did come later in the day so they didn't have many options. I was quite confused at first how it works because I was not greeted upon arrival. The market itself didn't have much, but I did notice a lot of Hawaiian goodies. Rolls and rice plates were priced decently. I didn't try any poke, as there wasn't any left in the fridge.

Cute little Japanese supermarket. They also sell a variety of Hawaiian food like different kinds of poke, different kinds of musubi, Hawaiian soda, Hawaiian seasonings, Hawaiian cookies, and cooking stuff. Parking is incredibly small but there is street parking.
