We purchased a vehicle from Horatio and had a fantastic car buying experience. Horatio is knowledgeable, honest and genuinely cared about our experience. We had been to a few dealerships looking for a BMW i3 and Horatio had just what we were looking for in his inventory. He took the time to give us all the information we asked for and then some on our vehicle, its history and what we could expect in the future when it came to warranty work at our local dealership (the car still has 1 year of manufacturer warranty remaining). We drove 120 miles from Roseville California and would gladly make the trip again to deal with Select Motors, San Mateo. Thank you Horatio!

I live in MO and purchased a 2020 M8 Competition remotely. Experience was excellent. Horatio (owner) was fantastic. Polite, responsive, knowledgeable and patient. Car arrived just as described. Seems to be very honest and was a pleasure to work with.

Horatio provided a very pleasant car buying experience. He is very knowledgeable about the car he sold to me. He answered all of the questions that I had. And didn't try to hard sell an extended warranty that I wasn't interested in. The warehouse his cars "live in" is clean. The car I was seeking, and bought, was meticulously clean! I loved his parting words to me, "I'm happy this car has found a good home!".

We've had a BMW i3 for years that we like a lot, and we were looking to pick up a newer one. Select Motors had a great assortment of used i3s - the owner is a fan and knows a lot about the model, as well as other German cars. We were able to choose between a REx and a BEV that were both in great shape. An excellent experience overall.

My wife was looking for a specific spec Macan and Select Motors had it. Called to check availability and made an appointment (which you should do as well). Coming from out of town, it was nice being able to text him day-of to give updates on our arrive time. He was there waiting for us, gave us ample no-pressure time to examine the car, and let us go for a thorough test drive.Let me say, Horatio, the owner, is the man. Judging by the few negative reviews, his straightforwardness may come off as "brash" to the softer folks, but was greatly appreciated by us. Being a car guy myself, we talked Porsche's, etc. and he even let me poke around his inventory while we were doing paperwork. We were in and out in a few hours, including lunch and a bank run. Wouldn't hesitate to return should the need arise.

Great place to buy a car. On price and on service from the owner. We did our due diligence, checked with fiends and we chose Select Motors as the place to buy our next car. We are not disappointed and recommend Select Motors as the place to shop for your next buy. Owner's attitude was absolutely disgusting. the Owner profiled us based on what we look like. He accidentally spoke his mind told us that since we are UBER drivers, the bank will NOT approve us for a loan and that we could NOT test the drive the car without actually buying it or getting approved for a loan. WE NEVER told him that we were uber drivers and WE ARE NOT UBER drivers. This was simply a case of profiling if NOT racism. Would you buy fish in the ocean ? I definitely won't. buying a vehicle without test driving it is BAAAD business. If you want rude & dodgy buy from this guy, if NOT, STAY AWAY!!!!PS: We even offered to pay for the car in cash in full. He said, we couldn't test drive the car until we sign all of the necessary paperwork . The car is not a FERRARi, it's a Hyundai Accent for $7000. WOW just WOW!!!!

Just bought a beautiful A7 Audi /S-line/prestige premium plus package from Horatiu. Only 5,000 miles. It is a beautiful car and I couldn't be happier. Feels and looks brand new. Great price, Great car, Great Dealer to work with. Highly recommend this dealership if you are in the market.

I just bought my car here! He had very competitive pricing and was fair with my trade in. He made the process easy, and I appreciated that he got the car inspected by the BMW dealership and was very up front and honest. As he said, there is a reason why he has been is business for so long! I definitely recommend shopping for your cars here!

I had more than 20 cars since last 10 years and always dislike going to dealer regardless small ones or big ones, ( taking for ever to finish the business), but this time I flow from Los Angeles to San Francisco (one way) and met Horatio ( He picked me up when it was pouring rain) and only took 8 minutes to finish the paperwork and I was out with a gorgeous Audi a8 L /Super Charge within 8 minutes.I called him and made an appointment with him and he didi all the documents ready in advance, it make sense when he says by appointment only since he knows you want to buy a car and need time to decide and no need extra pressure like those regular dealers sales people whom all over you and showing all the cars without having any knowledges about cars.I leave 5 stars and it was a pleasure to met Horatio/ he is respectful professional person.Thank you Horatio and keep up good work.Key to failure is to please everyone, so he can’t make every body happy .Therefore don’t leave bad review if he or you can’t make the deal, he runs a business and its hard these days to keep up with cost of living.

I can't say enough of how good Haratio has treated me over the years. My review of his business is long overdue. I've bought in the past a Porsche Panamera and BMW i3. Both great experiences. He was extremely knowledgeable with both cars and made my buying experiences memorable. Memorable enough that, when my oldest daughter which just turned 30 decided that for her birthday, she wanted to finally upgrade to a nice car. She ended up choosing a 2019 BMW X6. Since it's been a few years since I bought my vehicles, I thought he'd forget who I was, but he surprisingly remembered me. He again made everything effortless, from setting a time to see him to doing the paperwork. He even gave me a nice bottle of wine as a gift for referring him to my daughter. Haratio is the genuine article. He's an honesty, straight forward and generous business man who knows the value of every client. He's the type of person someone would love to have as a true friend. Highly recommend buying a car through him!
