Better/nicer then any location on coastside, nice cashier young man was helpful, only thing thus location didn't have low sodium lays in stock but friendly cashier made up for what they didn't have, I'd come back

Most of time okay. But recently they put specific good price on some items but can’t redeem it when checking out. According to the cashiers, you have to go to their website and get those coupons. As a longtime local member, I can’t accept it. If you’re a member, you would get member discount before. But it seems not working anymore. If I have the time to find their coupons, why don’t I just buy groceries online from other vendors with better price and get them delivered to my door?

One of the bigger stores, staffs are friendly and helpful. They always restock their shelves when items are running low. So you can always find items that you want to purchase.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! They fired a 22yr employee for doing the right thing by trying to stop shoplifting. Then deny her unemployment knowing she has a family to take care of. Im sure hoping she would drown in legal fees going to court.
The workers at the Redwood city location are also on strike against Safeway. Saying they hurt employess and there families.
Looks to be a trend from Safeway!
