“Glad I picked this U-haul location for my first ever u-haul experience. They had the vehicle I reserved ahead of time, and was friendly, patient, and easy to deal with. The 10' truck was surprisingly easy to drive too, although do note that the trucks don't come with tie-down equipment in the cargo hold, so you'll need to secure your items yourself.”

“8/2023-Mostly a positive experience with checkout except their truck photos didn't show a big paint chips on the hood which I disputed before checking out. Checking in was mostly positive except the cashier was unknowledgeable about how charges would be badge if different from the original estimate.3/2020-I was so reluctant to use these guys after reading all the horrible reviews but I didn't have any other choices for an in-city move small pickup truck. Booked online the night before and price was reasonable. Moving day and visited store and declined the extra liability coverage ($10). Their online check-in and acceptance procedure was fairly painless. Although the photos they presented was the truck very clean and washed but when I got it the interior and exterior were a bit dirty but not a huge deal. I still took my own photos just in case. About 15 min and was out the door. $20 + $0.79/mile. 2 hours later and returned with gas replaced. A few extras miles was accrued and charged. I think I was very lucky compared to all the previous reviews.”

“All the people at U-Haul Redwood City (Woodside /El camino) is very helpful and friendly especially the manager and the ladies behind the counter . I have rented a lot of U-Haul's in different locations but I keep coming back to the Redwood City one. If you wanna stress free rental experience, check this location out.”

We did set up the appointment for the next day, so came at my appt and all works very fast and easy, once Returned the vehicle just drop the vehicle give them the keys and thats it! All online and by email!! That was the easiest and best service ever have for a rental!.Thank you!!”
“Greatly needed edition to the downtown area. It's on Union, but the gas pumps face State Street. Wanted to throw that in there to give orientation because all the streets downtown are one-way. Unlike some other convenience stores (there aren't many) downtown, this one is nice and clean. It's your typical Shell, so you'll find the usual. Yay for Slurpees!! Friendly staff. Nice place to stop for gas or a snack.”
