Looks nice! The owner offered help when I need, but there was a lot of food I'd never seen, so I thought I need to more learn those for my next visit.Some reviewers here said that they didn't show a food price, but I can now find the cost with food.

This is an excellent market that is well stocked with a diverse selection of Iranian food ingredients and delicious bread (sangak and lavash) and various other items (spices, teas, refrigerated items, Iranian ice cream, so many other delicious things!) The owner is always so gracious and kind. This is a true gem on the peninsula and I'm grateful for a small reminder of my Iranian culture.

It's a small store, but the people are kind and friendly. Nice to have Pirooz in San Mateo so we don't have to drive all the way to Rose Intl.

Where are the price tags??This store has more snacks and junk Persian food, not great if you want to cook Persian cuisine. I have been to much better Persian market in the U.S.The main reason I don’t go there anymore is because they don’t put any price tags on the products and it’s really overpriced. You can get same products from Sadaf.com and pay half the price.

Absolute gem for anyone who's Persian in the SF Bay Area. They have everything you need, the owner is very welcoming, and prices are reasonable. It's my go-to shop if I need any ingredients or condiments for Persian food. A+
