When your dog is sick, you want a vet who cares and who answers the phone. Peninsula Ave. vet clinic has never failed us over the years. We have two dogs now, and both of them have gotten their shots and other needs here
Dr. Hall was so kind and helpful with our dog Lenny, and the tech who helped our furry boy was especially caring ❤️ thx so much to everyone there

If you love your pet please avoid this place. Also read the reviews on Yelp before deciding to trust this establishment. One of my biggest regrets is choosing them.
I've waited a couple of months to post this review to cool down before I post.
I took my senior dog in since she was limping on Oct 13, 2023. They gave her a pain injection in spite of her liver disease. Not sure if they even checked her file for existing conditions before giving her the injection. I dont remember them checking with me about the injection cause I would have refused knowing her liver condition. She was unconscious on our way out and the vet didn't seem concerned.
The doctor also prescribed gabapentin and galliprant. I checked with Dr.Hall to make sure those meds would be ok for my dog's liver. She said it was. I had done her liver function blood work the same visit , the results a few days later showed her liver was getting better.
My dog's liver went into failure because of the injection and meds. And she passed away on November 11th after two visits to the emergency hospital and spending over 25k.
What I found weird is that the front desk person sent me a wellness check message on behalf of the vet a month later so about mid November. There were no wellness checks leading up to this. I still don't know what the purpose of that text message was and I can only speculate.

D doctor examined my dog , n just 3 minutes n say his heart is okay . Wat kind of d doctor is Thant Could have told us about needs to be done . Like if he needs vitamin or others to be healthy . Very unsastied of d visit .

Their response is an ugly attempt to blame me because they screwed up and failed to give me an accurate price when I specifically asked. They could have been decent and honored the price they told me on the phone, but know, they decided to twist my arm and waste my time and force me to pay. This is terrible customer segvize and terrible business practice. Don’t go here!!
I brought my dog here several times for a cough which they were never able to diagnose. Then I was told he need ONE tooth pulled. In the end, they pulled 11. When I went to pick him up, they told me I was going to have to $80 more than what the doctor had quoted me on the phone. Naturally I was upset. They then made me stand there and wait at least 15 minutes, only to tell me that they were not going to deduct the $80. It was completely ridiculous. My sense is that this place is very disorganized and the people working there never really seem to have a handle on what's going on. There are plenty of vets out there-I'm sure, much better than this place. I wouldn't go back if you paid me to.

I love this clinic. I can really feel they care about my dog. The doctors are so sweet and the support staff are so helpful. They have plenty of availability in their schedule that have allowed me to get care for my older dog. Thank you Pen Ave Vet Clinic!

I love my vet! Dr. Kelley is very sweet and knowledgeable. She has lots of knowledge on Sphinx’s (hairless cats) and Xoloizcuintles (Mexican Hairless dogs). I fully trust her with my dog’s care. Things are a little pricey, but what vet isn’t? It’s nice to know you have an expert nearby.

My dog and we love this vet. Doctors are very nice and professional. They take time for all the questions we have and the price is fair, unlike the other vet that charges for every visit for no treatment.

Dr.Michelle is great ! Great experience and pleasantly surprised! I was looking for a same-day appointment and happened upon this place. The staff was very accommodating and then they went above and beyond to help me and our new family member. Overall a really great experience. Highly recommend Dr. Michelle Kelly

The vet was very kind as well as her staff. Everything was very convenient she filled all the prescriptions right there. The office is conveniently located and parking is available. I definitely recommend her office.

Peninsula Ave Vet is the best veterinary clinic in Burlingame. I have taken both my dog and cat there and they are so loving of my animals, great with communication, and easy to get a hold of and schedule an appointment.
