My truck is PURRING! It’s running the quietist I’ve ever heard it thanks to Pablo “The Kid”. I have a 1995 D21 SE that I spent 3 years looking for. It is a unicorn of a truck, so I take great care of it by getting all my maintenance on time and repairs as soon as needed. My truck happened to start shaking on my way up to my San Mateo visit. Being from out of town, I just googled the nearest garage to get my truck in ASAP and I struck gold at this shop. Pablo was incredibly friendly and helpful. I asked him to do the 180k service and figure out why the truck was shaking. He found all the mechanical issues I had been worried about and got me all fixed up for $1,000 cheaper than the last time I got a very similar service done at 160k. He also figured out the shaking was because of a snapped tire belt and gave me a great rec for a set of new tires. That’s how I found out his nick name is “The Kid”. Pablo is a generational mechanic and grew up in shops all around town, so everyone in the business has watched him grow up into the mechanic he is now. It’s one big mechanic family over at his shop and at many shops nearby and I felt very taken care of by the whole crew. Now I do want to add, this shop has already got a great reputation and is busy because of it. I had the blessing of time in that I did not need a quick turn around on this job. I was able to leave the truck with them for a few days and told them that right up front because I came in without an appointment in a semi emergency. I highly recommend planning ahead and scheduling maintenance with them because they are a busy shop and now I know why. I will be bringing my truck to Peninsula Automotive Clinic every time I’m back in town.

Pablo and his team are very honest and thorough. I’ve been using Peninsula Automotive for about 10 plus years. He has been serving my 2002 S500 Mercedes.
Communication and pricing are very reasonable.

Pablo was great. Very honest and thorough. I got lucky and just dropped in for the first time when a window was suddenly inoperative. Someone else had cancelled so he was able to repair it the same day and gave the car a thourough once over too. Didn't try to push any extras. Good guy.Service: Auto power window repair

I took my car to Pablo after another shop said it would cost me over $4k to look at my cars issue and could not guarantee me they could fix it. Pablo worked his magic and fixed my car for way less!!Thank you Pablo!! I will be taking my car to you from now on.

I'm a relatively new convert to Pablo and his shop, but boy, oh boy. I'm SO glad I switched! In the year and a half since I found Peninsula Automotive Clinic, I feel like I've been treated with absolutely professionalism and expert customer service every time. Plus, the work itself is great! He and his team find the problem and fix it...fast. I have recommended Peninsula Automotive to several friends now, because it's hard to find a good mechanic you can trust, but Pablo is that. He also has recommendations for anything else you could need - detailers, tire guys - and his network is all super solid. If you're on the fence about your current guy, know that Pablo's rating is earned. I'm not a frequent flyer when it comes to Yelp recommendations, but I wanted to add my voice to the many, because Peninsula Automotive is legit!

Had a very small issue with my splash shield, but didn't want to spend too much time getting the right screws, jacking, and trying to handle all this while also keeping up with life. Publo and his team took care of the issue quickly and charged a cheap fair price. Couldn't be happier, will come back again for the bigger stuff.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Pablo is an amazing mechanic !!! My car all of a sudden did not turn on when I was out and he let me tow it in right away. He helped me with my battery and I was able to leave the shop with a working car same day. 10/10 recommend, great work and kind service.

I took my son's 2007 Matrix in for a couple of problems. Pablo could not have been more helpful or professional. One of the problems was "operator error", and his charge was beyond fair. Randomly found this place on yelp, but I'm a lifetime customer for both our cars from now on. Thumbs up Pablo!!!

Needed an oil change and was having trouble with my dashboard lights, so I took my Lexus 2006 in to get it checked out. It was easy to get an appointment and Pablo was super kind. I always feel nervous going to a mechanic because, as a woman, I feel like I'm going to get ripped off. It turns out there was nothing wrong with my dashboard lights -- it was just that the dimmer was on very low, so it had to be turned up. Pablo was honest about this, and didn't charge me for the lights (whereas I feel like many shops would have). They did great work, in a timely manner. I'm so happy I found a great place that is HONEST and does quality work for a fair price. Highly recommend!

My 2009 Honda Accord needed an oil change, but the shop I use to go to has gotten extremely busy and move further away, so I decided to give Peninsula Automotive Clinic a try. Pablo was extremely nice, caring, and really seems to enjoy what he does. I set an appointment, he gave me a run down of what was included in the oil change, and said he'll provide a recommended list of repairs, if any, in order of importance. He gave me a estimated time of completion, and it was done about 15 min before the estimate. After I got the call, I walked to the shop, Pablo explained the list of repairs he recommended, nothing was crucial (which he expressed), I paid and drove home. Easy peasy. Forgot to mention. This shop is small, so I'd definitely schedule an appointment. In summary: Good prices, great communication, great work, and even better person in Pablo. Highly Recommended

I had a rattle noise on the passenger side of my car for a while and after 5-6 times the dealership couldn't find/fix the problem. First time I brought it to Pablo they fixed the rattle. Highly recommend.
