I stopped by Nor Cal after my car was making noises on the highway. Phil immediately pulled out the Jack and diagnosed the problem. He gave a quick quote and timeframe for the job. He’s an honest and helpful mechanic. Check him out!

I've taken my old car to Phil twice and both times have been great. It's easy to make appointments via email and he got me in within a few days both times. First occasion was a battery replacement and second was an oil change. I felt like he knew his stuff and didn't take advantage of the fact that I know nothing about cars. Also, he actually listened when I said I'm just trying to keep this thing going for 6 months to a year. Some other places have tried to "scare" me into doing big repairs that would probably be important if I needed to keep the car for ages, but don't matter in the short term. So yeah, go to Phil at Norcal Auto.

Phil is an amazing all around car mechanic. He's provided excellent general vehicle maintenance and repair on many of my vehicles (American, Japanese, European - trucks, cars, suvs). Rates are fair/reasonable and an amazing value at the quality of work preformed. Recently discovered he does tires which he gave me a great product/price as well.

Phil at Nor Cal is my go to mechanic for all our vehicles. Finding a honest and knowledgeable mechanic isn't easy and we've been so fortunate to have found Nor Cal automotive. After bringing my vehicle to Phil for many years, I wanted to add my 5 star review to the many others. Simply put: Phil is the absolute best. Friendly, fair and truly great at what he does. Any time I have had an issue, he has had me back on the road in no time. I wouldn't think of bringing my vehicle anywhere else.
