Our credit card was on file with them, we were incorrectly charged 15 times for a total of $29,830 due to a "system glitch", and despite their written acknowledgment of the error, their accounting department couldn't be bothered to return the funds. After a 4-month wait we finally had to file disputes with our credit card provider.

They gouge people with their pricing. I was recently charged $110 for 30 pills of low dose naltrexone, when "typically 60 pills costs about $30 and that's the cash price." Dr. Neel Mehta, Weill Cornell Hospital, 8/24/20 ( It costs $46.95 for 90 pills from CFS Pharmacy online ( Unfortunately my doctor called the prescription in to Mariner's. They also made zero effort to see if my insurance would cover this, refusing to call the insurer unless I provided every possible number on a formulary card I didn't have. Every other provider and pharmacy I've ever used could and would get coverage information using my name, birthdate and SSN.

This pharmacy is very efficient. They are highly professional and friendly as well. It is apparent they take pride in their business. I recommend anyone that needs compounding to prescribed medication to support this establishment. I had to get compounding medication years ago and they were the only ones available to do so on the peninsula. Thank you for the wonderful service that you have provided me.

It's nice to have a compounding pharmacy nearby; however, this place has the worst customer service. They don't put the customer's needs first! I'd rather travel farther for better customer service.

I dropped off a prescription with a five day window for it to be filled clearly stating that it needed to be ready by the fifth day or else a procedure of mine would have to be moved. They did state that they would have to call the doctor and It seems they put in minimal effort into it. When I dropped it off they assured me that it would be ready by the fifth day. On the fifth day when I had to call to check on my prescription they had said they had not heard back from the doctor. If there was any communication with the patient, me, I would've been able to push this forward. Lynn in specifically was absolutely unapologetic and did not care that her pharmacy was not communicative and is causing my procedure to be pushed back, which costs more money out of my pocket. There is absolutely zero communication and the fact that I had to call them to check on my prescription if they were having issues when they should have called me. She also mentioned she saw on the file that it needed to be filled by the 5th day but they only started putting in effort on the fifth day, that it is needed, after I called to check. An apology would have maybe helped the situation but the fact Lynn didn't care shows the complete unprofessionalism of this pharmacy.

Though they used to be very efficient and responsive, in the past 5 months they haven't filled refills unless I contact them several times, they haven't kept me updated on why they kept forgetting to fill my order or what is going on with my refill, nor do they even have an actual person to talk to now when calling in about a refill.

Wow, what a gem and find for me! A compounding pharmacy pretty much in my back yard. The compounding pharmacies in Burlingame on El Camino and Anchor in SSF are closed, but I gotta say these Mariner people are better. Super responsive on the phone and proactively inquired to contact my doctor to get the rx. They called back a few hours later to update me on the status. I cannot even ... I don't have to chase them down nor do they give me the run around. They did all the leg work. This alone is worth the few extra dollars. I spoke to one of the pharmacists, Lynn, who hit it out of the ball park for me. They also called when my script was ready, and when I went there to pick it up without my asking for it, one of the pharmacists came around from the back for a consult, which I didn't request and didn't need, but still, given it was a suppository, was very sweet of her to do. It's a bit on the pricey side but then again, anytime a pharmacy compounds anything, that's the deal. No doubt about it, this is not only conveniently located, but their customer service is everything and more you'd possibly want.

Great pharmacy. I get a compound cream here that works great for sciatica and pinched serve/bulging disk and chronic lower back pain.

This is a very unique Pharmacy. You can get certain prescriptions filled here where you can't anywhere else.

I was initially glad to learn there was a compounding pharmacy in my neighborhood and even within 1 mile walking distance. The products they have made for me are great. Problem is their administration is cumbersome. There is never any other customer in there, there are about 20 people all quiet and working hard in there, but it is difficult to do the following: 1. Pay -- their system does not and will not take your FSA debit card, NOR do they bill for insurance. DRAG! 2. Get paperwork out of them quickly when you need to bill your own insurance because of No. 1 above. I'd like to use them for all my prescriptions, but it's time intensive for me to get what I need out of them. On the fence about it.

If you care about your money then don't come here. This rating is solely based on the amount of money that I have paid out for my previous prescriptions. I told my doctor and he couldn't believe how much I was being charged. I take testosterone cypionate which Mariners charges 125 and I paid 40 at Walgreens. I also take anastrozole which Mariners charged me over 200 and I went to CVS for 25...ridiculous!
