i ordered 3- 2 pack of alexandria barstools and only received 1 box of 2 chairs! when i called they did actually refund my delivery charges hwoever i was told we had to refund my card if they couldn't send me the other two boxes and ill be stuck with 2 chairs i cant not use and do not want woth out the other 4 matching chairs for my island! customer service said to allow another entire week after waiting a week for one out of three boxes i previously ordered, now i'm left waiting even longer for the remaining products i had already bought! im furious and will only buy from amazon! this why they're taking everyone's business! get with it macys! furious customer!

Delivery has been an unfortunate nightmare. We ordered a mattress and there have been two failed attempts. The first one was an issue on Macy's side with dispatch and then today the delivery truck came but they didn't have the mattress in the truck. Customer Service rescheduled for a third time, so I tried to call the store to understand what is happening but when they went to transfer me, they hung up on me so I gave up. If the next delivery fails, I will just have to cancel the order I suppose, it doesn't seem like anyone wants to help with the situation.

I purchased furniture from Macy's Last year on Presidents day. I waited 8 months for two cocktail tables. One table was fine the other was defective. I called on the same day and asked for an exchange. I had to wait till December for the exchange, which was today 12/13/22. This table was worse than the first one. I refused it, they called and said that they don't have anymore. Now I have to go back to the store in January to choose another one with only a 10% discount! I can't believe how they allow this defective furniture out of their warehouse. I have purchased furniture from Macy's for many years. I tried calling and now no one answers the phone!!

I ordered a bedframe/headboard online and realized that I had ordered the wrong one. The mattress would be delivered soon and I needed the frame to support the mattress. Within a couple of hours, I notified Macy's that I ordered the wrong one and asked them to cancel the order as I was putting in an order for the right frame. The item had not shipped and no delivery was scheduled. They refused to cancel the order. I am never doing business with this company again. I will have to pay a fee to return it after it is delivered. It's crazy that they would not honor my request to cancel it seeing that I was purchasing another one and seeing how it was not set up for delivery yet. It was ordered 10:00 at night and canceled they wouldn't cancel it 2 hours later. Bad business!

Folks, I've waited over a year and finally got my couch and side chair delivered today October 2022 and I'm so flipping happy I'm in tears. Mario, sales associate, assisted me Labor Day in 2021; he's a super nice man. They anticipated a few months delay due to COVID restraints in other countries but it actually took 14 months. I got a great deal on the couch and side chair set during clearance sales at that time. Folks, when I make large purchases, I research every aspect; comfort for long sit times, will my guests like it, convenience, durability, craftsmanship, etc. I sat on so my couches in so many stores I was exhausted. I kept coming back to speak with Mario about this set. Before making my final decision, I fell asleep on the showroom couch for 2 hours while I waited for Mario while he was assisting other customers. Ha!! That's how you make the final decision. Very pleased. The leather and side stitching is really nice quality. Macy's furniture delivery staff were flipping phenomenal! The 3 ninjas moved these heavy, massive items up a flight of stairs with ease! Very respectful and courteous. Unfortunately, the couch would not fit in my building's elevator. They moved it slowly step by step up the stairs. Promote these guys they're genuine assets to the organization! I'm very pleased with everything, however, I will reach out to customer service about getting some sort of credit to my account for the wait time.

We spent an hour picking out an expensive leather sofa , and an exceptional leather high back chair . The salesman had been helpful and even added levity at times when we were torn about our decisions . But once we gave him my ID to add the purchases to my Macys Amex card ,he couldn't complete the transaction on his electronic pad .he said he would go to the connected computer to put a hold on the items we wanted since none were available to deliver (out of stock) . But when I got there he had moved on to a woman who had apparently walked up and asked him to help her . He dropped our $7000 order immediately and took up her issue. I stood there waiting for him to finish or give me some idea how long that would be . He couldn't get the terminal to work so then he turned away with 'give me a minute ' and walked to the other end of the store . I was so shocked and upset. We left the store immediately, empty handed . He never turned around or came after us . Apparently customers are not the prime concern of these salespeople . Or perhaps it's just this one individual. Despicable and unacceptable in every way . Never shop Macys . I had worse trouble buying a bed at Macys Broadway plaza . Never again Macys !

This review is simply on store browsing experience. My husband and I browsed the sofas here, but ended up not buying. It was a bit expensive when fees and delivery were added in. Staff was nice and helpful, we were assisted by Jane. She gave us all the information we needed to know.

If I could give 0 stars I would. About a week ago I purchased a custom couch from Macys that would take about 20 weeks to make. The next day I found out the information the sales person gave me about shipping was incorrect and I had to spend 2 days trying to get that fixed. Then a couple days later I found out the information about how and when I would be charged was incorrect. I was charged for the entire purchase right away. It was supposed to be a deposit and a "pending" charge now and the pending charge would drop off. I was charged for the entire purchase right away. I have spent 2 days now trying to fix this issue. Half the customer service people I spoke to said yes, I was charged but there is nothing they can do about it and the other half said that I wasn't charged. My bank has assured me that I have been charged and it never came in as an "authorization" and the only way to fix it now is for Macy's to give a credit. When I was standing at the register i told the sales person that the register said it was charging and I was ignored. At this point, I don't even care if the couch is nice, it was not worth the rudeness of the customer service people and the head aches I have been through. I am sure I am not done either. This is going to be a long 20 weeks! We will never shop with them again. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!

Delivery Service was the ABSOLUTE WORST EVER! They sent emails and text messages with delivery time and date. Each time no show and order showed cancelled. Went back to the store twice to try and resolve. Was allegedly handled...well today was scheduled to be delivered between 8 to 10 am...guess what...showed order cancelled. Are you .....kidding me Bottom line went back to the store this morning and nobody could give an explanation why this happened again. Oh by the way don't ever try calling cause you only get autmated run around over and over...cancelled the order..extremely frustrating...Called Living Spaces and my new recliner will be delivered TOMORROW Macy's you should be ashamed

Bought a king bed with 2 twin xl mattresses on mechanical pedistals from Macys in Jan 2020. Before the warranty elapsed, one of the matresses collapsed and an independant examiner was called out to inspect. After coming and confirming the problem, the first inspector submitted a report to Macys stating there was nothing wrong with the mattress. Bewildered, I demanded Macys send out another inspector. The second inspector reported the problem correctly and recommended full replacement of one of the twin xl's. Total length of time to get a 2nd inspection -- over 4 months. On Dec 15th, 2021, a team of sub-contracted Macy movers picked up the mattress, and we instructed to go pick out a replacement. Macy's had no replacement in our price range so we requested the $1730 value of the mattress be returned to our credit card so we could shop elsewhere. After six weeks, at least 5 calls, and at least 6 hours on the phone with mostly Manilla reps, Macy's sent back only 1/3 of the money owed us. Three calls and 3 hours later, we were promised the balance of the money owed -- and are yet to receive it. Today, I spent another 90 minutes on the phone with yet another rep from Manilla who assured me that all would be solved by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I will follow up on this and either give a sigh of relief or keep pounding the drum. Macy's admin is very smart at keeping themselves perfectly insulated from mistreated shoppers who have greivances to ventillate. Since picketting Macys bed sales is still a legal form of public speech, I reach out to others with similar non-results from the tone-deaf bedding administrators and ask that you join me, picket sign in hand, at the next Macys bed sales.

Zero star is my rating. Have purchased furniture from this store a few times maybe 30k through out the years for a few homes and rentals. I say that only to say this. Regardless of how much you spend they will treat you like there is nothing they can do to help. Last year purchased 2 leather sectionals. 2 cafe tables and 1 kitchen table. Only the kitchen table wasn't damaged at delivery. Sales man said you've waited 8 month keep the stuff and we will replace it ASAP. 6 weeks later got everything replaced but the colors didn't match. Hmm At the same time as the above purchase we purchased a bedroom set for our daughter. Again everything was damaged or missing parts. As of today bedroom still not replaced and the workers that came out to fix the bed said they didn't have the parts that we've been waiting 4 months for. Bedroom still not done. 45 minutes on call with customer service. The lady offered $100 credit. Bunch of clowns from Sales to Management to CS Do not do business with Macy's furniture!

I have a mattress I've had for 7 years. There's larges dips on mattress and hurting my back. I decided to reach out to macys and see if warranty will cover it. They said they have to send out inspectors and didn't have availability for 2 months. That was upsetting but it is what it is so we set it up. The day of inspection the inspector went to wrong address that his company gave him and refused to come to right address. He was extremely rude. Not a part of macys but hired by macys. I called macys and they had my correct address so not sure how inspectors got my wrong address. I told them what happened and the supervisor told me to take specific photos and angles of mattress and email it and I would hear back in 3 days. I did not hear back so I called again and now they are saying that they will only accept the inspection report and not the photos. Very upsetting to say the least. I'm done with the stress of it. They probably make it so difficult so people give up like me.
