Worst customer experience, ordered in-store pickup 4 days ago, tried to pickup twice (no email with confirmation of order pickup), no success. Second time consultant literally got my order, but was asking me to pay second time, with excuse that they have some kind of issues…

My family and I were running out of face cream and decided to go to the Hillsdale Kiehl's store in Hillsdale shopping center instead of ordering on line like we normally do. I wanted to mention that I had the best service I've gotten from any retail store from Vania Gomez and Fernando. I ended up purchasing close to $300 of products due to both of their help and recommendations. They were both extremely professional and asked all the right questions to make proper suggestions. It was great to get excellent service that no longer exists this days. I have now recommended this Kiehl's location to 10-12 family members and friends, due to the excellent products that were recommended to me by Vania. This guys were so helpful that I now decided to get all my corporate Christmas gifts for my company from them. A+ service from Vania and Fernando !!!

this is my go-to kiehl's store, which is not too far away...just a couple cities north, and inside the busy hillsdale mall. this storefront is a bit smaller than what i'm accustomed to, but still features everything i need...face cream/wash, body wash, lotion, and travel size toiletries. i come a few times a year to stock up and have never had an out of stock issue. the more you shop, the more rewards you reap, and there is almost always a special deal happening (spend $100, get a discount or special item, bogo, etc) also, when you return your empty containers, you get points for each container, and 10 points = $10 off a purchase. it doesn't matter how big or small, every container counts! staff is always courteous and efficient, always letting me test a product and offer samples to take home with every purchase.

Actually nice people, functional store. I just switched from their $26 little tube of face wash to the real thing. From Lush, cheaper. Rather not support Olay and rabbit eyes cosmetic testing anyways.

Very unprofessional and forcefully made you spend money even if products don't suit you. I like a few products from the company but unprofessional behavior from this particular store will make me think twice before I go to this store again.

Poor customer service Kiehl Hillsdale shopping center.. went for a couple of gift cards and this lady TAMI put a limit of $500 per person.. or if I like to go back in an hour to talk to the manager.. my friend was around so ask for the favor to purchase the other gift cards.. this time TAMI said the system did not let her process the gift cards and the limit is $500 per couple.. FIRST $500 per person and now $500 per couple.. so she need to call her manager on the phone.. comes back now telling to go back to the store around 2pm.. think I will be going back to the store again around 2pm.. think gas is cheap now.. I think Kiehl should train better their reps to LIE a bit better instead training for selling..

Went to do a return and from the get go to employee was cold and stand offish. She asked if it was an online order and we said no we bought it in store. We couldn't find to receipt (we mentioned this aloud but she didn't offer any alternatives) so we walked all the way back to the car to look for it. Although we couldn't find it, when we got back we had to ask if there was any way to make the return without a receipt and only then did she finally say she couldn't but could do store credit if we couldn't find the receipt. All this time she looked at my mom and I like we were trying to steal the products or something... which was sad because the last time I was here an older lady was super sweet and helpful to us. My dad loves this brand so I guess from now we will switch to online purchases only as to not deal with rude customer service.

Today was my first time going. Yesterday I found out that my nearest Kiehl's at Stonestown closed, so... I was looking for something new, and I found it here at Hillsdale Shopping Mall, which is very reminiscent of how shopping malls used to look back in the 80's/90's. I might come back.

Walking into a Kiehl's store is a similar exp. to walking into a spa and Disneyland. The ambiance and service is warm and friendly. The products are top quality! Thank you!!

I have always had a good experience with Kiehl's at Hillsdale Mall, but my last visit is what made me realize it is time to write the damn review. I made a purchase online and had the items shipped to the Hillsdale Kiehls. When I made my way down to the store to pick up my items, I looked around per usual, and casually mentioned to the sales rep "I was going to buy this set but they were all sold out online during the flash sale!" After checking out and making my way down to Macy's, I hear someone behind me saying "excuse me, excuse me!" I turn around and it is the Sales rep from Kiehls. He chased me down to let me know that he asked his boss if he could honor the 50% off price from the online sale that ended three days ago! - This blew my mind, this is by far the epitome of customer service, I did not ask for a discount nor did I think the rep was truly listening to me lament about my missed opportunity. I truly appreciated the customer service, and I got a good amount of samples lol, Win, Win. Check out this store if you're near and you're a Kiehls fan.

Update 1/20/20: Customer Service called and will be sending my Mom a replacement. Thank you Kiehls. The Vitamin C Serum has helped me keep a youthful face. All my high school friends are amazed how young I look. So I had to buy it for my Mom too! This store is amazing and I have be a loyal customer here. I have been a loyal customer to Kiehls for many years...then after all my loyalty I get treated badly by customer service at corporate when a product is defective that I ordered online: I bought this Christmas Gift Kit for my 80 year old mother in the nursing home. While on my visit (9 hours away) I gave her this as part of her Christmas gift. Since she is unable to apply it to her own face, I opened the box and when I tried to pump the vitamin C Serum, nothing came out. The pump is defective so I contacted customer service. I finally heard back when I was back in Florida. I was then told I need to send the item back in the original package for a replacement. I explained that my mother is paralyzed and not able to do anything, let alone pack the product and send back. I will not be back to see her for 4 weeks. Needless to say, I will never buy Kiehls again. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years. Really bad customer service. Lowest rating I can possibly give.
