We did an extensive remodel starting with a new kitchen and custom dining room cabinets, going all the way to foundation work and outside walls renovation. Kanika and Adi were a joy to work with and delivered on budget and on time. Kanika's taste, and expertise in shapes, structures, and colors was amazing to witness. She listens, suggests, and guides, to deliver a design that goes beyond expectations. Adi, as the project manager is extremely communicative, direct, and transparent, which all combine to contractors on site everyday and a huge confidence on in-time progress. Very highly recommended!

I worked with Kanika Design a boutique interior design company for several years. While working there I was able to work on all aspects of the design process, had a lot of hands on experience. Kanika, the owner and principal interior designer, is very knowledgable person who is willing to answer all of your questions and teach you everything she knows. I had amazing time working at Kanika Design during my stay and would highly recommend their interior designs services.

Kanika Design helped us with a full home remodel for our home in west San Jose. After living in our home for several years, it was about time we needed the refresh. My wife and I interviewed multiple interior designers in the bay area, but Kanika Design stood out from our first meeting. Throughout the entire process, Kanika ensured that we were comfortable with her design choices. We are not that big on using colors, Kanika's suggestions gave us confidence, and we are glad that we followed her recommendations. Kanika Design’s team did an outstanding job managing and completing our remodel project on time and within our budget. Their team is professional and the contractors did great work. We love coming home everyday and would highly recommend Kanika for her exceptional talent and interior design services. Thanks Kanika, we love love our new home :)

Kanika is an extremely talented designer, and I can't recommend her enough!We bought a house in March 2020 - signed the contract days before covid stay at home orders. My husband and I then spent two years working from home together in our front room (we call it the study now) without any rhyme or reason, just putting our desks wherever they fit, because it all happened so quickly. It was awkward and ugly, cords and monitors everywhere, and not a great look for people walking in our front door. The whole time, I was thinking, "when this is done and at least one of us goes back to the office, I want to make this room into a nice space to read and relax, and also to WFH when I have to."That's where Kanika comes in. I tried changing the place up on my own, but every choice I made seemed to make my space uglier and more awkward. It was time to hire a professional. That decision was worth every penny.In the end, my project turned out to be slightly bigger than just one room. I enlisted Kanika's help in choosing flooring, baseboards and paint for the whole house, furniture for my entire downstairs (we were still using the old living room furniture left by the previous owners), and light fixtures throughout. She was easy to work with and understood immediately what I was going for. My study is a real showstopper now - the walls are this deep blue color that looks amazing, she designed a gorgeous custom bookshelf that makes perfect use of the space, and she picked a couch that is the perfect size, just the right color, and so comfortable. And we still managed to get a desk in there for those WFH days. Literally just the other day, I was on a Zoom with someone and thought "this room behind me is so pretty, it looks like a fake background." But it's real, and in my house! And it wouldn't have happened without Kanika.

Their website states that they serve Santa Clara County, however we contacted them about help with a house/winery in San Martin and they said they don't serve the area....very sketchy. I suspect they saw our Hispanic last name and decided to decline helping us. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Kanika is amazing! We moved into a new to us home that had some things we wanted changed, she helped us through the design phase and found wonderful contractors to implement the changes. We have worked with other designers and contractors and Kanika was one of the best. When we ran into problems and unexpected issues she helped us through them quickly and with consideration to what we wanted. There are always unexpected issues during a construction project but not everyone has the skill to handle the unexpected and make the customer feel at ease, Kanika does. Kanika helped us pick out a few pieces of furniture, lighting fixtures, redesigned our home office and laundry room. We are beyond thrilled with the results and have recommend Kanika to our friends.

Kanika is an incredibly talented interior designer, she really listens to your needs, she is flexible and brings in ideas that are unique to your space. Her sense of color is great and she has access to lots of great vendors in her team that do quality work (construction, custom furniture etc.). Their process is clear, designs are presented visually with material choices to help you clearly see what the space would become. Prices are presented upfront, they take care of all execution details and you can rest and relax as your space is getting transformed... beautifully if I may say :) If u are looking for an interior designer for furnishing or remodeling your space and want a stress free experience.. look no further.
