had the exterior washed today, and it came out shiny clean! They actually dry the car and don't send you off drip drying! the guys are all friendly and nice also.

they stole my belongings that was worth $150, i confronted them about it but they declined it saying they saw no one take it. It was there when we got there but gone when we left.

Every visit, always courteous service and a clean car that comes with it. Decided to try their detailing service and they didn't disappoint. My van looks better than when I bought it. Highly recommended.

I have had excellent experience. used this car wash for the first time (I always used other place). from now on I'll always use San Mateo Car Wash! excellent customer service and they do a great job!

Pretty disappointed with my car wash. You know how you freshly come out of the car wash and you're feeling good, the car is still kinda shiny so you can't really see anything? Well, my car went straight into the garage, I swear I didn't drive it anywhere else, and when I tried to take the kids to school the next morning I finally noticed all the dirty smudges left on the car. I almost thought, wait a minute, did I wash the right car? Because the outside doesn't have a shine to it, it looks like I washed it myself and left all these splatters all over the car. Very amateur and disappointing job.I guess I'll just go back to the auto car wash at Shell gas station on Hillsdale and Norfolk. No frills, but cheaper and cleaner.

The service was extremely disappointing and when I made my concerns to the manager (a Latino guy in glasses but REFUSED TO GIVE ME HIS NAME WHEN I ASKED). I paid 32+ dollars for a car wash which included an extra charge for detailing service. After the service was done, I addressed 2 or 3 spots that needed attention, the manager refused and say that's how it is. I even showed the manager that it was not a scratch and I was able to wipe it off. Though it required a bit of elbow grease, the Mgr refused to do something about it. What the tipping point that made me upset is he refused to provide me his name. Why is he so scared? Reporting to his mgr/owner that he would get in trouble??In addition what made me disappointed is the effort. If they JUST tried to wipe off the spots I mentioned and if it could not come off, I can understand. BUT THEY REFUSED THE EFFORT!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE I lost complete trust and confidence in this place. No wonder they need groupon to boost their business. They showed they care more on the extra dollar vs how the customer feelsI DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNLESS THIS MGR GETS FIRED OR REPRANDED. They have a menu of washes to order, but make sure you check the website before you show up because they had options that were not on the menu that will save you money. I got to drive the car into the car wash, which I love because my dogs go nuts when they see the guys scrubbing down the windows. Once you finish, hop out and take a seat on their patio or in their air conditioned waiting room. The facility is clean, including the restrooms. I like how there's a tip box outside the waiting room doors. Thumbs up because it was kinda fun to wait in this clean space.

This car wash is in a convenient location at the corner of Hillsdale Blvd. and Saratoga Drive. There was no line and we pulled up to the entry point where an attendant gave us choices of the services they offer. He also offered us their special "buy 3 get 1 free", we appreciate that he was just sharing information and was not upselling. We've been here several times before but today was our first time to return where the customer actually drives the car thru the car wash. I can see how this may be a precaution in light of COVID. At the end of the wash, someone directs you towards attendants who wipe dry the exterior while the customer stays in the car. Then they have you drive towards the team that would do the interior. We exited our car and headed in to allow the team to clean the inside of our car. There used to be a little gift shop but that's all gone. It's been replaced by a clean seating area. However, before we could even take a seat, our car was ready! The fast service would have been much appreciated, but they missed quite a bit of things - wet spots on our dashboard, spots on our windshield, and they could have done better with the vacuum. All these for a whopping $37 for the deluxe wash (interior & exterior). We will definitely shop around for a car wash that gives more value for our money.

Expensive Cheap Service! I was at San Mateo car wash last Saturday paid $45 for "ultimate" interior and exterior. The service is not satisfactory! It says it's guaranteed but is it fair to pay this much and waste more time to go back and convince them for complementary service?! You have to do your job right at first place and spend enough time compare to what you are asking for.

I've been coming here for a few years and the quality has gotten so much better recently. Stopped by on my lunch break and got the $69.99 package, exterior wash and full interior detail. There were multiple people working on my car and they finished the job super quickly. I have animals and the interior was filled with hair and dust, and now it's never been cleaner. Will be coming by more often.

Don't go here. They are the definition of a bad business. I paid their exorbitant price for a premiere service. When they waved to me that they were done, I walked up to a car with bird p*** on the hood and dust on the seats. After arguing with the cleaner, I asked for the manager who proceeded to tell me that these things weren't covered in my $60+ package. Yeah. Okay. A car wash apparently doesn't include washing a car at this establishment. Avoid them like the plague.

I wouldn't go here again. I paid for the deluxe package and they didn't even wipe down my dashboard or anything. The guy at the washing station was rude. His notifications on his Apple Watch was more important than directing me into the wash bay. They did a shitty job on the inside of my truck. Didn't even use the right brush or enough product to make my tires shine. Pitiful. Wasted money,

Man up front tried to charge me 30 dollars JUST to wash my 2 plastic floor mats. Car wash was $45, not too bad but poor job on cleaning the inside. Tire dressing was put on sloppy (a couple dry spots on each tire)

If you are in the area, I highly recommended San Mateo Car Wash service. Not only it's convenience, fast, the cleaning work is very detailed and thorough. The owner Johnny is very professional and nice, he is on site to help you out on your car wash need. I also enjoyed their lounge area, plenty of open space to sit comfortably while waiting for your car to get pampered and cleaned!

San Mateo car wash offer an incredible deal for unlimited washes, $19/month and their staff work very diligently. They are constantly improving and their staff are very kind and courteous.
