Goodwill Store & Donation Center is a well-established nonprofit located in the San Francisco Bay area, dedicated to creating employment opportunities for local individuals facing barriers. Operating since 1916, it relies on community donations to provide free career services, job training, and affordable shopping options. The store has received mixed reviews from customers. Some appreciate the recent changes that have made it cleaner, more inviting, and better organized. Friendly staff members, like Shane, have been highlighted for their helpfulness. However, others note that the store can be crowded and small, making it challenging to navigate. While some customers have difficulty finding items they want to buy, many treasure hunters enjoy the thrill of searching for unique vintage finds amidst the shelves. Frequent visitors recommend the store for its diverse inventory, which includes clothes, DVDs, toys, and more. Despite its quirks, the experience can be rewarding for those willing to dig and embrace the adventure of thrift shopping. Overall, Goodwill Store & Donation Center remains a popular destination for bargain seekers and treasure hunters in the Peninsula.
FYI: They're open until 7pm, but only take donations until 2pm. Don't drive 30 minutes there to donate anything, like I did, only to find one tiny sign on the side of the building with their donation hours.

This is the smallest and most crowded goodwill I've ever been to. I used to work at goodwill and I believe in what they do for people. However, I rarely find anything I want to buy here.
