I have been going here since my childhood and recently came for the updated covid vaccine and was helped by Reggie checking in and he was a very nice and straight forward employee. At most waited 5 min in line. The shot was quick and easy and overall a great experience

Tried to return an item and the lady at the cashier was like "you don't have a receipt" and I had to explain to her how digital receipts work but she kept saying "how do I even know you purchased it?". Well the digital receipt ended up working but she never apologized.

The worst pharmacy experience I've ever had? TL;DR: The pharmacists have no problems lying to your face.I needed to transfer a prescription from this Walgreens to another pharmacy. The other pharmacy told me that this Walgreens never answers their phones. I went to this Walgreens to ask them for a good time for the other pharmacy to call, and they said any time during business hours. So I called the other pharmacy and asked them to call now while I was in this Walgreens.Here's where it gets good. I also tried calling this Walgreens pharmacy and was put on hold by their automated system. When I approached the same pharmacist I spoke to earlier to ask why I was on hold, he said that they were too busy and cannot answer the phones. There was no one else in line, so I asked him to please answer the phone now. He refused. The ability to lie and then refuse to honor his word to my face was a new low in customer service. He said the words "sorry about that", but why even bother?

This is a traditionally good store. I've bought grocery type items there, purchased home goods, picked up medications for relatives and prescription needs, handled a bit of legal work for their midwestern office many years ago and recall hearing nothing but positive reviews about their many years of service. It is a classically great name.

The Pharmacy staff is outstanding. They are so courteous, kind and helpful. They also have experienced nurses give you vaccines and they do a great job. Plus, you can drive through to pick up your meds.This our new favorite pharmacy!

My partner scheduled a covid-19 vaccine online when the Walgreens website said that this location had covid-19 vaccinations available. She got there on time with her family member that needed it, and when asked if there was any vaccinations available, they said no. They didn't offer any explanations or alternatives, just said no they don't have it and sorry. Why is the website not updated if there are no vaccinations available? My partner made an appointment, received a confirmation text, email, everything and here we are, wasted time going here only to find out there is none...Walgreens, please get your stuff together.Also, I've been going to this location monthly to get my Caltrains monthly pass for my Clipper Card, and 2 months in a row, the Clipper Card machine is down. No notifications or warnings of when it will be fixed. Customer service is non-existent when informing you as well. It's a nonchalant, I don't care, sort of attitude.I don't know what has happened to this store. I remember it being friendly and amicable. Nowadays, I feel everyone is giving you the cold shoulder and is reluctant to help out. Lastly, be careful visiting this store at night. People have been attacked by some street individuals who sit in front of this Walgreens location.

They never say it's located inside Walgreens. Shows the address is 191 e 3rd Ave. I'm driving up and down the street for an hour. Calledd Ted ex can't get them to connect me to anyone because there is no one to connect me to. What a friggin wist of time and money! I'm so dam angry right now u have no idea!!!!!

A store that allows blatant, rampant shoplifting is an unsafe store. The store had what I needed, and I got in and out relatively fast. Service was fast and friendly.

I give Walgreen's a zero! I have an infection and my doctor sent in a prescription for antibiotics on Friday. It's now 430 Sunday afternoon and it still is not filled. Tried calling the pharmacy but no one answers.

They make their own hours and their drive thru hasn't been open once in the last two weeks I came. I only chose them because I'm on crutches. The line out the door.

I would not even give this a star if I could. Worst store ever. Over 10 people in line for the pharmacy. Come on Walgreens do better. Pay and hire people. The store was a mess too. Carts for restocking at 2 PM blocking isles. The people in San Mateo deserve better. I came to pick up a prescription that my store did not have. Ready to just leave and wait until tomorrow. Not to mention the coughing and dirty homeless. Seems like the manager should be helping out with hot spots in this store. Best advise is to avoid this store at all costs.

Im leaving this review for the Walgreens pharmacy on east 3rd ave, this morning at around 10:30am I called the pharmacy and a guy picked up I gave him my information to pick up an auto refill that I've been picking up now for about a few months in this Walgreens. He tells me my information is not there that maybe it's in another Walgreens and then hangs up the phone. So I got confused and checked again on google and saw I had the right number so I called again telling him I just called I give him my information again and he says the same thing, I then ask him if the address is East 3rd avenue in San Mateo, and he tells me it's not east 3rd avenue instead it's just 3rd avenue and I was gonna ask him if the other street was south Ellsworth but he hanged up the phone and didn't let me finish. Which is totally disrespectful and unprofessional to do, I was so disappointed.

Was on hold for 2 hours for the pharmacy. After 1 hour and hearing the recording tell me "we will be right with you, there are 2 calls ahead of you". I decided to call on a 2nd line. I was given the same fake message there too. So, at 4pm I called and the pharmacy closes at 6pm. Guess what happened to both of my calls at 6pm? I was hung up on!! There is No excuse for this. Completely ignoring the calls. The pharmacy manager and the district manager must know this goes on. When I did get through 3 weeks ago (yes 3 weeks ago!) the woman on the phone had no idea how to do a Rx transfer from another pharmacy.

In for prescription 3xs not operational Defaults to wait to speak to representatives and it Rings with no answer 2) attempted drive through pharmacy ....last 2 times was closed 3) 1:30 appointment for vaccine Arrived timely .....advised to get in line of 12plus Customers .... Appointment made three weeks ago No manager on duty Was advised short staffed "Preston" less than helpful Took over an hour to get vaccine ..

i was on queue for an hour on the pharmacy phone line, and when it finally rang. was put on hold for another 15mins, then the call was drop. what a terrible customer service
