Hired them to pick up furniture from a private seller. They cancelled first time because previous appointment had issues. They cancelled second time because of an emergency and didnt bother telling me, just rescheduled it with the pickup location. Finally showed up the third time and did an OK job. Why did I keep rescheduling with unreliable movers??? lack of time to search

DDT Moving was one of several companies I contacted to move stuff from a storage unit to my house. They had the most reasonable cost option for this move. Extremely pleased with their work and communication. They worked quickly and carefully. Highly recommend this company.

Requested a last minute move, we figured everything out in an hour. Very fair price compared to others, saved about 1000 dollars. The team was very professional, nothing broken and everything precious wrapped. Did a way better job than I would have. Thank you!

Overall not happy with it. A few caveats: 1) Check the material fee if you decide to use their packing service, turns out they charged hundreds of bulks on the boxes on top of their hourly rates. Would be good to share the estimated numbers beforehand. 2) Not quite efficient, movers are a bit slow overall so spent much more time than expected. It's also the first time I heard "a paid timeout" for moving. They'd like to keep the meter on while they're on a 30 mins break.3) Some delicate items were damaged (see pic): one monitor, one baking pan and a cabinet. It's a little unsurprised because during the packing time, the group keeps asking us if we have more towel or clothes for protecting the furnitures/ electronics, instead using bubble wrap or other professional packing materials. As such, most of our furnitures were only covered by towels with tapes. Would not recommend the service.

Daniel and his team are super friendly and very nice! I have used DDT to move two different times throughout the Bay Area. The most recent was from Berkeley to SF, where my new apartment has a really steep staircase. Both times when I moved, DDT was there right on time and moved my belongings from apartment to apartment without breaking even a lightbulb. I would highly recommend this moving company. It is affordable, efficient, professional, and overall amazing! Thanks so much Daniel!

Daniel and his team were amazing. They started as soon as they got there and was super quick with loading everything. They also unloaded all my furniture quickly and up a flight of stairs no less. Very hard workers! I had a couch that needed dis/reassembly and that was done perfectly too. They were even courteous enough to wear booties to move a drawer up to my carpeted second floor. I was highly satisfied with the service and will be recommending them to my bay area friends.Service: Local moving

I had a great experience with DDT Moving. Daniel and his team were very professional, took care of my things and wrapped the larger delicate items well - they even disassembled my bedframe! My truck was loaded in no time and I could tell they took weight distribution in to account when putting things in for safety. I definitely recommend DDT Moving, you won't be sorry!

We called DDT last night at 7:45 PM because the movers I hired on Craigslist (I know, bad move) totally flaked on me at 7:30 PM after I waited for them since 12 noon. They kept telling me they would be here soon and literally told me at 7:45 that they could not make it after all. In a panic, we called DDT and left a voice mail. They texted us back right away and we asked them to call us because we had a bit of an emergency. Daniel called and I told him the situation. He immediately put my mind at ease as he was so nice and seemed genuinely concerned. Much to my surprise, he ended up squeezing me onto his packed schedule and got me in at 9:30 today. He left me a text first thing this morning advising me of his arrival time and both he and his partner Uber (don't know if that's how you spell his name) arrived and totally nailed it. They were efficient, incredibly careful, very professional and loaded all of my stuff so beautifully and carefully, ensuring that everything was secure and stable and properly wrapped in moving blankets or bubble wrap. I even through in a few requests to move some furniture in my house and they did so gladly. I will always use this company and recommend them in the future. They were amazing. Daniel and his team moved my 2 bedroom apartment across the city very quickly and without damaging anything. This involved carrying our stuff up two flights of stairs, which they seemingly did with ease. They were very punctual and fast.Service: Local moving

Crew did not show up. I called Daniel several times and got a text about 30 min later to cancel.Daniel said he is available at a later time in the early afternoon but canceled again right before promised time.I originally booked him a month in advance because I knew most of Bay Area was moving due to Covid, yet, he flaked and strung me along until it was way too late to find anybody else.In the end I had to have my family drop their work and help me with a Uhaul. I was in distress and felt so bad for my family.
