I encountered a very unpleasant situation this morning. The assistant at the store, it seems, named Jennifer, showed unprofessionalism in her attitude towards me as a costumer. She didn’t help me tell me where I could find the product I was looking for, she behaved indecently and was impudently rude to me. and did not want to help me until the end, ignoring my requests for help with payment. I really ask the store administration to hire competent and adequate employees who at least know the minimum, this is respect for the client and older people. I hope the management will not leave this case to avoid the repetition of such inconvenient cases in the future! Thanks

Pharmacy assistants lack professionalism and communication skills over the phone. I called to inquire when my prescription would be ready since I was in the area. Instead of informing me they hadn't yet received a prescription yet, the pharmacy assistant spoke to me as if we were in high school saying she didn't know, in the tone of "how am I supposed to know?!". She spoke as if I was bothering her, I could practically hear her rolling her eyes. I had my phone on speaker and the person I was with was even surprised at her uncalled for and unnecessary rudeness.

so I just came from the CVS, I am on my iPad typing this, I went to go get pills for my mom, and the girl said that the pills don't have any insurance and that they would cost $100, however she said it very rudely, and was being very disrespectful to me, so I told her I could use my credit card asking if there is one on file, but she kept on spewing the f****** insurance is not on file thing eventually I said f*** it and left

I had a PCR visit at the drive through window at the CVS on Delaware Ave. in San Mateo. The reservation process was easy, the sample collection in the car was well explained and thorough, the communication about the status of my sample and accessing my results was excellent and quick. All were done using my smart phone I highly recommend this place for testing. I did find having a small scissors handy due to my deteriorating small motor skills.

Overcharged on two items out of three with two discount coupons taken at register but not applied to purchase.Poor Covid protocol at registers side by side with no separation and customers elbow to elbow.Avoid this cvs store for safety and economy.

I came here for my COVID vaccine and the pharmacist was amazing! Mona was the woman doing it and she helped me with my fear of needles so much. Great at her job! Highly recommend!!

Incredibly poor service in pharmacy. Notifications that prescriptions are ready when they are not. Multiple requests for mailing. Multiple apologies but after 5 years no resolution.

Went in yesterday 11/12 at around 12:40pm . I went in trying to buy a mask before my eyelash app . The old Lady at the register was so rude kept talking to me like I was stupid and I asked her where are the mask and she yelled "RIGHT THERE " like I understand we're in a pandemic but there no reason to be so disrespectful.......By the way she was working on the right side of the cashier :)

This review is specifically regarding the flu shot service offered by the pharmacy. We live close by and use this store as our main pharmacy for medications and most of our drug store needs. We received an e-mail soliciting their flu shot service so we followed the instructions made a 1:15pm appointment at this location the day before using their online service and even received a reminder confirming the time and date. Upon arrival we were told that the pharmacist had gone on lunch and wouldn't be available for at least 30 minutes and they couldn't do anything because they had to give them a lunch break. They apologized but stated that lunch is taken between 1:00 to 2:00pm daily and no flu shots are given at that time. When told about the appointment they stated it was the corporate system and that they didn't get notified of the appointment. One of the employees stated "this happens all the time". When asked about what their process with the online system was the representative speaking to us did not answer the question and seemed unclear of what the procedure was. She did apologize several times and referred us to the manager. He apologized and stated he would escalate the problem to corporate. We were not able to stay and wait so was not able to get the shot. At best their system is broken and communication is poor between the employees, the management and the corporate level. It appears this was not the first occurrence but nothing was done to fix this.

This is primarily a CVS for prescription fills so they tend to have drugs in stock that a chain pharmacy normally wouldn't. They have the best pharmacists of any chain pharmacy I've used, quick, efficient prescription fills and drive through pharmacy service. However they only have the essentials in the store itself.

Just moved to the community and have been a long time customer of Walgreens. Thought I give this place a try since a Walgreens is not close by.Being new to this place, I began to walk towards the back where the pharmacy is located. Prior to this I took the steps of advising Walgreens of my intentions of moving and trying out CVS. So I made the necessary changes to start receiving my prescriptions at CVS.As I began to look to see the operation, I noticed that there were approximately two people who were being helped. No problem right? Wrong! Instead of being greeted, a loud firm voice asked, "Sir are you here for a flu shot!?" I guess that was an indirect indication to me or another way of saying, "Why are you standing here?!" I replied , No to her assumption. I told her I was waiting for a prescription pick up. I guess my bad for being new and more observant to where I should have been standing. Perhaps, after giving the pharmacy tech that answer, an appropriate response would have been. "Ok sir, could I get you to stand over there?"I do want to commend the cashier who initially helped me. Although she was trying to help, there were some items that I had plenty of., I didn't need extra meds if not necessary. I guess this is where some employees and techs get triggered. It's kind of saying, " Please don't tell me that! Your making my job harder!" Well I'm sorry, I don't need items that I already have, maybe Walgreens made an error? I guess things started to get hard so the cashier needed an expert tip by the tech. So the thing that I really dislike is when someone is trying to give some advise how to resolve the problem and instead of asking a question directly to you they say...."Did you ask him this that or another!" While I'm in front of both of them. I would say that if it is a training issue, a teachable moment would be showing the employee by setting the example. In addition, of being ignored when the tech asks a direct question of did you have any questions for the pharmacist? And you say no but have a question for a glucose meter and get no response is downright rude! I'm sorry, the pharm tech did not give me that warm fuzzy feeling but more of I'm dealing with your annoying meds and your being tough on us because your making us work harder.In the end the pharmacy tech did manage to answer the question and how to resolve my problem. First impressions are golden. I'll wait to see if I get more warm and fuzzy feelings about this place.

I dropped by earlier today as I was looking for a product called Bag Balm, and did a search on my phone and was directed to this CVS store. I had trouble finding it but the two younger guys working together found it for me and just wanted to say thanks for the service and for me not having to go somewhere else to find it. I came home and applied the balm after showering and actually, really like it. Thanks CVS....for great customer service!
