This place has gone downhill over the past year. Hold time on phone was over 30 min. No consistent staff so if something isn't right, told "sorry, this isn't my site so can't help you. " the last icing on the cake today was being told it's insurance, go deal with it yourself. I will be moving my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

LOL. This pharmacy. If you want efficiency, go here! Okay, laughing aside, review of my experience is below. Location: This pharmacy is inside of a Target in a large shopping center. When you enter the store, the pharmacy is on the far left corner. Appointment: There were lots of available appointments for a vaccination so I booked an appointment at this location. The check in process was pretty quick and I was asked to wait off to the side, in a "vaccination area." The vaccination area is a little section comprised with a divider around one chair, a bench to the side, and a few chairs nearby (for some reason each of the chairs were stacked on another). Service: The pharmacist was kind but seemed very rushed even though no one was in front of me. She confirmed 3x which vaccination I was receiving and made sure that my doctor had my updated information. In regards to aftercare, she was very vague and said my potential symptoms were like my previous vaccinations (this was for a series). There was no need for monitoring or recommendations, just goodbye! haha. Later on, I realized that they had answered the screening questions for me too. How convenient, haha. So, all in all I got what I needed, but some of their practices were odd (and concerning). Be prepared to be treated subhuman and lower your overall expectations or you'll leave frustrated and disappointed. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for another COVID vaccination and for some reason they were unprepared when I arrived. No greeting just someone yelling from inside the pharmacy something close to what sounded like my name, then "What are you here for?". I was told to "Take a seat" twice although they weren't near ready. Another person came over and started slamming boxes of bandaids on the counter and I realized I didn't want her near me with a needle so I left. Filty place with huge piles of trash on the floors. Cardboard boxes filled with trash, bags of garbage piled up, dirty counters, staff with nasty attitudes who don't have it in them to speak respectfully.

Staff is great and Service is great when they are fully staffed... BUT the cash register and check out counter are FILTHY. Please wipe them down. You are handling medication that patients ingest. I am horrified to think what your backroom looks like. It's not sanitary. PLEASE DISINFECT YOUR COUNTER AND CASH REGISTER ASAP. Theyre gathering dust and mold. YUCK!

The pharmacy staff is always very helpful and kind. If you have any questions, the staff always helps you. If the customer service not sure , they always double check with pharmacist.

Made a 12:15 PM PT appointment online for a Covid vaccine booster today. When I got there, they said they were running 45 minutes behind. I ended up waiting there 1 hour and 15 minutes before I got my shot. They may have have forgotten about me until I went and asked after waiting one hour. The staff working there were fine and were very busy today, but I wish they could keep their appointment times and give more accurate estimates of delays. Otherwise, the pharmacy vaccine area was clean, spacious and modern.

Hi my name is Carrie, I have to frequent the pharmacy often for multiple conditions. I have become a loyal customer of the CVS Bridgepoint in the Target in San Mateo, CA. The customer service is absolutely on point, especially from Jon Pierre. He always goes above and beyond! Most recently I was due for a refill on lidocaine patches. Jon Pierre was proactive in ordering the specific brand that I prefer providing EXCEPTIONAL and efficient service. He acknowledges the presence of all customers, he is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and highly efficient. It’s not often you can find all these positive traits in one person. Tina the pharmacist is the best . Always helpful and friendly and remembers us. The front desk staff needs more training on being friendly and welcoming . Not that they need to but it's always nice to be recognized when you go there every 3 weeks !! Not sure about cleaning between customers and their hand sanitizer is super smelly strong! Social distancing between will call and pick up needs work. Probably not their fault since they are inside Target and that's a busy store. It is one of the better pharmacies as there is always parking outside and it is inside Target .

I don't know why this CVS Bridgepoint gets low ratings. It is the best one around. Usually no lines, quick processing, and pleasant staff. Plus you can shop at Target while they work on your prescription!

Price for Fosamax generic is 4 times the price at Costco. Beware! Use GoodRx Coupon and go to Costco. Staff at this CVS is rude, and can hardly speak English. Very expensive lesson. Do not shop here.
