“My wife and I were married at the San Mateo Arboretum in June of 2019, it just occurred to me I should post a review! We were very happy with the venue, we had the wedding out in the garden with about 52 people. We used the Pump House to stage things, and had the buffet tables outside. We were able to bring in a catering truck with a pizza oven, and the caterer provided the servers to stage the food and serve the drinks. Our contact helped us with the logistics and was there for the event, when there was an issue with another event in the park blocking the access she quickly worked it out with them and got the path cleared. There are some limitations to work with: no real kitchen for cooking, no dishwashing, and the interior would be cramped for 45 people, so hope for clear weather and bring a mobile caterer. Don't expect to play really loud music or have a big dance party on the grass. But for a small low-key wedding the garden is fantastic, and makes a wonderful backdrop. The price is very affordable, and we were able to book it with 4 months notice, so it was a very good option for us... Highly recommended if it fits your needs!”

“Little Wonders is so much more than just another activity with your child. You get to play and engage with your child all while learning about the different developmental milestones. My child is so excited every time we go to class. Little Wonders has connected me to a community that helped me to grow as a mom and navigate all the challenges that come with parenthood.I cannot express how special Little Wonders is and I wish every parent of a young child could experience something like it. Like the old saying goes you don't get a manual on how to take care of your newborn but Little Wonders might be the closest thing to that.If you're thinking about taking a class with your child, don't hesitate you will be so glad you did!”

“My father-in-law Alex was in Maryland Home for just 24 hours, but during that short time, I was very impressed with the staff. They are so compassionate, dedicated and attentive, both to the patients and to the families. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and well equipped, clean and comfortable. Thank you Maryland Home for being there for Alex and for the family. We truly appreciate you.”

“I'm an avid thrifter and this is one of the better thrift stores I've come across. Everything is pretty reasonably priced for what it is, especially compared to Goodwill and other thrifts. They definitely do price certain items a little higher (name brands, new with tags, etc.) but it's not as terrible as most other places, and still a place I'd recommend to find some treasures on a budget. The store is clean and nicely organized. I went on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't too busy and not super loud/hectic. Can't speak for weekends or other popular times. The store is predominantly womens' clothes. They have a good variety in brands, prices, and types of clothing. They have a good mix of vintage and more "modern, trendy" brands and styles. The child and men's section is a little on the smaller side, so if you're primarily looking for that, you won't have as much luck. Though I am on the younger side, I do enjoy how this store doesn't try to cater to my age group or "trends", so they attract a more considerate customer base in my opinion. I didn't interact with the employees aside from checkout but the woman was very nice :)”

“I truly do not have enough words for this organization and the humanitarian love, respect, and amazing people involved. Each day, I keep on reminding myself that I will pay-forward in the countless ways that they have supported me. CORA Center, and their remarkable staff, are those I pray for everyday. They are selfless, operate with kindness, and I remain blessed to cross their path. It was an honor to have the opportunity to engage with them, and even knowing, that if I ever need them again.”
