This place is AMAZING!!! Such an incredible selection of vintage furniture, home goods, decor, glassware, bags, and tons more along with some more modern stuff from brands like Crate and Barrel, Hearth & Hand, etc. The more you look, the more you’ll find.The store owner Valerie was also so kind and friendly - she helped me look for things and even helped me carry everything out to my car! Definitely plan to come back.

They used to show photos of this fascinating place. About 5 years ago, I had to move, and donated years worth of Christmas decorations, glassware, and vintage items from the 1950s, both mine and many years worth I had inherited from my parents. I just wanted them to go somewhere where I felt they would be at home, and I appreciate this lovely space, which Valerie and her dad have cared for such a long time. It's too bad people have had a difficult time finding it open. I never had a problem, but I lived not too far away, so it wasn't as difficult as some might experience.

Such a pleasant surprise to find this hidden gem of a shop. So many eclectic treasures, just one trip to the secret hideaway is not enough to see it all. From an abundance of beautiful crystal to vintage beaded purses. Loads of estate jewelry and newer baubles for that special gift.Vintage galore!!!Outside is a Gardner’s delight with reasonably priced succulent plants and pots for an artful flare to your backyard.This is a must visit while in downtown San Mateo grab a coffee at Peets and wander around for a bit in this unique place….

The place is very cute but buyer beware. Before purchasing anything of value i would definitely do a quick search to see the going rates on ebay or other collectable sites. We purchased a scrimshaw tucks that was touted as being ivory. Turns out you can't sell ivory, it's illegal, and the tusk wasn't ivory. We spent almost $200 on a item we could have bought for $40 on ebay. Super bummed, but lesson learn.

Amazing antique shop, great prices and friendly staff. I had an amazing haul if antiques that are contributing to my art projects. Very cute dog named Luna was in for a short while.I have been to many thrift shops and antique stores this one was by far one of the best organized ones and I look forward to many future visits!

Valerie Hinton has run this business for 27 years. This store IS open from 11-5 pm and they have so many beautiful interesting things. When I visited the store was full of Christmas decor- everything from little tiny houses that light up with the battery switch, bird statues, birds with crowns, nested eggs with crowns , do you see a theme? I think she really likes nature. Prices were really good. $10-12 for the bird statue to $125 for antique rocking horse with real stirrups and a pleather salad and reins made in Poland. I was looking for a green pitcher to put flowers in and found a cream colored one instead. Also a lot of jewelry- estate. Will be back again.

Amazing store and so many finds. Easy street parking and great hours especially if you have time to browse around. Valerie and her dad are so kind and knowledgeable of all things vintage. Such a wealth of hidden treasures. Please check out this place for gifts and some things for yourself too. Wonderful, fabulous and beautiful shop.

A charming store with a wonderful collection of fine China, decor, jewelry and even plants! They have live music every 3rd Friday of the month until 8 PM.
