Terrible. Bank rep laughed and said “great! We are closed this friday. Didn’t know that. I don’t have to work that day. Yes! Haha. Did you want to come in on Thursday instead?” “ no I just said I can’t.” It was very unprofessional.

WORST BANK EVER. I went there to open a checking account. They opened it for me but after 4 days, I received a call that we cannot verify your Social security card and we have to lock your account and will close it after 30 days if you don't show us the SSN card. Imagine a big bank like Citi cannot verify my SSN eventhoughIalreadyhaveacreditcardwith them. I provided my W2 and they didn't accept it since it was not the last year W2. My last year W2 only shows my last 4 digits of SSN. I offered to send them the picture of my SSN card or any other documents that show my SSN in them like Tax returns or credit reports. They said I must be there at their office and show them the SSN card and they have to see the SSN card. I never had such an issue with any other banks. Don't do any business with them.

Not a very friendly staff.I walked in to the bank right at the opening and I said GOOD MORNING!They didn’t even acknowledge me or said GOOD MORNING back!Not a very happy Costumer but they do want my business ?

I avoid this branch whenever possible and go to San Carlos instead. Unfortunately, San Carlos is closed on Saturdays for the time being.

Just moved here for a new job, super hard to open a bank account here. The banking manager was super friendly and helpful in opening an account for me, but thats the only good thing i have to say about citibank. They locked my account on the friday before a long weekend, i have to scramble around borrowing money from friends as the account manager at the bank did not know how to resolve my issue. I called the bank multiple times on following Tues which is today, but it only got through to a human 1 time out of 7 times i called. Right now i am waiting in another branch with my proof of address letter with no signs of this issue being resolved at all. If there is a way to give 0 stars i would do it.

I would give this place no stars if I could. There are no Citibanks in the town I live in so this is the closest branch. I waited 20 minutes to find out teller couldn't help with address change. Only 1 teller in the middle of the afternoon when there are 6 people in line. Account manager disappears right when I go over there. Waited another 20 minutes. That's why I never go to the bank! Online only.

I left work early so I could get to this bank before 5PM. I arrived around 4:30pm last Friday 8/3/2018. When I walked in I had to find someone to help me. I'm use to BofA employees jumping all over me to get my business, but this was not the case. I finally walked up to Bao Nguyen's desk and asked him if I could open a credit card. After giving my information and signing the paperwork, he told me that it was too late in the day and that my application status was "Pending Review." He said he would call me Saturday morning to let me know the status. After waiting all weekend, I decide to call him on Tuesday 8/7/18 to find out the status of my application. He says he doesn't have any updates for me but he would call me back tomorrow to provide an update. Today is Friday 8/10/18 (7 days since I applied for the credit card) and I still have not heard back from him. I called him around noon and his co-worker told me he was on lunch, which is understandable. She took down my name and number and said she would have Bao call me back when he get's back from lunch. It is now closing time, and I am so upset I had to come here to write my negative review. Bao Nguyen is a liar and does not care about me, you, or any customer. He's a direct reflection of the horrible management at this bank; and this bank is a direct reflection of Citi Bank's lack of customer service. I would not go back to this bank, walk next door to Wells Fargo, or down 2 blocks to BofA instead for real customer service where you're treated like a decent human being.

So disappointing, on my lunch break I came to Citibank to speak with a banker. I walked in the bank in a good mood,and left pissed off. I walked into the bank and was not greeted by any staff. There were 3 personal bankers, so I walked to one of them and asked if I should just sit and wait for someone to help me.The man said yes, he never took his eyes off the computer screen. I sat down and 5 minutes turned into 17 minytes . The other banker wason the phone laughing at times. The third banker was doing something on the computer. They were not directly working with customers so I thought my needs should have been met. This was a waste of my lunch break, not to mention another customer comes in the branch and was instantly helped by a personal banker. sorry Citibank but you lost a potential customer.

OMG worst customer service for a bank i have ever experienced. So here i am 4:25 on a Friday the only time i can come open a checking account. there is like 5 staff members here 3 tellers and 2 finacial managers. there is only me and another customer working with financial manager. the other financial manager at the citgold cubicle is just sitting there talking to another citibank employee and im with my thumb up my a** waiting to be helped. The teller said that the other financial manager is at lunch. the bank closes at 5pm. who takes a lunch 30 minutes before the bank closes? what kind of customer service is this? im trusting u with my money and u treat me like s**** now its 4:30 and another financial came who cant help us either. finally Bao Nguyen comes and helps us but im already mad for waiting 30 minutes for this guy. this place. this place is some b********
