“The company has a special discount program where an exterior wash is inexpensive. Frankly speaking, it is difficult for me to distinguish car washes by the quality of washing, so for me it all comes down to price. That's why I think this is a normal car wash”

“Brandon and his team did a great ceramic coating on my car! The car looks flawless and very shiny. It was very easy chatting with Brandon about the different options, and he provided a very reasonable quote. The job was done perfectly. Brandon also took the time to explain how to wash and care for the car myself. Overall great experience.”

“I stopped by here because it was close by and I'm glad I did! They hand wash the car prior to going into the automated washer/rinser and even hand dry. I got the Lucky Duck wash (does not include interior vacuum) and it was a great value. Mila behind counter was stellar! I won't go to any other carwash again - incredible wash/customer service.”

“I have an old 1970 Datsun 510 that hadn't been detailed in several years and Kevin brought the paint back to life. He even had the patience to deal with me locking the keys in the trunk. Even though I live in the east bay, I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here.”

“Affordable with extremely hard working employees. Have gone other places in the area, stopped here randomly for a wash and they buffed out a scratch that had been on my car for a year!”

“I'm taking off 0.5 star; although they have an air compressor, I've never seen it working. This is where I usually get gasoline. LOTS of pumps, room to maneuver car, SNACKS! Usually just a few cents more than Costco gas - like maybe 10 cents/gallon. Pay at pump so you don't even need to talk to anyone!”

“Does the job. Would be nice if machines took card and were a little more modern, but $5-10 for a thorough wash and only a few minute’s wait for a stall, I can’t complain too much.”

“I’m pretty particular about my car and prefer to clean it myself because I rarely, if ever find someone to clean it the way I would. I only got the basic detail package and my expectations were far exceeded. I’m extremely impressed with the work they did, my car hasn’t been this clean in quite a while. Living in SF, it’s not as easy to clean my car myself, and I’m very happy to have found a place that takes care of my car the same as I would. Highly recommend Luxury Detail!”

“This is or local Shell Gas station and we fill 90% of our gas here. In the past, there were some issues with the pumps not auto-filling and you had to hold down the lever. For 20 gallons, this would start to hurt your hands. Thankfully they have fixed this issue. I get my car washed here also and have never had an issue. If you sign up for a car wash, you get 20 cents off per gallon. This is also a great place to buy lottery tickets or a soda for the road. My family is pretty happy with this Shell.”

“Greatly needed edition to the downtown area. It's on Union, but the gas pumps face State Street. Wanted to throw that in there to give orientation because all the streets downtown are one-way. Unlike some other convenience stores (there aren't many) downtown, this one is nice and clean. It's your typical Shell, so you'll find the usual. Yay for Slurpees!! Friendly staff. Nice place to stop for gas or a snack.”

“We lived in a single family house before and used a regular hose and cleaning supplies from chemical brothers (or something like that). It took a long time for me washing my large pickup truck with a cab or even our small crossover.I think it took me 1-2 hours usually. This carwash you don't really need anything besides microfiber towels and timer incentives you to work fast, and it's easy to work fast because of high pressure and swivel for the hoses. So I was done in less than 20 minutes (not including microfiber wiping after).I think I spent a bit under $20 for it and I washed everywhere, including their triple something conditioner. But realistically you just go there, wash it with high pressure and foam brush, runse it and at home apply your own wax with a microfiber. This can probably be done in 10 minutes.”
