Nancy at Abbey Floors in San Mateo provides true customer service - something you just don't see anymore in a business. We have her handle all our flooring/carpets and she has been amazing. Recently, when one of our floors began to have problems (manufacturer issue) and the manufacturer refused to take responsibility, Nancy stepped in and worked it out. You can't put a price on great customer service and you don't realize how important it is until you need it. Thank you!!A very grateful customer

I used Abbey Flooring to put vinyl flooring in my condo unit. Because I live on the second floor of a condo I wanted insulation and resilient flooring. Abbey worked with me allthe way through. Tara Edel is a flooring expert and guided me patiently to make the right choices. This company is very professional and respectful. The people who laid the flooring were neat and detail-oriented. I love my new floors! Thanks to Abbey for the excellent quality and care they provide. Highly recommend them.

Dreadful experience in their showroom. We want a hardwood floor - but woman was pretty pushy on engineered wood. When I asked her the price, she told me it was $0.50 off. Off what??? 'I'd have to look it up'! We waited over 20 mins for her to tell us - and she helped several other people in between. We expect to spent over $20k - but not with someone so unhelpful and so dismissive and rude.

We had a wonderful experience buying carpet at Abbey Carpet in San Mateo. Nancy is exceptional. She had a huge selection of carpeting in the store. We wanted to have the new carpeting installed in our condo before moving in. With only one week before moving day she was able to order the carpeting from the factory in Georgia, get expedited trucking service and arrange for installation one day before moving in. The carpeting is beautiful and the installers did a fantastic job. We highly recommend Nancy

Ordered some Congoleum flooring from here, and worked directly with Nancy. She was fantastic - extremely responsive, followed up on all my questions about inventory, delivery, with her rep. I had called 5 different places the same morning trying to locate the flooring I needed, and Nancy followed up the same day (went to her rep twice with follow up questions). The others never even gave a call back, and I was happy to do my business here.Even though the delivery to warehouse was delayed (out of their control), I was updated right away when the tiling and other materials arrived, and my contractor was able to pick up with no problems. Can't wait to see it installed.Thank you Nancy and warehouse team!

We just had some carpet installed by Abbey Carpets. Not only did they move my job up and get it completed ahead of time, but the installer did an amazing job. The guy worked really hard, was detailed and did a very clean installation. The owner Nancy was great to work with too. Highly recommend Abbey Carpet & Floor!
