I went down to South Bay airstream at about a 4:45. I came in wanting to just like to get some information and said I could come back later and see some airstreams another day when I'm in town. Rafael said no I can show you whatever you'd like to see, and proceeded to walk me through several Airstreams until 6 o'clock. He was informative and caring. and met my needs. When the time comes, I will be happy be back there to buy an airstream and I will buy it from Rafeal because of the service he gave me. His manager stayed there with him as well, and she was quite wonderful as well. She looked up a used Globetrotter for me and I really appreciated the service I got there.

So far, so good. They didn't have parts let's see how long it takes to get it in.

I purchased an Airstream Interstate from friends a few years ago, everything worked great. We recently took the vehicle in for its 40k service and realized most of the vehicle wouldn't be serviced by Mercedes. South Bay Airstream Adventures provides a multi-point inspection for all the coach devices for just $185. Luckily nothing was found so that was our 'out the door' price, I couldn't be happier.

Sad to say I wound up purchasing from another dealer. They were really responsive and reached out when they had units in stock that I was interested in. That's where it stopped. Drove almost 3 hours to go see 2 units only to have our sales person pass me off to someone else after I had been talking with them for a few months. Had one of the units shown and sold right out from under me when we arrived first. Also came to find out that the other unit was sold the day before after they confirmed I was coming to see both of them that very morning. Needless to say they were able to secure a unit for me to be delivered in a few weeks. It all went downhill from there which I won't get in to. Was hoping to do business with them but wound up getting better service closer to home even though I waited longer. To be fair they "tried" to make it right but not with what I would expect with no response for days. Hope you don't have the same experience since they seemed like nice people.

These guys certainly are the best! Luis is a magician! I was in a desperate situation with my van’s generator, I drove on the highway from another service place and saw them from the road, stopped by and they fixed my generator. Thank you guys for helping me! You earned my business!

We were traveling, camping nearby when an urgent issue popped up. Found them nearby and got in same day, could have been several days to fix but did it in one day. Super helpful, knowledgeable, willing to be of service... all of them. Sort of new so not too busy which was nice. We were on our way for the rest of the trip coincident in the repair. If you're in the area use them!

We have a super wobbly dinette table that we have tried to fix, but cannot. It isn't just a little tilt: The thing tilts almost two inches side to side, and we can't use it. I and my husband have called four times now, and do you think we've gotten a response? Nope, not a thing. I guess once they get your $170k CASH, they're done with you. This has been the worst, most frustrating and disappointing customer service experience EVER. It makes me so sad because I have wanted an Airstream for decades; when we finally get one, this is how we're treated. Unacceptable. I thought Airstream was better than this, but clearly, the joke's on me. :-(

This place has had my Airstream for almost 4 months for service. I totally understand that things are difficult during Covid, but I can't get anyone to return my calls and I need to post this rating in hope to get a response.

They've had our Airstream in for repairs for almost four months, and haven't been returning our calls. Now we finally get in touch and they're saying some of the work they had committed to doing is not covered and they won't do it. The majority of the rest of the work hasn't even been started. We'd been planning to take it out on spring break, but we have no idea when we'll even get it back. I'm at a loss.

This has been a terrible experience from all service aspects. Went there for warranty work on my RV and twice had mentioned the Blinds were out of sequence worked poorly and needed adjustments. Twice i mentioned this and it never got done nothing. First time I took it there they said that I needed a new awning motor and that they would need me to bring it back once the part came in. Then once part arrived I drove in back in left it for almost three weeks! Follow thru was terrible. Was told it would be faster if I agreed to have them take my unit from San Martin to Fairfield where they had technicians that could do the service faster. This clearly didn't happen and upon sending emails back and forth itching but the run around and it was even mentioned that maybe it just needed a motor adjustment and the motor wasn't bad after all? What the heck does this mean? If if could have been adjusted then why not do that the last time the unit was in their facility. The extended warranty has been a total waste of money I expected more from a 10k warranty. Twice the unit had a blown fuse which it never had before I had brought it in. Humm. First time was for a faulty tank monitor that stopped working, I was told it needed a fuse. When I picked up the unit and drove a short distance to the gas station I checked to see if the tank monitor was working and nothing! I called the dealership and they said bring it back. So I turned around and waited for the service tech to change the fuse on the house battery? What am I missing here. I had tried unsuccessfully to get the items taken care of on my Airstream Interstate and now face having to drive much further out of town to find another more responsible dealership. Is this an Airstream thing or what? It appears that they are all Terrible. I would think twice about the reputation and service ability before soaking a 150-200k into one of these units. Or checking around for service referrals from satisfied customers!

We just purchased our second Airstream from this dealer, and our second buying experience was even beter than our first (which was great). Not only was it easy to agree on price at the time of order, they held to it when it came time to pick it up some months later. Although they can't do anything to control the production delays, they did a wonderful job keeping us updated regularly as timelines shifted. All told, it is about 6 months from order to pickup for us. The highlight of our purchase experience was working with Kenneth for our orientation. He was extremely knowledgable and thorough, but also understood this wasn't our first Airstream and was respectful of our time and didn't rehash something if we communicated we understood the feature. He was good to clarify when there were slight differences between the model we were coming from to the new one. Also a fun note, Kenneth is one of two people who have ever sold me a dealer-sold accessory in any car, truck, or RV transaction. Kudos to Kenneth for being great to work with, and getting his dealer an extra accessory sale while meeting a need we had.

My experience at South Bay Airstream Adventures has so greatly exceeded my expectations. I am used to being pressed by dealerships for the sale. Instead I felt truly educated by Melissa W. She answered every question I had clearly and sought out the information from others when needed. Needless to say I am so happy that we chose this dealership to purchase our first Airstream from.

We were really excited to make the decision to get an Airstream and order one. We are questioning that decision in light of the many issues our brand new Airstream came with and the number of issues with this dealer. Initially we were interested in a used one to use last summer, and after deciding to focus on acquiring it, we were told it was no longer available. Then we were told it was available and to hurry to make a final decision. I did not like the pressure tactics so we started looking elsewhere. I complained about the tactics to the sales manager and she offered to help me buy a new unit to get a 3- year warranty and not have any issues... So the new one arrived about 5 months later and we were told that it was not necessary to hire our own inspector because they would inspect it and fix any issues. But here is the catch--they have you sign the papers before their "inspection." A few problems were readily visible and they promised to fix it while they kept it for another two weeks, after we signed the sales agreement and were hooked into the obligation to purchase. The obvious problems with the unit were chipped enameled cabinet doors, a front door that was so out of alignment that you could see a sun ray coming through and the main galley storage sliding cabinet was not plumb--it was sticking out. These were supposed to be fixed during this 2 week interval but were not. After two weeks, we were scheduled to arrive for a walk through and then a towing class. We were asked to come in 2 hours earlier to accommodate an employee. So we got up early to arrive at the earlier time, and then sat around for nearly 90 minutes while they finished prepping it. We were starving when the walk through began, which did not include surveying the items that were supposed to be resolved. Most of our time was spent outside learning how to set up the towing device, and use the various drains and other system functions. Once this was over we were supposed to have the tow class. While waiting for that to start, we were asked to sign off on the repairs that were supposed to have taken place--even though we never had a chance to look at the trailer along with the list. We were so hungry at this point, having waited so long for the class to start it did not seem like a good idea to start getting instruction on towing a vehicle. The trailer was towed to our house by the dealer, which was very kind, but in the process of putting it in our driveway broke a planter and dinged the bumper. We then realized that there were other issues with the trailer besides the more obvious ones--which were not fixed during the two weeks they had possession after we paid for the unit. The mattress plastic bag was glued to the gasket between the wall and the mattress, and was torn out once we picked the mattress up to remove the plastic bag. All of the enameled cabinets had had chips and one set of doors were not even. Keep in mind this is a new Flying Cloud that sold at that time for $85k plus tax, etc. The entry door was still out of plumb--it was possible to see sunlight coming through the door. So the unit was picked up a week later and returned for more repairs. We were told it was be 4-8 weeks for the doors to be repaired--its been nearly 6 months since we purchased the unit and it still has not been done. The bumper is still dented, the main pantry door is still out of plumb and the business has had nearly a month with the unit in their possession to perform these repairs. I contacted someone by email at a different Airstream Adventures location who had responded to a review, and got some local representative responding to my email about the lack of response to these issues. The man identified as a VP argued with me about the lack of response from the dealer to repair these items and blamed it all on the manufacturer, Airstream. He was highly argumentative and could not be specific about what would be repaired or when, such as the number of doors that were chipped. Nobody from Airstream Adventures, Morgan Hill has ever responded to my emails w

We are so thankful for South Bay Airstream who took us in and fixed us up right away.We were packed up and ready to start our long trek East and when we realized our water pump wasn’t working. After hours of trying to fix it, we determined we needed a new pump. At this point we were late checking out of our campsite, and hours behind schedule but we had to have a working water pump for our trip. Because of Wally and his team’s outstanding customer service we were able to salvage the day and get in a few hours of driving.Thank you for your help and getting us back on the road!
