“One helpful thing about the store use that it was arranged by topic. If the Japanese garden was your main interest, one section was devoted to it. It made finding books on herbs vs art history very easy to find. It was also very well-stocked. The herbal book we purchased, as well as the art book, we're of high quality. The staff were also very kind.”

List prices on every book I saw... which are outrageous. $50, 60, 70+ on most nice non-fiction books that I saw. If you're rich, you'll love it. If not, it's best to just browse here. “This is another Vroman's store, located on Foothill in Pasadena. It is on one level, in a busy strip mall with a Whole Foods market among other stores.The parking lot on Foothill is a nightmare. It always seems busy and there are cars moving in and out of spaces constantly.I prefer the short walk from the parking lot behind the stores, which is rarely crowded and I can usually find a space quickly without driving around the parking lot searching.This Vroman's location has books divided by type, clearly marked as well as gift items. Pretty much the same merchandise as the original Vroman's, just on the other side of town.”

“If you're walking around Main Street Alhambra, this is a can't-miss spot.Cute little art store in the front, gallery in the back. The gallery rotates to a different artist every month or so, and I've been very impressed by the artists they've been featuring. They often have anime and Disney themed art. If you miss a month, they sometimes put the leftovers in the room upstairs.I'm not the kind of person who pays hundreds of dollars for art, but they also have stickers and prints and other small items more in my price range.”

My daughter attends the science class taught by Mr. Marty and she loves it! I even learn a thing or two when I tune into the class. Both Carolyn and Marty can answer any questions you have regarding homeschooling and curriculum, they even know which charter schools are better than others. Highly highly recommend this place to all parents”

“Found this gem recently. Wish I found this place sooner but glad that I have finally found this place. Although this place has mostly Chinese Christian books and Chinese bibles (that I don't need), but it does have random small cute things that you can buy. Bookmarks, water bottles, wall hangings, a few pens, decorations etc. Not a lot of quantity of every item, so get it while it's still there. Staff is friendly. The lady who helped me is super nice and I really like her a lot. They have Chinese Christian Calendars every year which I didn't know many people order from them. Their customer service is superb. I think all the Chinese churches in LA and OC all come here for their products unlike the other place I went to that closed down near by. I only found this place because of Yelp. So happy and so thankful. I'll be coming here whenever I am in town.”
