My wife went here to pick up photos. When she approached an employee to ask where she can pick up her photos she ordered, the employee held a pointy finger up to basically "sush" my wife, went on the phone, and then started talking to a fellow peer employee laughing and having a separate conversation. With this review as well as all the other low reviews shouldn't just go to upper management but to corporate as well.

I debated whether to let this pass or post, but since it happened a few days ago and it's still on my mind I thought may as well. Does upper management even bother to read reviews? Maybe there is no upper management there?Anyway, I was in the laundry detergent aisle and overheard an elderly gentleman kindly start asking one of the employees a question and she abruptly turned around, cut him off and said "I'M ON MY BREAK..I CAN'T HELP YOU!!!" When he tried to say something further, she repeated her loud response, again in the same loud, rude voice. I was shocked. Who does that??!! So you're on your break...why don't you remove your official blue vest and walk away from the shelves so customers don't mistake you for a "helpful" employee? Or stay in the break lounge to remove all doubt? I couldn't take the rudeness so I went over to the poor gentleman and said "I'll help you! What do you need?" (I could swear I caught the employee glaring at me as I passed her. Shame on you! Perhaps working with the public isn't your calling. But there is no excuse for treating anyone the way you did! Surprisingly the gentleman didn't even act offended as we left her to finish her break. The experience hasn't soured me on this Walmart thus the generous 3 star rating) because the one closer to my neighborhood is even worse. Oh well.

This review is for their Walmart Spark service as a driver picking up at this location. No sense of urgency with curbside pickup, even when I am paid to wait around for 20 minutes (they are losing to Amazon). When someone comes out they usually aren't very friendly. The biggest issue is they will give me a delivery that should have been sent to the Encinitas location for example. The customer will be literally a few miles from that location. The parking lot situation and getting into the center is absolutely horrible as well.

The layout of the location is pretty different compared to most walmarts. I did get a bit lost trying to find what I needed. The lines went by pretty fast and the cleanliness was onpar to regular standards. One thing, they do not have a fresh produce area! I was so sad about this. Other than that, no complaints!

Returning an item I bought online, I had the receipt and item. No box, box was destroyed. On the receipt it said Walmart can provide a box with a friendly notation. I got helped by Greta operator 7959 at the San Marcos CA location and she was such a smart ass about not having a box. Telling me, now she has to go find one and I replied yea, you should have one. Then she had the audacity to reply yea you should've had one when you bought it. I told her obviously I don't have it anymore that's why I'm returning it without a box. Then she replied yea but you might have one in your car. Like are you serious right now? Do you hate your job that much? Then I said instead of wasting peoples time "finding a box" you could finish with my return and help the people behind me. But of course she says no we have other workers to help them. I told her, her customer service is very poor. So salty because she had to find a box LOL! She was so triggered about me not having a box. Y'all got boxes galore.

Do not use their pickup service. They changed a pickup time from 1pm to 5pm and once I arrived and checked in on the app, waited over an hour for my items. The phone number to reach them just rang and rang with no answer. They would not allow me to pick the items up in store. I will never use their pickup service again. Avoid this location. You've been warned.

Not a bad Walmart, but for sure not the best. It's one of those Walmarts that were converted to a super center but really isn't one so it's limited. But for the most part it's decent. It's in a shopping center that houses an abundance of options so that's nice.

I WAS ROBBED OMG I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AT WALMART TODAY!!!! Right when I walked in the local tweaker greeted me when I walked in. The first stop was the clothing section and I knew immediately I had to buy the Pokémon T-shirt that was 2 sizes too small but it had charmander on it so I had to have it. NEXT was the dog food isle I always buy the great value brand as it tastes the best. Finally you know ya boy had to drop in on the hot wheels isle and found NOTHING which was unacceptable...or i thought until Sandra saw my sadness and she said to me that they only restock on every third Tuesday at 6:34pm...soo I'll be back then. As I left the tweaker that greeted me was still there and stole the tasty dog food from me

It's nice to see that they haven't adjusted their prices to reflect inflation. The store is clean and organized. I know what I want and where to get it. Wally World is more fun for me than Disney World! Shorter lines and definitely cheaper prices for food and drink.

Amazing number of products available. Used to love to shop at Walmart with variety and great prices. Unfortunately I now days try to avoid Walmart no matter what I see in the advertisements. The problem is there is no staff to help you, very hard to find the prices of items on the shelves and in general, I often just go home without what I came. Very frustrating. Please Walmart put on a few more customer reps and put the price right with the item so we can quickly decide to buy it.

Horrible experience trying to return an online purchase. I waited in line a long time, as usual. Then, Walmart's system was down so they refused to back their promise to refund my item and to take responsibility for the problem. Instead, manager Bella told me that I had to take it to another store and wait in line, there, after having already waited at her store. I will not be placing any more online orders through Walmart. They have completely lost my business.. The ladies at returns were wonderful but the management was HORRIBLE.

Walmart should make sure their employees ACTUALLY KNOW THE STORE THEY'RE WORKING IN. I went in for some carpet & upholstery cleaning oxi clean, I looked everywhere & couldn't find it so I decided to ask a worker if they were to have it, what aisle it would be in & I showed her a picture of the product & all she said was "if you scroll to the bottom it'll tell you what aisle it's in" ummm what B******* is that?? wasn't help at all & clearly didn't know which aisle it would be in based on her response.

When I do go to Walmart this is not the one I usually go to, but I have had to stop into this Walmart a few times over the years because they had something (allegedly) in stock I wanted/needed. The parking lot is a mess, both the parking area configuration and the ingress/egress onto the property. I had the misfortune of needing a prescription filled and my usual pharmacies were closed. I had never purchased at a Walmart pharmacy and this Walmart was nearby, so I gave it a shot. Being a "new" customer I had to get logged into their system, which was a slight pain in the a*** It probably would have been quicker had the phone not been ringing off the hook incessantly, with people panicking over their "need" to find covid tests (they were out of stock) while the clerk was trying to work with me. That 10 minutes was tiring to me, so I could only imagine how the poor clerk was dealing with that issue (telling me it was all day, non-stop). Anyhow, I digress. I was told it would take about 45 minutes. WTFever. I just plopped my butt down in a chair in the pharmacy section and waited. I soon discovered that not only do they NOT have an electronic board to flash your name when your script was ready, but they don't bother calling out your name either. I succumbed to sitting there, twiddling my thumbs, and people watched to kill time. And Walmart did not disappoint in the "people watching" category, needless to say. It was actually quite entertaining. After 40 minutes I stood back in line (yes, there was a never ending line at the pharmacy counter) and by the time I got up there my 45 minute ready time had expired. I expected to be told it was not ready, as many others before me had been told. I was "pleasantly" surprised it was. I paid and got the heck out of there. I hope I never have to utilize this Walmart pharmacy again. But, if I do, at least I know what to expect.
