HORRIBLE BANKING SERVICE @ THIS BRANCH!!! THE MANAGER CHRIS WILL PUT HOLDS ON BANK CHECK DEPOSITS EVEN WHEN YOUR ACCOUNTS HAS FUNDS TO COVER NSF CHARGES. He wont process request to CLOSE ALL ACCOUNTS. They LIE and make you drive to the bank multiple times 4-5 trips to try to retrieve money. Its been one Month so 20 business days of lies. They refuse to talk and hang up calls!, stay sway from Rocio Reyes, she takes advantage of non speaking English customers. She wont talk to customers rep with customer authorization , poor manners and customer service, uneducated that hangs up calls!!!! Run Away!!!!

By far the slowest, most crowded branch of any bank I have ever been to.Was here to make a business deposit. People in front of my, as did myself, had waited 40 minutes for a teller and the people in front of me were furious as they had wasted their entire 30 minute lunch not even able to deposit or cash their paycheck.Lady wanted my social security number for a deposit? Then when I deposited cash she counted out the cash one by one before putting it into a machine that counts money. So why waste my time hand counting? Also I had 3 checks to deposit, for which the teller made 3 separate deposits for each one. Filled out the deposit slip 3 times. Why not just combine them? It took me a full hour to to make a basic business deposit.Two tellers working at 1:30 in the afternoon? Where was everyone else? The line was out the door and the managers for the two tellers sat their acting like they were working hard as I watched them peer over their screens at customers literally yelling at the tellers of how slow the service was. This branch deserves to close down and I hope the management losses their jobs. I could tell it was horribly mismanaged and didn't really allow any blame to be put on the tellers themselves.Also this branch looks like it was built 40 years ago. For how insanely expensive US Bank is to conduct commercial banking you would think their facilities didn't look older than my parents. Very upset and I miss Union bank which I never thought I would say in my lifetime.

Unfortunately Union Bank got bought out by US Bank. US Bank is not even close to as good as Union Bank was. At Union Bank it was friendly, fast, and going to the ATM or inside the bank was easy and pleasant. It was a nightmare transitioning from Union Bank, where I banked with for decades, to "US" Bank. It's like going from a clean, nice, comfortable car to something found in the junkyard.At this bank there is only one ATM. The ATM is always crowded, and dirty. Inside the bank it looks like a prison, and the service sucks. It reminds of the Dave Chappelle comedy skit, "Pop Copy," but it's real. On top of that, there are no drive thru ATM's either. The bank from outside to inside looks like it hasn't been upgraded since the 1980's. It has a 3rd world feeling and vibe to it. I'm looking for another bank. This bank clearly doesn't care what customers think.

Worse bank ever. Union bank was clean and new, this nightmare looks like something from Tijuana. No drive up , horrible building, tellers from a third world country, clock that does not work and crowded beyond belief. Teller windows look like something from a prison. Will transfer my DDS to another bank later. All the new debit cards they gave me never work or work only at the gas station. Horrible place and it is a disgrace to have this eye sore here in San Marcos .

If you have a choice, don't pick this branch, if you need to deal with opening an account or anything that requires desk, you have to wait for over an hour as they only have one person working that...worst banking experience ever...

Louise B has been the rudest teller I’ve had to deal with. I’ve been banking with this bank since I was a teen they always treat me very nicely. Today was different this will definitely be my last visit to this location would rather go to the Escondido branches instead. I was there for over 40 minutes and nothing got resolved

The worst bank experience, the employees act like you are inconveniencing them. They seem to hire from rejected DMV applications. Long wait times, terrible customer service, overall just a deplorable institution

My mom just died.. I came in to get help about my mom's account and they asked me to get a paper notarized, I asked if I can have the form and they said I had to printed my self!! Compassion is not their suit Customer service not either Sarcastic was on point when someone just died!!! Managers is just a title ... Going above and beyond they don't do.

Closed my account because of how rude, unprofessional and unhelpful David the manager is. He said idc close the account just pay the $30. Let that $30 be more valuable than a client that has been with this bank for 10 years. Closed it and went to chase. US bank has the worst customer service. Especially this branch, which is why I closed my account and never going there again! Plus telling everyone I know about what David the “manager” said. Disappointed

The Best Bank everThe only Bank in San Marcos that you want , no you need to do business with .Fernando the super Professional and knowledgeable Bank Banker really helped sue from Sue Thai Om set up her Business account. She got the great app . He spent the time to help her with all her questions. The people here are soo helpfull . The staff is amazing . Monique is prob the best teller there hands down . Angela is an even better Teller. Well they are all good tellers. They make me feel at home and explain things to someone like me who is not as knowledgeable with Banking and money . But it felt different here. Like they really care. We will be shifting alot of our accounts here.We plan on going back for a Home Loan and get a safety deposit box. Fernando spoke fluent spanish and helped me understand all the rules and conditions. They made sue happy that she had a bank with someone she can talk to . ive been to many banks. But to be honest. Us. Bank is the . i will be doing all my currency exchanges here for quite some time... I feel it is that personal service and the local ties to the community that makes this bank.. The Best bank !!!!!!,
