After waiting over a week for my order it arrived with parts broken. Two lanterns with glass cover broken. Could not receive replacements in time for the planned event. They offered 25% discount.

So I was searching for New Exterior and Interior Doors for the Best price and when I found Best Price and Customer Service I had to jump on it. Only down fall at this location is that they're really SHORT STAFF and never have the Right person in that depart working. I've been in and out of this Home Depot for the pass Month or so and it's always a Hit or Miss I get what I'm looking for done. Management Needs to step it up and Hire/Cross Train more Staff in this depart to be able to keep all customers HAPPY. Home Depot shouldn't just leave all the work for 1 person. This is why it's getting a 2 star.

I normally don't review hardware stores and I normally do not shop at this location, but I had a real great customer service experience. As soon as I walked in the door, someone greeted me and asked if I need help. I normally don't ask for help but I said I needed some assistance with specific light switches and fan controller. The gentleman who covers that area just happened to be standing next to the greeter. He looked at the switches I brought with me and was able to quickly get me what I needed that they had in stock. He identified that the other switch is not something they carry so he identified the model number and I ordered it from Amazon. He was very helpful and friendly. I ended up buying a few other items and was able to check out with minimal wait. Overall, it was a much better and quicker experience than I expected.

Needed to Rent a Flatbed truck to help a good friend of mine transport some cabinets to her garage.Truck Rentals are on a first come first served basis.We called the Vista store who had 1 truck available, but just 15 minutes later upon arrival at the store, someone else got it so we were basically SOL.No one could reserve them so it was a crapshoot, we then drove from Vista Home Depot to San Marcos Home Depot who had 2 trucks fortunately. Had much better service at the San Marcos Store.Funny thing happened at the Rental counter, another customer got it (next to us) and it disappeared from view on Our Rental. Everything panned out after they made their adjustments LOL.Tool Rentals is the Place to reserve a truck (in store).It all worked out, had the truck inside of 2 hours.

Reserved a moving van 2 days ago....I come in this morning and they tell me that "their system is down" and as an added bonus the van I reserved and paid for is nowhere to be found!!! Avoid these clowns and instead drive down the 5 minutes to Penske truck rental instead...save yourself the hassle of dealing with incompetence

This is our go-to Home Depot for our DIY projects. I like that they never give us a hard time when returning items we didn't use. They have a decent plant selection, and they're good at keeping items in stock. My only complaint would be that some of the employees know nothing about home improvement or even a general knowledge of tools or parts. And that becomes a problem when BOTH of us don't know how to find what I'm looking for, haha. Overall, would recommend this HD, but the Carlsbad one has the best plant selection!

I wanted to purchase the new LG tv on sale at Costco but there was no way it would fit in my SUV. So after shopping around for a van/truck rental, turned out that the most convenient and lowest deal was with Home Depot. Made my reservation online. Put a deposit of $150 for the 70 min rental which is less than $20. Once the vehicle is returned, you get the balance back.We arrived a bit early but Richard was very pleasant and accommodating. After showing my ID and insurance coverage, we were set to go. The van was pretty new and very easy to drive. We were able to get the tv in without any trouble. Returned the van to Richard and told him what a pleasant experience we had with him and this set up. Everything worked out and if we ever need a van again, this is where we'll be coming.

Renting tools was awesome. The employee working there was super great forgot his name though. BUT went there another night to get push pins and when I asked where the push-pins were....I was told that Home Depot doesn't sell push pins and to go check the cabinet isle for something similar. Ended up having to go on a scavenger hunt and FOUND PUSH PINS(of course.. it's Home Depot) in a completely different isle. 0/10 for the guy who just simply didn't want to help.

For a month now your saw to cut wood for customers, Has needed a new blade so they leave a sign up out of order, How is it home depot WHO sells saw blades can not put one in the saw. I have to drive 8 miles away to another one. How much money do you lose from not being able to provide this service. STUPID!!!

Flooring is awful! Went and scheduled a measurement, we were never informed there was a $50 measurement fee nor ever charged. When we were waiting for a call for when they were to come I called HD and said "For some reason" the measurement was canceled and was given a $50 credit. I quickly figured out that the HD employee never told us of the measurement fee and never charged us and just gave us the $50 credit when she rescheduled the appointment. We finally got the measurement and they tried to screw us in how much extra carpet we were going to have but the 2nd girl I talked to figured it out and we were satisfied. We PAID for the carpet. FAST FORWARD 2 weeks, no word from them even though we were told carpet be there in about 5-7 days.....When I called they tried to say we did not pay for the carpet. I told the woman"carmen" yes we did pay for it and while on the line I went to banking app to find but we were miraculously disconnected. So once I found the payment I called back AGAIN, 3rd time for the issue. I get a hold of this Carmen person and she says she did not know how we got disconnected but she sees there was a "glltch" In the system about the carpet purchase. She says there is nothing she can do as she is the night time manager. I had been warned how bad HD flooring is and should have nixed the whole thing after the measurement screw up. They will supposedly calling me by 9am tomorrow to rectify the situation! I highly doubt I will get a call by then!

5 stars for their customer service staff! Ordered a fireplace glass doors but somehow got two delivered and my husband accidentally returned the wrong one. Long story short, Home Depot staff went above and beyond to locate the fireplace glass that I wanted in time for us to install it. Especially Veronica I believe was her name, her and another customer service staff were so understanding and found it even though we had almost given up on finding it before it was mailed back!

I needed to rent a cargo van last minute. I had made a reservation with another company and was later told they had no vehicles available. I called several other places with the same result. I finally booked a reservation via the Home Depot website. I called immediately afterward to confirm the vehicle availability. The woman on the phone put me at ease and made the process so easy, confirming that there would be no vehicle shortages. When I finally came to pick up the vehicle, I was able to make changes to my reservation. Again, the woman behind the counter put me at ease and walked me through the process so easily. I don't know if it's the way Home Depot operates or if it was this woman in particular, but I had a great experience.
