This review is specifically for Bernardo. We looked around at several stores and while all had great salesmen and women, and we were pleased with each one, Bernardo stood out for sure! He was very pleasant and you could tell he not just wanted to sell you a spa, but he actually wanted you to find the right one. After our first visit, he got an idea of what we wanted and told us some other stores to check out. We did, and we found plenty of other spas that would fit the bill, but ultimately he was willing to work with us on price and get us something in our budget that we could be happy with.

We purchased a Caldera Spa from them. Our sales rep Bernardo was awesome! It was our first time purchasing a spa. Bernardo helped us and guided us through the process and got us the perfect hot tub. I really can't say enough good things about this store, they have a great selection of quality spas and patio furnishings. I've been in love with the spa since the day it was delivered. I use it everyday. This is absolutely one of the best purchases I've ever made. If you're thinking about getting one just do it. I whole heartedly recommend The Spa and Patio Store. Thanks Bernardo!

The Spa and Patio store retained my $10,000 deposit on a swim spa which I was told could be applied to another spa - nothing was said about which spa I could choose or a time limit as to when I needed to use the credit . I even came in to look at small spas and the salesman Bernardo who gave me the credit helped me He never mentioned I needed yo buy a large spa or any limitations. Now I'm being told unless I buy a very expensive swim spa that I cannot use my $10,000 I tried to call the store after reading the owner's comments . I asked to speak to the owner Michelle. I was told she is the owners wife and I need to talk to the owner. And that he will be back in a few days - whatever that means. . I had tried talking to him prior to this and was told by a salesperson that they did not know when he will return - whatever that means . Next year , What? Don't buy from them as you are subject to the vacillations of a mom and pop small store . Go to Costco. Refunds and no runaround.

As a result of my original Yelp posting, The Spa & Patio Store (owner) reached out to me to address the failing Leisure Concepts CoverMate III lifter system. He was able to work with another vendor (not Leisure Concepts) to supply me with replacement parts to fix the damaged lifter system (arms). So the problem that I had with the cover lifter has been solved for now (the Leisure Concepts CoverMate III design does not work well at all with BullFrog spas, and I do not recommend it). While it shouldn't have taken as much effort as it did on my part to solve this particular problem, The Spa & Patio Store did eventually support me. Adjusting my rating upward accordingly.

Buyer beware. Your deposit will be gone if you change your mind or if you would like to apply it to something else within the store. Last year my husband and I put a deposit down on a $10,000 spa. The spas were sold out and there was a wait list for months to receive the spa. We got on the waitlist and our spa was ready earlier than we thought a few months later. We had an issue with our old spa getting picked up by Costco and to coordinate the move was a nightmare in itself. We let them know and to pass us up for others who would be anxiously awaiting the same spa we ordered. It was easily sold to the next person.... So nothing lost to the store.... in the meantime I asked multiple times if we could apply our deposit to other items in the store. I desperately wanted new patio furniture and asked if I could instead apply it there. They said no. It's unfortunate I had to write this review. Hopefully, it will earn others that your deposit is forfeited completely and there is no chance to use it toward other items in their store.

I have stated below why I do not recommend this business. In addition, Michelle, who was not involved with the sale or follow up on our spa purchase, replied about a phone call I had with Ian. How does she know, definitively, the content and tone of my phone conversation with Ian? I did not yell at Ian over the phone. I firmly told him why I was disappointed and that all his excuses were not going to solve the problem. I warned him that if he continued to deny responsibility for the missing parts, for which I paid in full, that I was going to hang up. Ian continued to make excuses so I abruptly ended the call. As I expected, he did not call me back. Instead, he had Bernardo make the arrangements to deliver the missing breaker boxes. I am left to deduce that Ian is avoiding me and letting Bernardo and Michele do his job, even though they were not involved in our contentious conversation. Sad but typical behavior by this business owner.

As a follow up, Ian and Bernardo both gave me a call to explain what happened and make sure everything is now working. They are really nice guys and seem to care about their customers.

Good sized showroom with a full range of options. The sales reps are helpful, educational, and straight forward. They listened to what we wanted and then helped us find situations that we hadn't even considered.

This is the best spa and patio store I've ever purchased from. They spent the time to show me everything and the crew are so knowledgeable. I ended up buying a Bullfrog spa and loved the entire experience all the way down to the delivery. I had such a great experience I went back and bought my Firemagic BBQ, fridge, and kitchen sink. I also bought a full set of patio furniture from them and haven't had any issues. The 2 owners are pretty cool too. Just saying. Super nice, friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed in to the store. I hate shopping but love this store and would recommend them to anyone in the market for spas and patio furniture.

4 years after purchasing the Newport patio furniture it completely fell apart. I walked into the store to discuss my concerns with Bernardo, he & the store take no responsibility, they claim they no longer carry this JJ Wicker brand, therefore they've washed their hands of bad items sold in the past. Zero was offered to make up for my money wasted and my inconvenience. Completely unacceptable, would never buy from or recommend them again.

I can't say enough about our purely amazing experience with the Spa and Patio store from the minute we walked in the door and were greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable sales staff to delivery day, we had superior service. I highly recommend them and we will be going back for patio furniture and a BBQ to enjoy with our awesome hot tub!
